*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Chai Latte: 6/10 Got it hot. It's whatever. Kills my itch, but it's definitely more on the milkier side. Spice isn't very strong at all and there's a very subtle sweetness. Service: 9/10 Every employee I've ever encountered here is super nice and prompt. They bring you your drink if you don't hear them or if you're out on the patio. Ambiance: 10/10 Super duper cozy. There's couches and a variety of tables inside with lots of natural and yellow lighting. Music varies time to time, but it's nothing crazy. It's always something on the calmer side. It's pretty warm if you're inside. There's an outdoor patio area and it's very cute and spacious! There's a couple heaters as well. It usually gets more crowded towards the evening = gets noisy. There are outlets inside and on the patio, but not everywhere so be selective of where you sit. Parking lot is small, but never found it hard to find a spot even when it was crowded. TDLR: 100% on the pricier side, but if you don't mind, it's a super cozy place to study or socialize. The ades are pricey, but tastes good and a good option for caffeinated drinks. Chai latte is mid. Sweet potato latte is pretty good. Inside area is warm, patio can get cold even with warmers. I've always found parking. Wifi and outlets available, but not everywhere.
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 This place has easy parking, nice indoor and outdoor seating area. Very cozy and relax. Ordered strawberry yogurt drink from popular drinks and I was surprised it cost over $8. This is my most expensive drink so far. Taste was good but I can't justify myself spending this much for a drink. The store was busy regardless of the price. Maybe I ordered the expensive one out of their menu. It would be nice to have prices for their drinks. I don't see myself coming here regularly but it is a nice place to hang out.
I came here because I was looking for a place to study and have a meal at the same time. I saw they served food and thought 'ok!' I hade a strawberry matcha tea that was actually amazing 10/10. I ordered the ramen as well and was expecting a little more than top ramen and hot dogs (for $9?!) they called it "sausages" but I know Oscar Meyer when I taste it. Otherwise service is good. The vibes are vibey. I'd come back for the drinks and ambience.
From the outside, it doesn't look like much--but step in, and you're instantly welcomed by a cozy interior and soft, calming music that's perfect for studying or working. It's rare to find places with this much space; there are tables for both small groups and larger ones of up to 7-8 people, plus comfortable seating throughout. There's even more seating outside, which has become popular now that the weather's warming up--perfect for soaking in some sun while you work or relax. They do serve food, though I didn't try any this time. I went for the passion fruit ade, and honestly, I'd get it again. That one drink alone convinced me the rest of their drink menu is probably worth exploring. Though it did seem like their boba was popular too. Overall, it's a great spot for productivity with a solid drink menu and food options if you need them. Service was welcoming and quick, and I'd give it a solid 4--mainly because I haven't sampled the food yet.
I've been going to this cafe for years and I am SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED by this new change in cup size. Making their drinks "one size only" which spoiler alert is smaller then the original size. And the audacity to raise the price for a smaller amount of drink... I would have rather pay a little more and get the normal size than pay more for half the amount. For comparison, think of a grande starbies for $8.21... And those male workers were extremely unprofessional, they were extremely loud. BT Cafe you have lost my business!
Awesome place to hang out with lots of seating inside and outside. Open late which is always a plus. Service was great. Had the Dana slush which was certainly a very interesting drink with a cool combination of yogurt and slush. The drinks here were not bad but a lot of boba shops in this area and in the LA area in general just make better tasting drinks.
8.5/10 I love the ambiance of the place! A good amount of seating with outlets and the seats are super comfy. There's also a lot of outdoor seating with shades. Their boba is delish. I got their jasmine milk tea w FREE boba for $4.50. Such a deal! It was a bit on the sweeter side but was still amazing. The other things on their menu looked a bit more expensive but their milk teas are super cheap. I also got their citron hot tea which was super refreshing and delicious. Service was amazing and the drinks came out super quick! I'll be back to study here again soon :)
when yelp describes this as the perfect study/hangout spot they aren't kidding!! there's tons of cozy seating both inside and out, umbrellas, outlets, free wifi, a late closing time, and an atmosphere with just the right amount of noise!! the crowd is definitely other college students so be wary if that's not your thing, but for my friend and i it was perfect! the service was also really great and i actually wish i tipped more since i didn't initially realize the staff would bring the food over to me. when ordering, i initially chose the sea salt jasmine tea and wanted almond milk in it, but the worker swiftly informed me that the sea salt foams were premade with a different milk, but that i could still get a normal jasmine tea with almond milk foam and that's just what i did! the tea was fragrant and just the right amount of sweet for me. absolutely delish! we also split their house shaved ice with red bean which was a great price for two people and kept us both pretty full. it was loaded with fresh fruit and i don't think we even finished it all. we also both actually locked in and got our work done, which tells u how effective of a study spot this is. not to mention they have good music playing at the perfect volume while being located only a short drive away from the universities. so excited to study here in the future :)
This is a nice and cozy little cafe that has both inside and outside seating. The amount of items they have to offer is nice if I'm trying to hang out with some friends after grabbing dinner Service seemed like I was at someone's house. Very at home feeling and just hanging at a friends house. The desserts are a lot and they have a lot of Korean styled dishes like the croffle and drink! Good place to hang and chill with friends.
The croffle was amazing, especially it being just eight dollars. Ugh! I need to go back for it. I tried the split milk tea (half black tea half coffee) and it was pretty good! The seating is nice and ideal for studying and doing work. Staff do a great job with being attentive and meticulous about customer orders. read more

