After dinner at a nearby restaurant, my friends and I decided we wanted to grab a sweet treat. Located in the Park Place plaza, although it was a busy time of night we were able to get in through the to-go line within about 10 minutes after ordering. The young lady that assisted us was helpful but I could tell that she was busy with assisting others who were at tables. I hadn't been to this location before could definitely tell that this place was just like the other locations - a nice place to just chill out and enjoy some good stuff. I opted for a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and my husband ordered a slice of the Oreo cheesecake. I appreciate that the portions are generous and I knew I was not going to be able to eat everything during one sitting. Once we got home, I had a chance to eat a bit of the cheesecake and it was so delicious. I loved the bits of white chocolate and the balance of raspberry was perfect. Tasty, but I would have liked more salmon for the price. Tomato Basil Pasta - Tomato, mushrooms, onions, garlic, basil and herbs. Vegan. Doesn't look pretty, but it's a hearty meal and the only Vegan option I noticed. Avocado - (A la carte) With no photo or description, I expected avocado slices. Unfortunately, I received a tablespoon of spread. They should provide a photo and more accurate description in the Yelp menu. I wrote three times, "Do not send utensils or napkins," so naturally, they sent SEVEN packs. So wasteful, and I don't understand the logic when food is being delivered to a home which presumably already has utensils and napkins. I wish all restaurants would send utensils by request only instead of by default. I'm fairly confident that I would have enjoyed the meal more at the restaurant, and I give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when I order delivery. read more

There was no wait time to be seated. We arrived around 11:00am and I was so shocked there was no wait time. I have been here before but a different location. The food came out fast. The service was great . Our waiter made rounds often to check on us and make sure we were good. The Belgium waffle was awesome. Eggs were really cheesy just how I like them. The chicken sausage was great also. The bacon could have been a little bit more crispy but after giving it some thought I didn't tell them crispy. I tried something different, espresso with tequila instead of vodka. The bartender Lola mad it and I recommend getting one . It was strong and great. The pictures speak for themself. This wonderful bistro serves upscale food with a European ambiance. The patio area is partially covered and provides a nice outdoor experience while still offering some shade from the hot Atlanta sun. It's a great place to come for a meal, or for a coffee and dessert. The worst part of our meal was the slow service. Appetizers Spicy seafood dip with fresh baguette The creamy, cheesy dip has small pieces of seafood in it and has enough heat to be flavorful but not overpowering. Entrees CROQUE-Madame The dish comes with rosemary potatoes and is an excellent choice for a hardy breakfast. The creamy white sauce compliments a generous portion of ham and cheese. Spinach Salad Very refreshing and filling. I added grilled chicken which felt a little dry. The strawberry and lemon poppy vinaigrette worked well together! Arugula Salad The mango and arugula combo was good. I felt that it was missing more of the mango flavor and grilled chicken and it was a little bit dry, but it was good! Dessert Nutella & Banana Crepe -- we ordered this along with our Entrees, but it never came out. The waitress took it off our bill and gave it to us in a Togo box. Drinks Mimosa A balanced drink that isn't overwhelmingly bubbles Service We were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait when we arrived @10:30AM on a Sunday, but ended up waiting ~30 minutes. Not a problem because there's a nice courtyard outside the restaurant to wander around through, but it'd be good to have more accurate estimates. Cafe Intermezzo has always been a delight to me, dating back well over 20 years, when, as a youngster, I felt so mature getting coffee and sweets there with my friends. Located in the same plaza as Eclipse de Luna and Sage, this location is conveniently located in a shopping and dining plaza with ample parking. I went at 10am on a Sunday and enjoyed the quiet patio before the crowd picked up. Restaurant has extensive menus with something for everyone. Family friendly. Nice patio when weather is nice. Late night enjoy their extensive cocktails and desserts(probably their claim to fame) and early morning the extensive cafe menu has all the caffeine one needs. I ordered the latte(perfect) and the egg white grain bowl with chicken sausage. I couldn't find any grains so I added toast as well. My girlfriend and I dined here early on a Friday evening so it was a perfect opportunity to try out their dinner selection before our usual dessert order. