This cute and cozy cafe is within walking distance from where I work and I love to treat myself to an iced matcha sweetened with honey twice a month. Their prices are better than other competitors including big chains while their quality is superior! Street parking nearby is paid but there are structures a bit further out that are free. Service is super fast and efficient. I highly recommend this spot for matcha! read more

The good: Central location in Burbank. The vanilla latte I ordered was good and my son enjoyed his gelato The ugly: Parking can be hit or miss and for "good" coffee on the go, might as well go somewhere else with easier parking. Also, customer service here is mediocre at best. The young lady that took my order accidentally pushed over a candy jar that broke by my son's feet. It was an accident and she was apologetic, so no problem, but the gentleman that helped her clean it up was very rude. After it occurred, they proceeded to help the man who had just walked in instead of finishing up our order, so we had to wait to be helped after being disrupted by the broken jar. For the ambiance, nothing to report here. I won't be returning. There are plenty of better options nearby where you can be greeted with a smile and delicious coffee. read more

I have been meaning to try this place out for a while now and finally I got to go in earlier today and get my self a cold brew coffee. That's my preferred coffee drink and sometimes a cappuccino or a latte. Not a fan of sweetened drinks when you can't taste the coffee. The cold brew was delicious, I asked them to add a splash of whole milk and it was perfect. They sell some pastries, gelato, teas ...I didn't try any of those but next time for sure. After completing "The Oz Experience" scavenger hunt, we stopped in to get a couple smoothies and they were absolutely delicious. They are not the standard run of the mill smoothies. You could taste the difference and the quality of ingredients used. We also got a small strawberry and a small oreo gelato and they did not disappoint. Once again, quality you can taste. The staff were welcoming and provide service with a smile. The place is bright with a small sitting area both inside and out. It was spotless with a very comfortable, calming vibe. As an avid matcha drinker I was incredibly disappointed with my matcha latte. I paid $9 for the Kyoto ceremonial matcha for it to just taste like oat milk. If I'm paying that much for matcha I expect it to taste like it. There are much better matcha places in you drive to LA or 30 mins from Burbank to San Gabriel Valley. read more

Cafe Grano was a nice little discovery for me while walking around downtown Burbank in the weekend, looking for a place to grab a snack and a pick me up coffee. I am glad they are around because I avoid chains as much as possible. They have indoor and outdoors seating, nice decor, good service, decent espresso and great pastries, their muffins look fantastic, the cherry one was delicious. As we stayed overnight in Burbank we decided to stop here in the morning on our back way home in San Jose. The Soy Cappuccino was brewed beautifully though they only came in the standard 8 oz size. My girlfriend and I stopped by today and had an amazing experience. The chocolate croissant was absolutely delicious fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. We also tried the shaken espresso, which was amazing!! What really made our visit special was the owner.
