When we arrived they were extremely busy with the Caffeine Crawl. So our wait was a bit long. Then the saddest thing happened, someone took my drink. Which they tried to make right, but no longer had the ingredients available for the drink I ordered. They offered to replace my drink with whatever else I wanted. Then when it was ready they also gave me a coupon to use for a future visit. Very cool!! My replacement drink was absolutely delicious, so double forgiven. Ollama has a great staple menu as well as interesting and fun seasonal drinks! The Cafe de Olla is a nice, warm, slightly spiced coffee that is perfect in the winter or fall. My friend and I got coffee flights of their standard drinks last year, and I enjoy the menu items both hot and cold. We had a variety of coffees and a pumpkin concha. Everything was good and unique. We had a flight and a Mami Gloria. Out of everything the Cafe de Olla (cold) was my favorite. It absolutely slapped. Recently I ordered the CDMX Smog. It honeslty tasted like watered down champorado. My boyfriend ordered the Mami Gloria which is iced espresso with Coca-Cola. Neither one of us cared much at all for these coffees. $15 total for both coffees. I will definitely order something else if we come back. The staff are nice and the cafe is cute with art work hung up to enjoy while you wait or while you sip your coffee. I also noticed some danish available at the counter. read more

I love trying new coffee shops with friends. We chose Cafe Ollama this week and could not have been happier with our choice. It is smaller than I realized, but also very cozy. They have a small menu but all were explained to us by the young girl working. I saw they had a flight through Yelp pictures but was not on the menu so we asked. It was available and came with a hot and cold cafe ollama brew - plus you pick two. A few danish to pick from but they were tasty. My favorite was the Tia de Rosa - however I was not a fan of the dried flowers on top as they were not edible. We will be back and also recommend this place. read more

My husband had a hot caramel and vanilla latte with oat milk and I had an iced caramel latte with oat milk. Both were flavorful and quality espresso. Great staff. Peaceful interior and I like the eclectic decor. I got one of the Barista specials- the Ronaldinho I think? I thought it was a coffee drink but apparently it only is if you ask for a shot of espresso, which I should have done! The Wi-Fi is ok (not full bars). The seating is mostly hard folding chairs which made for a sore bum but there are a few cozy seats. There's a giant window and I forgot my sunscreen or else I would have stayed longer! I would recommend this place more as a grab-and-go type of coffee shop. Note: I don't think there is a customer bathroom!! read more

The coffee at Cafe Ollama was absolutely AMAZING. As someone who doesn't typically go for coffee, I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved it. The flavors were bursting with richness, and the unique blend was like nothing I've ever tasted before. I love this place, it is so cute and unique! I walked in and felt like I was transported into a cafe in Central America! It also has this feel like you're in someone's living room. It might actually be- I am not sure! My friend and I got the Cafe de Olla and it was delicious!!! I'm super picky about drinks and this was pure perfection! The young lady working was nice as can be as well. A couple complaints, though it still deserves 5 starts, it was very very hot in there and I was sweating. Also, it seems as though in the back is someone's home or another business because after I saw the young lady leave it was a ghost town around 10:30 or so. I felt like I had to do customer service when a few people walked in and asked if anyone is working. They need maybe a bell to ring for service? Or completely close if no one is working? What a cute coffee place! I had the Cafe De Olla iced with sweet foam and WOW!! Just wow!! The spices blended really well and the sweet foam really topped it off to perfection. I also had a chocolate concha and it was a little too dry and crunchy for my liking so I think I will try another pastry on my next trip. I first learned about this coffee shop back in December, and I've already been there twice in the past month. They have such u unique flavors! The coffee shop sits in the crossroads right off Southwest Blvd and I-35. There is plenty of street parking in front and on the block. The space is in a historic building and has artwork on the walls. When I first went, I honestly wanted to try a little bit of everything because it's so unique. The flight is the way to go! The staff gave suggestions and even let me sample one. Two of my favorites had to be the La Tia Rosa a mazapán latte with peanut based candy steamed with oat milk. Was super happy to try this coffee shop. The parking can be difficult with being on a busy street and with contruction right now but i easily found parking behind the building. I ordered the CDMX smog and it was suprising different from what I was expecting but still amazing. It was smooth, warm, and not overly sweet. I found Cafe Ollama when looking for a coffee shop in town. I saw the fun coffee flight and knew I had to go. I didn't see any signs up advertising the flight so just ask! * COFFEE FLIGHT $14 to try a sample of 4 different coffees. It comes with Cafe de Olla hot and cold brew, and you get to pick the other 2 coffees you want. My picks were the Chatita and the La Tia Rosa. Surprisingly my favorite was the hot Cafe de Olla. The spices were so warming and cozy, paired nicely with the biscuit they gave. I thought the La Tia Rosa would be my favorite but it wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would have a heavy peanut flavor but I think the peanut flavor only came from the crushed peanuts on top. The Chatita consisted of espresso and horchata. I wish there was more horchata flavor but I thought the foam and churros on top were a great touch. As others have mentioned, the space is small and intimate so not the best place to camp out and work on your laptop. read more

This weekend I brought our friend from Brazil and my husband from Bolivia and they loved the cultural ties. The flights were great. I love having chocolate on busy work days, and Ollama had the perfect way to kick the morning off! I came by one morning and absolutely fell in love with the cafe! The walls are decorated with gorgeous paintings and pictures, and they also have a cute patio area. Located on Southwest Boulevard, it's also perfect for a little pick me up before hitting any of the Mexican restaurants nearby. I ordered the Chocoflan, which was available both hot and iced. Each sip felt like I was drinking straight chocolate. It was warm and cozy and thicker than your regular coffee, but still refreshing. I'm not normally a huge fan of the bitter coffee taste, but I easily downed all that caffeine through this drink. The chocolate concha was soft, sweet, and went perfectly with the coffee.
