I'm gonna base this review strictly on the attitude of the little boy, running the counter and the fact that he made the mistake and his attitude about it and the way that he shoved the pizza in my hand... outside of that we enjoy the food here, but this is the third time that we have come and had to deal with miscommunications and an attitude because of the miscommunication it is in no way your guest fault that there is a language barrier you chose to open a restaurant in the heart of Concord, California. Listen. You need to have ONE person per shift that speaks the language of the locals! I am not paying you for something I didn't order becauae you and none of you staff speaks English. And ur understanding is minimal. I do not speak Italian, or enough, Spanish or whatever language. You messed up the phone order and now I'm standing in front of you and you messed it up again. None of this is my fault. Hire at least one local to take your orders. The food is good. The pizza is great. The attitude sucks. The food is absolutely delicious, but it would be nice to be able to order without confusion, and once there is confusion, it would be nice to not be treated poorly simply because the employee cannot communicate with the customer Also, when I order wine and pay for wine, I would like for my wine to be cold and also not taste as though it was cold then put in a warm spot then putting in the freezer hot cold, hot cold . This is a good restaurant, but there should be somebody serving the people who can communicate with the people who know something about the wines something about the beers and doesn't always look grumpy, miserable and angry at the customers because they don't understand him. Hello I really like this restaurant but whoever the guy taking orders during the lunch hour, is horrible. I dont understand why i cant order my meal how I want it. There is inconsistency. I went during lunch a while back and tried to switch a side that came with my order and the guy would not honor it. I went in a week ago and had dinner and the owner i believe gave me what i ordered no problem. So im just confused what's allowed and what is not. If it isn't policy, there should be room for change with the wraps and sandwiches. The sides should be allowed to be changed if I should want onion rings instead of French fries or truffle "fries" instead of the seasoned fries. Why not! If there is a difference in price no worries just charge me extra. I don't mind. read more

Ordered to go and the food did not disappoint! The Cesar salad wasn't your typical boring Cesar salad. The Garlic Shrimp Fettucini was 10/10 amazing!! Softest shrimp I've ever had too. Lastly we ordered the Tutto Carne Pizza, and it was very flavorful. I really liked that it wasn't an overwhelming amount of meat on the pizza. Prices seem very fair for the quality of their food. We were passing through and stopped here to grab a bite. It was completely deserted. This was probably ok because there was only 1 person who was server and everything. We saw one other employee who gave us water, but never showed their face again. The food was ok, nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The restroom was fairly clean. They do have a gluten free crust if you are looking for that option. It looks like it might be in the middle of a change of ownership based on a notice on the window. They are not in the least Italian nor do they know Italian food. Whole anchovies in the Caesar salad with old shaved Parmesan and bottled dressing as a start. $13. Smashed pastrami sandwich, with a small amount of burned pastrami because they put it on the flat top to heat it up. Sauerkraut must have been warmed up with it and bread was dry. Oh, and grease dripping from the cheese. That sandwich was $18. I am shocked at the positive reviews. One good thing- they have cheap happy hour every day. When there was no one inside the restaurant and only people drinking on the patio I was concerned. Then I tasted the food and understood why. The server was friendly. But when I mentioned my disappointment with the food he said they have a five star chef! Lol. Sadly, this place won't last. It's a good location for a great restaurant to move into. read more

I've been dying to come back here to try their pasta and had the chance last night. I had the bolognese pasta and it was so good and they make their pasta fresh which was a real treat. My daughter also had the shrimp pasta and loved it. Will definitely come back again. Nice folks and great food. read more

The food was delicious. My son had the chicken pesto and I had the seafood linguine. They both had a zesty garlic kick. The garden salad was spicy with arugula and beautifully balanced with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We finished the meal off with tasty canollis. 10/10 would totally recommend. The owner was attentive and funny. There are 3 large screens so you can watch the game if that's what you're into. Lots of beer and wine to choose from. We will definitely be back and we will bring the rest of the family next time. read more

We just happen to walk by and glanced at Cafe Napolina when we realized , we had never been there before. So , we decided to stop in and give it a try. We weren't in the market for a huge meal but rather a few drinks and a snack. As soon as we walked in , we were greeted and welcomed by a gentleman by the name of Deejay. Sat at the bar , super nice, super attentive along with one of the chefs/cooks named Ram. Overall experience although not too long , was phenomenal. Very welcoming and amazing service.