Used to go here all the time during school its a nice lowkey spot when summer field is packed, love that this place has lots of drink options but my go to is the pistachio shake and this pineapple drink with boba, however the wifi can be a bit slow sometimes but has lots of sitting options with outlets even outside! read more

If you're looking for a place to hangout with friends especially after 9pm this is one of your only choices. We came to meet up with some friends from out of town on a weeknight. It's located on the corner of Fairway/Golden Spring across from the 168 market/mcD plaza. There's plenty of parking in the side lot. This place small number of seating areas including 2 sofa areas, some small tables and one large table near to door. They do have some patio seats outside. But not a great place for huge groups over 6 people since seating is pretty limited especially during peak hours. It was totally packed the night we came at 9pm during a rainy night. There menu is mainly drinks hot or cold ranging from fresh teas, milk teas, smoothies but they also have a soft serve ice cream machine so you can get a bowl with fruit/toppings. There's not many actual food options with mostly finger food snacks and some korean snacks. The majority of our group got hot teas and one friend got a smoothie. Everyone's feedback was the drinks were just OK. Not great but not horrible especially for the price point and time of night. Overall a good place for some drinks and catchup with friends or maybe first date to talk? Abit loud for studying but maybe during the daytime when its empty or with headphones on. They do have free wifi available with outlets all over the place. read more

Staff is friendly and the drinks are good. Peach yogurt smoothie is my personal fave!! The vibes are good but it can get super crowded, so if you want a table you have to wait. Still a fun spot! read more

Love this place so much my go to order is a Dana slush... grape yogurt slush with frozen yogurt on top good with or without boba so yummy and you can switch up the flavors too if you don't like the grape verison. Tastes like a skittle slush to me read more

Best cafe I've visited! Similar to ones in Korea and Japan. Beautiful, cozy interior. Relaxing and homely atmosphere. Students studying and elders catching up. Huge outdoor area. Maybe it's because of the comfy interior design or super nice, friendly owner and staffs or both but most importantly, I think it's because of variety of tasty drinks you can't find in other boba places. read more

Super cute and cozy cafe, perfect spot to study. There's wifi and i really loved the playlist playing. I sat next to one of the multiple power outlets indoor. The seats were also comfy and I loved the aesthetic. I ordered the hazelnut latte with oat milk, and would rate drink a 7/10, not my favorite but I'm excited to try a milk tea next time. read more

I come here often to study, chill with friends, or to just enjoy a nice drink. The atmosphere is always so inviting and warm. Sitting at the couch, chairs, tables, or even outside are always very comfortable. Shoutout to Sam for the great service every time I come. It was very busy when we got there and I only saw two people working so I think they did a pretty good job for it being very busy and it just being 2 of them. This place is a very good place for large gatherings they have indoor and outdoor seating. Both the inside and outside was packed. I loved the vibe and decor. They had a tv but nothing on it and I don't recall hearing music. I noticed a lot of people were either studying or working most were inside some very few outside. The Thai tea was average the sandwich is what I really enjoyed. read more
Came here late afternoon to do some work. I first sat outside and there was ample lighting from the LED lights and comfy chairs and tables sit at. I then moved inside as it got colder it let me tell you it was extremely warm and cozy inside. Lots of seating inside and outside. Parking can fill up pretty quick. Service was great and the staff gave me drink recommendations to choose from. Overall great place to study! They also have free wi-fi :) read more

