    Morning Cafe!

A downtown institution and mainstay, Nosh moved from its former location tucked away in the Seybold. Building further down Flagler Street next door to 7 Eleven. I've been going to Nosh for years for that morning cup of coffee, downtown breakfast (2 eggs, tostada, bacon/ham and fries/pirates), a miga and whatever pastelitos tickled my fancy at the time. And the service has always been okay and yes just okay. Which I always chalked up to a language barrier; even with that, the ladies are always kind. With the move from its Linear Lunch Counter spot in the aforementioned Seybold Building to the current location Nosh seemed to have lost some of its charm. The coffee was (clearing my throat) not good at all and I ended up tossing it away. I ordered a grilled cheese with ham. The cheese was not melted and the only slightly warm. Just a disappointing breakfast all around. I'm not sure if Nosh is under new management or have they fallen victim to the fate of many restaurants that lose that Jena se quo when they move locations or the kids take over. Whatever the reason, Nosh is no longer a good place to get a bit of a nosh.

Came yesterday (10/29/19) with 3 coworkers for a birthday celebration. I ordered a cheeseburger without the bun with french fries. Everything was so delicious, especially the french fries!! I gave away about a third of the fries but I ate all of the ones that I had left. The burger was also perfect!! I can't wait to come back! This will be my suggestion every time we go out to lunch! Two of my coworkers had the omelette with french fries and one had a wrap. Everyone enjoyed their food and raved about the french fries!!

Sometimes a simple comfort food means chicken noodle soup! This reminds me of homemade chicken soup that your grandma makes when your sick. Its hearty as it has carrots, celery, potatoes noodles and decent pieces of chicken breast. It's not a far walk from where I am but they also deliver if need be. Though I've only taken it to-go, the interior is clean and has plenty seatingif you choose to dine in. For the small cup, it is 4.99 and they also offer the soup of the day if you wish for something else!

Ordered Delivery from here today we order from them often, because they have pretty good breakfast, but after today I will never order from here again. I called to let them know the salad I had ordered as a side didn't come, he said he would resend it to me. I told him no because I would be finished with my lunch. He said in the most condescending tone that he would credit my account ONE DOLLAR, I asked if a salad costs a dollar he rudely said yes, I told him keep the dollar I will never order from them again. I'm sure they will miss the 40 to 50 dollars more so than the dollar salad. On another note the pepper steak was dry.

Cafe nosh is located on Flagler right near my office. Great location for the downtown courthouse crowd. I've been here probably 4 times now and I get the palomilla steak with white rice and plantains every single time. It's a great price and great flavor, I really enjoy it! Soon I will muster up the courage to try something else on the menu. As far as breakfast is concerned, I ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel one morning. It was a good bagel priced around $6 after adding the bacon and cheese (which they charge extra for).

If you work around the Downtown area in Miami, this spot is a great pick for lunch. Their menu offers a wide selection of home made dishes and comfort food. The service is highly efficient and the food perfect for a traditional quick lunch in during business hours. If you are trying to call for pick up I strongly recommend you call before 11:30 others their lines get jammed and it is impossible to get through. They don't have an app yet that I am aware of so if I am in a rush I make sure I call before their peak hour madness. On this particular visit I had the Chicken Cilantro with mashed potatoes with vegetables.

Randomly tried this restaurant while on my lunch break. They have daily specials and an low key atmosphere. They unfortunately didn't have one of their main dishes (the chicken nosh) . I tried the lunch omelette with ham and cheese. Was inexpensive and a good amount of food.

Went here and sat down...the waitress kept staring at me and I was obviously ready to place my order. Instead she then went to the back and pretended to be doing stuff (picking things up and putting them back down) obviously trying to avoid me in an establishment full of white people yet it's Cuban operated. Ridiculously perfidious I will NEVER come back.

Don't give your money to this place! I have tried this place on three occasions and it has been a disappointment every single time. Today's disappointment was a chicken noodle soup for $6.47. It's soup out of a can. Nothing special about the soup. The soup consist of yellow water, a few carrots, celery and lots of noddles. And, one piece of chicken. Just one.

Best eggwhite omelet in downtown Miami! Coffee is good and the toast is crunchy!

The shrimp and grits were initially served a little warm so I asked for them to be warmed up. They came back piping hot, which I appreciated. The side of sweet potatoes was yummy and I didn't even need to use the sauce that was served along with it. The Philly with fries was a large portion and the fries were delicious. There is a parking lot in the back but looks limited.
