I have eaten here for the past 15 years and this by far was the worst meal I have ever eaten! The waitress was very rude. Three of us ordered the same special and theso-called filet Mignone tasted like roast beef with canned gravy. School cafeteria food was better than this! Don't waste your money. Came here on the night of Christmas Eve - they had a limited menu that night, but it still had plenty of options for all four of us (my parents, grandfather, and I). My mother and I shared the stuffed artichoke as an appetizer and that was probably the least impressive thing we ordered that whole night. It was good, but it wasn't as amazing as the waitress made it sound. My dad and grandpa ordered the portobello mushroom for an app, and they both raved about it for days. Okay, NOW I get what all the fuss is about. Every time I pass this place, the parking lot is PACKED so I decided to check out what was so special about Cafe L'Amore. Of course only to find out the answer was EVERYTHING! I sat down and ordered my food and within seven minutes it was already steaming hot and in front of me. Not only was the service super speedy, but the food was AMAZING. The staff also like to joke with their customers, which I personally love and the setting seems to be a little ironic, which I also love. Cafe L'Amore is fabulous. Whether you are looking for a great Italian meal or something lighter, like pizza and a salad, there is always a lot on the menu from which to choose. I love their specials and enjoy when a special becomes so popular that it gets added to the regular menu. Some of my favorite dishes are portobello milanese, roasted beet salad, stuffed rigatoni and filet mignon, and of course, chicken parmigiana. The pizza is amazing - thin crust made in a wood burning oven. Margherita, mushroom, four cheese, and seafood are among my favorites but I also often order the special of the day. This is my favorite Italian restaurant anywhere! The food is absolutely amazing every time we come. My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years. I love coming to visit Nancy and the rest of the servers. They are so wonderful! I've never left without wanting to tell everyone how amazing the food is. And it's the best pizza anywhere, I wish I lived closer and could get pizza from here more often! Perfection! Also, just had a party here for my cousins communion! Food was fantastic but restaurant was definitely NOT following covid restrictions. Every table was taken and tables were NOT 6 feet apart. I am not normally a worrier, but I was very uncomfortable. Gave this place one more try after a so-so dining in experience a few years back. Ordered two pies- nonna and margarita. We couldn't tell which was which. Cheese was sliding off the mushy crust and the sauce had no flavor. The seafood salad was drenched in oil and the shell fish tasted super funky like it was in the freezer for months. My husband and I have dined at many Italian restaurants that we really enjoyed. But, none come close to L'Amore. We originally went here because a friend has a very restrictive diet. He calls ahead to speak with the chef. He was incredibly accommodating. If you make a reservation, you are always seated upon arrival. The staff is amazing. Mark, the chef, stopped by to see if we were enjoying our dinner. We were seated in the back near the kitchen. I felt cold air blowing on my legs. Without me saying anything, I saw a waiter close the door. I thank him. Now to the food- scrumptious!! I had veal francese. I don't think I've ever eaten a more tender piece of meat. One of our friends said that his veal saltimbocca was the best he had ever eaten. Don't be put off by the small parking lot. There is an attendant who will park your car and remember which is your car when you leave. read more

The food is pretty good however the service makes me not want to go back. I've gone twice and both times they stuck my girlfriend and I into the corner where it on a slow night took at least 20 minutes just to get a drink order. This was after they took just about the same amount of time to greet and seat us, there was a line to be seated and half the restaurant was empty. Servers were few and rude. Monday evening was our first visit to this lovely Italian restaurant. There were four of us. The food is amazing! We enjoyed the oven fresh bread along with some fabulous appetizers. My personal favorite is the stuffed artichoke. The dinner portions are generous, enough to take home and enjoy again the next day. The service is great, as is the atmosphere. Very good food. Friendly dining room waitstaff. Here is the problem and I find it very frustrating, I have sat there multiple times waiting an hour for food after being told to pick it in 30 minutes. People walk in and out that have placed orders after me or while I'm there waiting. These people seem to be on a first name basis with the owner. When ordering pick up, don't pay for your food until it's on the counter. This might motivate them to get your order out faster or you can just leave without waiting for a refund. Last time we called in an order at 4:30, was told 30 minutes, arrived at 5:12 and didn't leave with my food until 5:52. We are or were a regular and order once a week. The order was a pizza, sandwich, fries and an appetizer. After a hard week of work, I just want to get home and see my family. Very frustrating. read more

Three of us had lunch here Tuesday. It was a wonderful experience. Don't let the strip mall deceive you, this is a great restaurant. The interior is very nicely done with white tablecloths and white cloth napkins. The low background noise level allows you to hold a conversation with your table mates and hear and be heard. The service we had was super. Most important of all, the Chicken Francaise I had was superb and the penne was al dente with good sauce. My mates were very happy with their meals also. The food is excellent - it's the unclean bathroom, and the fact that the waitstaff doesn't know how to space out a meal (twice my entrée his arrive before my appetizer), that I don't like.