came here for some late night sweets! Did not disappoint! I have not seen bingsoo overloaded with so many things lol, def lots of fruit and mixes of things but wasn't bad! would've liked to see more customizations of bingsoo or sizes but it was fine! Ambiance is really cool, it was quite busy around 10pm but outside seating and lights made it such a vibeeee! would def come back if I am craving some late night sweets or a place go study/hangout! read more
Cafe BT (Cafe Boba Time) is located in a small shopping center with limited parking. Their menu offers a variety of items and so we got a little bit of everything. We ordered a pistachio shake, strawberry yogurt smoothie, hazelnut latte, croffle, churros and ramen. The drinks were delicious, I would definitely come back again and try out their other coffee items. My son loved the croffle. I appreciated their outdoor seating, super cute and spacious. The cafe has one restroom and I adored the little details all around the cafe. read more

I love their drinks!! got the pineapple fruit soda w/ lychee and strawberry dana slush! Dana slush has boba on the way bottom, w/ your choice of fruit slush & yogurt on top, it's so creamy, smooth, and sweet~ Their bobas are also very tasty & chewy. I loved that there were lots of seating and closes late :) I think I'll crave their slush everyday... hehehe read more

Would say Cafe BT is THE SPOT to check out if you are in the area. I personally have been going here for the past 4 years throughout nursing school to study and chill with the homies late at night. There are cozy couches inside and patio heaters outdoors when it gets cold. The workers are extremely respectful and hardworking so I make sure to tip a lot whenever I go. Their drinks are unmatched as well. They use real fruit in their drinks not like the other boba shops. If you haven't tried the Yogurt smoothie or Dana slush you are missing out!! You won't be disappointed read more

My friend & I wanted to go to a cafe to eat & brainstorm while also staying near by. We came upon this cute little cafe. When we arrived it was in a small shopping center & then when you open the door you are transported to the cutest little cafe! It was quaint & quiet with many people there studying. We were so excited to have found a nee study space! We both ordered a drink to try & got the turkey BLT! 10/10! Loveddddd it! The flavors blended beautiful it was buttery from the bread, salty from the bacon, so fresh from the produce, and sweet from the honey dijon. SO GOOD. I literally am craving it as I type! Then before leaving we got dessert which was equally as tasty! I really loved this placed & in total I believe I spent maybe $32 which I thought was reasonable for what i received. It was also such a peaceful space we sat outside & it was so beautiful during the day, gorgeous aesthetic space for those looking to add it to a poster board will 100% be back... mostly for that sandwich! read more

What a little gem in the city of Walnut! I always passed by this street but never tried this place out until yesterday. I tried the blue Hawaiian and avacado smoothie w/ boba which were both amazing. The blue Hawaiian was refreshing and kinda of citrusy, which meshed well with their frozen yogurt on top. The avacado smoothie tasted fresh and they blended it really well, the consistency of it was great. Also I'd recommend adding their boba because it tastes super fresh and chewy. I definitely will be back to try out other drinks on their menu and maybe even the food. read more

The ambiance is very cozy and quiet. They have indoor and outside seating, either is nice. The staff are very attentive and caring. They have different varieties of drinks, frozen yogurt, coffee, boba, snacks, and sandwiches. It's my new favorite place to relax and drink coffee. They're also students that go there to study throughout the day. So far I have liked everything that I have gotten here and there's more to come. read more

Cafe BT is one of my favorite boba places! I have been coming here since before the name change which used to be Boba Time and I have never been disappointed. All of the workers and the owner (I think she is the owner) are extremely friendly and the service is great! You can tell that the owner cares about this place and the people who come here. I have only tried about three drinks off of the menu (mocha frappe, jasmine milk tea, and green tea frappe) and all have been consistent in flavor and texture of the boba. I have been here both busy and not, but it definitely is a beautiful place with great seating whether it be indoors or outdoors. Restroom is always clean too which is a plus! Although the parking lot of small, I have not had any difficulty finding a spot even when it is super busy! Overall a great place if in the area and an ideal place for studying. read more