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad. The salad itself is $10 and you can add a variety of protein. For chicken, it's an additional $6.50. Now, $16.50 is pretty pricey for a basic B salad, but y'all -- this is the main reason I'm writing this update. The chicken Caesar was SO GOOD. It was filled with all the authentic flavors one should taste in a perfect Caesar dressing - the spice, the cream, even the lime. The cheese was of excellent quality, and the sourdough croutons were some of the best buttery pieces of heaven I've ever had. The chicken comes out warm on top of this excellent salad. It's very enjoyable!! As always the dessert was excellent. I went through the entire cake tour before ordering my trusty Oreo cheesecake. Super delicious! Service was perfect, probably one of the best servers I've ever had here. Shoutout to Ethan!! I love visiting this location and the other location in Avalon whenever I'm in Georgia. Honestly surprised they don't have a higher rating. The service is great and the atmosphere is lovely. I absolutely LOVE their tomato basil pasta with grilled chicken and highly recommend giving it a try. It is so rich and flavorful and the pasta sauce tastes homemade. I usually try to stay away from ordering pasta dishes at restaurants because I feel like the sauce is never flavorful enough but that is never the case here. Their Tuscan beet root salad is also super fresh and delicious. I also order the white chocolate hot chocolate and it is absolutely amazing. Their desserts are also great! Drinks: the originally served water was frankly undrinkable and tasted like dentist water. Had to order a 1 Liter glass of water. Turkish coffee wasn't as hot as it should be. Other drinks were relatively good. Service: understandable slow service due to lack of servers. Was disappointed that other tables were constantly checked up on sans my table. Have a typical 18% tip understanding the stress. If not for that I would have not tipped at all. Food: aside from the Beatle found in my Naan and Lox appetizer it was a pretty good. The food aside from that was rather sad. Could compare it to the feeling of reviewing socks as a Christmas present as a child. First thing I noticed was the ambience; the moody, red-tinged interior and the classy outdoor portion where we sat matched well. The online menu was easy to access and very simple to navigate. I got the tiramisu cheesecake and it was delightful. My gf got the North Face and the lemon torte; the former was heavy on the Schnapps but I liked that we got our moneys worth, and the cake was heavenly. SO CUTE. My boyfriend and I stopped here for dessert and it was so awesome. The ambiance is romantic and dark and it feels like you're on vacation. I really enjoy this intimate cafe tucked across the road from Perimeter mall. The location is super convenient and there were a lot of parking spots available so I really appreciate that. We got seated almost immediately on a Sunday morning and chose to sit inside but the outside had a good relaxing vibe to it that I would have enjoyed as well. The drink menu is extensive as they offer many types of coffee, cappuccino, coffee with alcohol, wine, tea, granitas, you name it. I chose the Turkish coffee ($5+) which I loved! The flavor was super unique and something I'd come back here for. We also got baked brie (~$9) that came paired with a freshly baked baguette that was pillowy soft on the inside. I'm waiting for the announcement that this location is closing. This used to be a great place crowded with people and tables everywhere. It's now spacious and is empty as they've removed the tables that used to be near the railing and the interior setup of tables has been reduced. It's lost that cozy intimate feel outside and inside. The menus are gone as are the cute glass containers of sugar cubes. There is no longer a person to educate you on the deserts choices. You better figure it out on your own and either write it down for yourself or remember it so you can tell your waiter. I miss the old days there and I'll opt to go to the one at the Avalon as it still has all the things missing from the Dunwoody location. read more

I specially mentioned that I do not eat pork, but towards the end of my meal, I found bacon bits in my 'All American Egg' Breakfast. However, the manager was very apologetic and took off my breakfast platter from the check. But I don't know why they would make such a big mistake. The environment is quite intimate with the lights seemingly dim on the inside. They give you an option to sit outside or inside. You are usually seated immediately. Cafe Intermezzo offers brunch menu items which are served all day my favorite dish on this menu is the Intermezzo Omelette and the seasoned skillet potatoes. They also offer a variety of other items for lunch and dinner the chicken sandwich is tasty and my go to item for something healthy and light is the Greek Salad. This little restaurant's strong point is the desserts, there are Tour Guides who walk you through the names an description of every dessert, then you choose the one you want and the guide will write it on a piece of paper and you give it to your server. They offer a large selection of cheese cakes, cakes, and tarts. The Strawberry cake and carrot cake are my top 2 choices. The customer service is always great at this location.
