Ollama has a great staple menu as well as interesting and fun seasonal drinks! The Cafe de Olla is a nice, warm, slightly spiced coffee that is perfect in the winter or fall. My friend and I got coffee flights of their standard drinks last year, and I enjoy the menu items both hot and cold. At times, the drinks do take a while to prepare, but there is enough room to wait in the shop.
I love this place and the valentines drinks were so cute! I love the service every time I go, everyone is very kind!
Cafe Ollama is a quaint Mexican coffee shop serving a limited menu of delicious authentic drinks. I went with the classic Cafe de Olla which was delicious and richly flavored. Perfect on a cold winter day. Such a cute little coffee shop to stop in at and enjoy a nice cup of coffee or pastry.
We had a variety of coffees and a pumpkin concha. Everything was good and unique. We had a flight and a Mami Gloria. Out of everything the Cafe de Olla (cold) was my favorite. It absolutely slapped. Service was great. You can do any of the drinks in the flight. They give you two and you choose two. The cafe is cute. It's a little small so seating might be tight inside but they also have outdoor seating.
My drinks were excellent. She gave me and my business associate some sample drinks as well as our regular order. It was a quiet place to have our 2 hour meeting. Construction in Jan 2026 makes parking a little challenging. Everything was fantastic.
Recently I ordered the CDMX Smog. It honeslty tasted like watered down champorado. My boyfriend ordered the Mami Gloria which is iced espresso with Coca-Cola. Neither one of us cared much at all for these coffees. $15 total for both coffees. I will definitely order something else if we come back. The staff are nice and the cafe is cute with art work hung up to enjoy while you wait or while you sip your coffee. I also noticed some danish available at the counter.
I love trying new coffee shops with friends. We chose Cafe Ollama this week and could not have been happier with our choice. It is smaller than I realized, but also very cozy. They have a small menu but all were explained to us by the young girl working. I saw they had a flight through Yelp pictures but was not on the menu so we asked. It was available and came with a hot and cold cafe ollama brew - plus you pick two. A few danish to pick from but they were tasty. My favorite was the Tia de Rosa - however I was not a fan of the dried flowers on top as they were not edible. We will be back and also recommend this place.
I love Cafe Ollama! I've never had a drink I didn't like here, and the menu has something for everyone. I personally love the Cafe de Olla...it's the perfect iced drink for a warm KC day!! The flavors are spot on and the whipped topping is the perfect touch. They also offer coffee flights at select times throughout the week! Service is always very friendly and the shop has lots of room to sit and chat with friends or get some work done. You won't regret stopping by.

The featured drink & most popular is the café de olla. Delicious style of coffee native to rural Mexico that's slowly brewed with canela, piloncillo and spices. Topped with salted sweet foam and a little cookie. Super tasty! Also offering coffee flights & Mexican pastries. Fast and friendly service Wonderful views and a sweet little patio area to feel like you're a part of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Everything in Cafe Ollama pays homage to their Mexican roots and culture. I can't wait to go back!
We stopped in today to get a coffee and we are glad we did! They have quality coffee and nice service. My husband had a hot caramel and vanilla latte with oat milk and I had an iced caramel latte with oat milk. Both were flavorful and quality espresso. My husband also had a cherry pastry but the bottom was burnt so he just ate the top section. This is a unique and artistic cafe with a calming ambience and South American music that was lively but just the right noise level.
This is a cute little coffee shop in the crossroads. Making some aweome coffee and has everything you need. They sell some pastries but if you are just looking for coffee then this is the place to be.
Got a couple of drinks off the May Special. Manzanita for my mom because she can't get enough of matcha and I got the Only Flans with caramelo sounded real good to me. Neither of us were disappointed. The Manzanita had the apple flavor but it wasn't too strong. I'd never had flan before and it was quite enjoyable, sweet and smooth. While I waited for our drinks got to play a game of pac-man on a mini gamer. Truly unexpected treat! read more
When we arrived they were extremely busy with the Caffeine Crawl. So our wait was a bit long. Then the saddest thing happened, someone took my drink. Which they tried to make right, but no longer had the ingredients available for the drink I ordered. They offered to replace my drink with whatever else I wanted. Then when it was ready they also gave me a coupon to use for a future visit. Very cool!! My replacement drink was absolutely delicious, so double forgiven. Ha The shop is such a cutie, with the paintings and plants. They do have outdoor seating, but this morning was still chilly so we stayed inside. read more
Cute staff, cute shop, and the vibes take me back to brasil. Their drinks have condensed milk in them so you know it's got a taste of brasil. The chatita was espresso with horchata and it was heavy on the espresso side. I haven't had this flavor profile before so it was a nice experience to swing by and taste. read more

I love this place, it is so cute and unique! I walked in and felt like I was transported into a cafe in Central America! It also has this feel like you're in someone's living room. It might actually be- I am not sure! My friend and I got the Cafe de Olla and it was delicious!!! I'm super picky about drinks and this was pure perfection! The young lady working was nice as can be as well. A couple complaints, though it still deserves 5 starts, it was very very hot in there and I was sweating. Also, it seems as though in the back is someone's home or another business because after I saw the young lady leave it was a ghost town around 10:30 or so. I felt like I had to do customer service when a few people walked in and asked if anyone is working. They need maybe a bell to ring for service? Or completely close if no one is working? I'll be back for sure when it's not quite as hot out. read more

This time, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and skip my usual matcha. Instead, I joined my boyfriend on the wild side and indulged in coffee. I am so glad I did! The coffee at Cafe Ollama was absolutely AMAZING. As someone who doesn't typically go for coffee, I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved it. The flavors were bursting with richness, and the unique blend was like nothing I've ever tasted before. It was smooth (not too strong which I LOVED) flavorful, and completely changed the way I feel and view coffee. Hands down, this might just be my favorite cup ever within the Kansas City area. I highly recommend to both coffee lovers and matcha fanatics, if you're looking to switch things up, please go and try Cafe Ollama! read more

