Great service, great food and interesting dining rooms are what you find in any of the Cafe Patachou restaurants around town. This location is somewhat hidden, maybe only the locals know about it. The dining room is upscale. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. The restaurant is pretty loud but still inviting. Our server was fantastic. Didn't rush us, but was attentive and quite friendly. They have a self serve coffee bar in the back. I ordered the Cafe Cobb Patachou Salad. The portion was large with lots of fresh lettuce, avocado, bacon, chicken. The dressing was tangy and good. I loved this salad. There is parking out front. I'll be back.

Cafe Patachou is the perfect place to meet up with friends. The whole restaurant is filled with bright light and gives off a warm and cozy vibe. They have plenty of seating since they have an indoor/outdoor space with heaters as well. The food is always great here. I had the Patawich breakfast sandwich. It has sausage, cheese, and a pesto Mayo that was so good! It comes alone, though, so order a side if an English muffin sandwhich won't fill you up! The cinnamon toast is so good, but pretty buttery, so make sure you are in for a rich (almost) dessert when ordering! The best part about Patachou? The self-serve coffee bar They even have a rotating flavor of the day. It's been blueberry one time I went and this time it was snickerdoodle, YUM!

Dropped by Cafe Patachou for a nice brunch and I personally loved it. The vibes were great, very relaxed and intimate. We got to sit outside for brunch and I got to eat a salmon bagel (which was amazing btw) Our server was amazing and so friendly! Will definitely come here again.

A must try in Indy/surrounding areas. Patachou is a solid choice regardless of which location you visit! Every location is cute, clean and the staff is always happy! Pictured is their vegan sandwich option and their salmon salad. The dressing on the salad is more oil based so we decided to add more lemon, but that was just personal preference! Of course it is not a proper experience without an order of their fries and some of their fresh coffee!!

A real local gem in Carmel. I was here for a work meeting and enjoyed some great coffee and delicious food. I had the Cuban breakfast bowl with eggs on top and a side of cinnamon toast. The cinnamon toast was wonderful and very delicious. The Cuban bowl has the right mixture of chorizo, black beans, and rice. Vibe here was pretty modern and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Had lunch here on a Saturday. As expected, it was busy and there was a wait. We were seated inside after a 20-minute wait and our server was cordial. For lunch, we had the tuna salad sandwich on wheat with chips and a green goddess salad. All was fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed a lavender bubbly cocktail which I highly recommend. If you go here at a busy time of day, set your expectations for a hard-to-hear / hard-to-have a conversation experience. The good side of that is normalcy is starting to return!

Had a great experience at Cafe Patachou this afternoon! I took the brunch route and ordered the Avocado Toast, and my friend ordered the BLT. We both were satisfied with our meals and both loved the bread! It was definitely busy when we were there, as to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Our server wasn't super talkative or personable, but he was very efficient and brought us our food out quickly. I would definitely come back again to sit out on the patio at a less busy time.

We came for a late lunch and arrived 30 minutes before they closed so I was a little worried if we could get service or not. Our food was fresh and came out pretty fast. My wife loves the quinoa and the hamburger I got was pretty tasty. The ambiance is chill and the dress code is casual. This is my wife's favorite place to eat. She loves the healthy and veggie foods.

Came on a very busy Friday morning, got seated within five minutes. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very cozy interior. Pretty standard menu and pricing for a cafe. Order took quite a while, but overall service was good. Nothing spectacular about the food but it was good. Self serving coffee bar was neat, not too pricy, it gets calculated when they charge the bill. Tried the Banana Nut and it was quite nice. Probably wouldn't come again but not bad experience.

This place really has their act together. The wait is long on a busy Saturday - mid-morning - but for what we experienced, it was well worth it. While waiting we did order some coffees from their counter. Everyone around the table enjoyed their orders as they were all well-executed. My son and I shared the croissant French toast along with the omelette of the day which had chicken sausage and sun dried tomatoes. Both were very good. I was happy to find out they also serve alcohol and made a decent Bloody Mary.

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. We all agreed the desserts were scrumptious. We had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, service was brisk without a single thing being overlooked. I really had a great birthday dinner! Thank you!

The steak was cooked to perfection, and the duck breast was tender and flavorful. We also shared the lavender and wild berry cheesecake for dessert. It was a unique offering--the flavors were interesting, although it wasn't my personal favorite. My partner, however, enjoyed it quite a bit. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. My only complaint was the temperature inside the dining room. We dined indoors on a Saturday evening in mid-July when it was around 90 degrees outside, and the restaurant felt unusually warm and stuffy. I suspect there may have been an issue with the HVAC system, as there seemed to be very little air circulation. My partner was sweating throughout dinner. I'm usually someone who gets cold easily at restaurants and often brings a cardigan, so the fact that I found the temperature uncomfortable was surprising. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and would happily return, assuming the HVAC issue has been resolved.

I remembered taking a large group of colleagues visiting from India last June and having a really nice dinner and the menu had a variety of offerings to satisfy their dietary preferences. There is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant although we were able to find street parallel parking nearby and my mother and I enjoyed the walk on a beautiful summer evening. We were greeted by a kind and friendly hostess who was able to fit us in as this was an impromptu dinner for two without a reservation. Our server, Sabra M, was friendly, upbeat and very professional, and patient. We ordered a half portion of the Noble Chop salad at the recommendation of our server. It included bacon, egg, white cheddar, heirloom tomatoes with a buttermilk dressing. The salad was very enjoyable. On this Friday evening, we were treated to a wonderful bonus of live music that was set up in the bar section, but we had a nice vantage point from our table which was a comfortable c-shaped booth. As I recognized multiple songs the artist was playing on his guitar and singing songs I remembered from my youth ( (Ie., Alison by Elvis Costello, 99 Red Balloons-Neva, Everybody Wants to Rule the World- Tears for Fears). My mom ordered the Filet Sliders for her entree which were seared tenderloin with horseradish and arugula (she passed on the red pickled onion) . She's very tiny, so the portion size was fine. I ordered the scallops which came with angel hair pasta and Chef selected seasonal vegetables and sauce that was delicious. I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.