Went to Ollama for a work event. Our team planned a morning of coffee and networking plus we got to hear from Cafe Ollama founder Leslie. I loved how much she talked about prioritizing this space being somewhere that you can truly connect with people. I don't drink coffee but they recommended a strawberry matcha drink that wasn't on the menu. I will definitely be back soon for more! read more

This small coffee shop feels so homey-like. Every time I visit, the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The drinks are unique in flavor and I often see them post new seasonal drinks which is a plus! I always recommend this place for a Mexican inspired cafe. What a cute coffee place! I had the Cafe De Olla iced with sweet foam and WOW!! Just wow!! The spices blended really well and the sweet foam really topped it off to perfection. I will definitely be back to try another specialty brew when the construction is gone. I also had a chocolate concha and it was a little too dry and crunchy for my liking so I think I will try another pastry on my next trip. Parking is extremely limited in this area and made even worse with the construction, but this place is totally worth the effort to try them! read more
I first learned about this coffee shop back in December, and I've already been there twice in the past month. They have such u unique flavors! The coffee shop sits in the crossroads right off Southwest Blvd and I-35. There is plenty of street parking in front and on the block. The space is in a historic building and has artwork on the walls. When I first went, I honestly wanted to try a little bit of everything because it's so unique. The flight is the way to go! The staff gave suggestions and even let me sample one. Two of my favorites had to be the La Tia Rosa a mazapán latte with peanut based candy steamed with oat milk. The second time I ordered the Abuelita Lupe with chocolate abuelita with steamed milk topped with foam. read more

Was super happy to try this coffee shop. The parking can be difficult with being on a busy street and with contruction right now but i easily found parking behind the building. I ordered the CDMX smog and it was suprising different from what I was expecting but still amazing. It was smooth, warm, and not overly sweet. I definitely want to try all their other drinks, especially the Tuesday coffee flights. It's a small shop so would not recommend working here however they do have wifi. Will be back! read more

Service was awesome and the vibes are cool, but $15 for a flight of tiny sample cups (mostly ice in the iced drinks) isn't cool. I get that they need to make mini versions of 4 drinks, but there are 2 drinks in the flight you can't change - hot and cold brew cafe de olla, and I wanted a little more variety in the flight. I found Cafe Ollama when looking for a coffee shop in town. I saw the fun coffee flight and knew I had to go. I didn't see any signs up advertising the flight so just ask! * COFFEE FLIGHT $14 to try a sample of 4 different coffees. It comes with Cafe de Olla hot and cold brew, and you get to pick the other 2 coffees you want. My picks were the Chatita and the La Tia Rosa. Surprisingly my favorite was the hot Cafe de Olla. The spices were so warming and cozy, paired nicely with the biscuit they gave. I thought the La Tia Rosa would be my favorite but it wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would have a heavy peanut flavor but I think the peanut flavor only came from the crushed peanuts on top. The Chatita consisted of espresso and horchata. I wish there was more horchata flavor but I thought the foam and churros on top were a great touch. As others have mentioned, the space is small and intimate so not the best place to camp out and work on your laptop. read more

A new coffee café on SW Blvd. Although lacking in size, Café Ollama makes up for it with a cool vibe and a very intriguing drink menu. Showcasing the Latin American neighborhood to it's west with ingredients such as Canella - cinnamon bark, Piloncillo - raw cane sugar, Horchata, Mexican Coca-Cola and salted foam to create artistic beverages that with the hip Hispanic art on the walls; showcase the Crossroads Arts District to their east. A perfect blending! My Chatita - a blend of espresso and Horchata on ice was a pleasant afternoon pick-me-up. A cool space with easy access, I just wish it was bigger, so I could have sat and enjoyed the art longer. read more
Cafe ollama is always so fun to visit as I've learned the story behind it. I always feel like it's such a special place! This weekend I brought our friend from Brazil and my husband from Bolivia and they loved the cultural ties. The flights were great. There were some unique options on the flight but the choco flan was by far our favorite. The ambiance is always a vibe with vibrant art from local artists and they have it decorated for Christmas now. The barista was busy but was great at attending to so many guests solo! read more

Great new addition to the crossroads. The flavors Ollama has you will not find anywhere else. They are fun, flavorful, and specifically unique to the Mexican owners' culture. They also are the only place I know that you can get a flight of coffee drinks. They pick two options for you, which I do wish I got to pick all 4. It was cold the day I went and I didn't want an iced coffee. The rotating menu makes me want to keep coming back. read more

Unique storefront with an intimate, local vibe and a cup of something different. My Cafe' de Olla - coffee slowly brewed with canela (cinnamon), piloncillo (unrefined whole cane sugar) and spices, topped with salted sweet foam and a little cookie was tasty and unexpected. You order at an interior window counter where, years ago, you could purchase tickets for the El Canejo bus line. Service was personal and friendly. I love having chocolate on busy work days, and Ollama had the perfect way to kick the morning off! I came by one morning and absolutely fell in love with the cafe! The walls are decorated with gorgeous paintings and pictures, and they also have a cute patio area. Located on Southwest Boulevard, it's also perfect for a little pick me up before hitting any of the Mexican restaurants nearby. I ordered the Chocoflan, which was available both hot and iced. Each sip felt like I was drinking straight chocolate. It was warm and cozy and thicker than your regular coffee, but still refreshing. I'm not normally a huge fan of the bitter coffee taste, but I easily downed all that caffeine through this drink. The chocolate concha was soft, sweet, and went perfectly with the coffee. I'm absolutely in love with this spot and will definitely be back!! read more
