We celebrated our wedding anniversary for a seafood feast... I personally enjoyed lots of crab legs more than the lobster. Their filet mignon slices and lamb chops were cooked perfectly - very tender, well seasoned, no after taste. They also serve sushi and have a hand roll bar to your liking.... Drinks (sodas, champagne) are unlimited.... I want to say we'll be back but it's a bit pricey so celebrating a very special occasion will do and well worth it! This restaurant was a selection by the wifey. She had looked at a few reviews and suggestions from friends. As this was a our wedding anniversary we wanted to try something new to eat out and enjoy a good dinner/meal to celebrate and with some cocktails. I so love the food and the endless selections for you taste buds. Not only was the seafood awesome and plentiful, but was replenished timely when it goes low due to customers enjoying it all. Our server "Mary" from Peru was the best. She jet the champagne coming for my wife a d for me the Modelo. She cleared our table once the tray for the seafood was full and made sure had clean napkins because all that food goes everywhere lol. The staff is very attentive and quick with bringing over drinks. They will fill up your glass very often. The food options are nice. I am not very into seafood but they do seem to have a variety of options for those that do like seafood. I tried the bone marrow, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac&cheese, egg Benedict, dumplings/potstickers, yellow rice, some of the sushi options, and a few dessert bites. I enjoyed most of what I tried but feel that the egg Benedict was very underwhelming, the yellow rice over by the sushi stand was also not very good. The bone marrow and green beans were very good! We went there 03/14/2025 for my son's 28th Birthday dinner. I had been wanting to check it out for a while, I was sure for $160 pp. it had to be fantastic? I had king crab, snow crab, and Dungeness crab and none of it tasted like crab, it tasted like water-soaked nothingness. I'm a crab lover and this was truly disappointing, it didn't even smell like crab. The whole lobster was okay but nothing spectacular, they have two kinds of butter, spicy something or other and garlic butter. Usually, seafood dipping butter has a hint of white pepper, not garlic. I'm sure had I said anything about the butter, someone would have made it like I wanted but I had already given up on the crab. I didn't try the shrimp, I did try the salmon dish, it had something very spicy on top of it, (honestly I would have expected smoked salmon, I don't think I have ever had bad smoked salmon). I then tried the prime rib, it was tender but not very flavorful, I tried a couple of their Asian dim sum type dishes, and I didn't see any dipping sauce, one was okay and the other lacked flavor. Moving on to the dessert (I originally thought I would be too full from crab for dessert) I tried the dish labeled cinnamon roll, (not like any cinnamon roll I have ever had) it was soggy, and the ice cream and the churro were the most interesting, not great but okay (keeping in mind I came for seafood, not dessert). For three people, it cost $200 pp by the time you add in tax, tip, and parking. I'm glad to have satisfied my curiosity, I won't be returning. I want to add, that the service was great, no complaints there, I am also not one to make a stink when I eat out, the people I would be complaining to aren't to blame for the food being sub-par and I try to avoid getting worked up like that, it was a Birthday celebration, it wasn't great but why ruin the mood too! Lastly, I admit there was a lot of food going to waste at our table, I did sneak a few pieces of various crabs out to take home to a feral cat I adopted from the pound recently, even the cat didn't eat it, it doesn't even smell like seafood, it smells like nothing. There is nothing seafood-ish about it except texture and appearance. Maybe it was an off night, but when all three crab offerings have the same issue, I tend to doubt it. We went here for our 4th year anniversary. This is probably the priciest dinner we've ever spent! Pretty Decent, I thought that I loved buffets, but now I'm starting to realize it's not really my thing anymore, I always feel terrible when I leave, cause I want to try everything and end up eating too much. Enough about me, lets talk about the food. Pretty much in the lobby of the Universal Hilton, I would advise getting here early when they first open for breakfast or dinner. Place gets packed and some of the lines get really long. The tables at this place are all jammed together, like almost one person wide (and you need to dodge the waiters) so it gets really hard to move once its full. They sit people in the outer bar area also but you still need to walk through the main crowd to get to the food. Went to the 150 dinner, it just ads AYCE Lobsters and King Crab to your choices. If you're into lobsters, most of them are a nice size, but if you end up with a small one, you can go back for as many as you want. The flavor was good, its just lobster to me. Personally I prefer King Crab over lobster, but my first go round, I got 2 legs and a claw. The legs where salty as hell almost inedible, the the claw was kinda nice. Hot tip, just ask for all claws when you get there, they will accommodate you. Oh and for the Lobster and Crab, you have to go to the seafood station for them to serve you. The Sushi station was pretty good, the sashimi was nice and fresh. The rest of the food was Meh, don't waist your time on the other stuff if you're paying that price. The boba station line gets crazy long. If AYCE is your thing, its worth a shot, I just don't think its my thing anymore. Quality over quantity for now on. read more

It's honestly a crime that an "all you can eat buffet" experience is condensed down to a 30-minute speedrun. *If you close the kitchen at 2:30, you should stop seating reservations at 1:30 at the latest* The food itself was pretty good. I really enjoyed the prime rib and seafood. The all-inclusive drinks is a pleasant treat. Again, my complaint with the food is related to the reservation fiasco--I wish I had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy the meal rather than merely eating to get my moneys worth. I was very happy with my visit. I've heard a lot about this place so I wanted to try it for myself. I'd tried other places like Bachanal in Vegas and I wasn't impressed, I've tried the Queen Mary brunch and it was good but I didn't feel like I got my money's worth specially with Bachanal, Cafe Siera though I think was definitely worth what I paid. It's located in the Hilton Hotel at Universal Studios right between the bar and the check in desk. It's not at first what you'd expect but it's really nice the tables, silverware, service is really great. They place a large tray on your table to put shells from the crabs, lobsters, oysters, scallops, and anything else you want to put in there. Every time you go up to get more food they've already cleared out the tray and put new napkins on the bottom of it and your used plates are usually gone. The food was really good, beer, wine, and champagne along with non alcoholic drinks are included with the meal, and I like how they keep everything freshly stocked including the lobster and king crab legs! The food was really good quality. I really liked the steamed lobster, cocktail shrimp, and rack of lamb. For those that love desserts they had a large assortment to choose from! From macaroons to cakes, fruit, pastries, chocolate contains, freshly made crepes with gummy bears made in house and an ice cream station! My daughters favorite out of the entire meal was the custom crepe they made for her, she couldn't stop taking about it! Pro tip with the lobster and crab, stick with either the steamed or chilled ones, the claws and king crab cooked in sauce and beating was messy and not as flavorful. Overall it's a bit pricey but compared to what I've paid at places like Maestro's, I would definitely come back here for special occasions! Service was excellent. Our waiter Javier was great. The food was mediocre at best. Prime rib lack flavor and was not tender. Short ribs had terrific flavor but again lacked tenderness. Best part of the buffet were the omelets, waffles and crab legs. The administrative fee of $49 on a $327 bill...while it maybe roughly equivalent to a 15% tip felt unnecessary. We came for our mom's 60th birthday for lunch on a Sunday. My parents love buffets and have not been to a fancier one. The service was awesome. Our server(I can't remember her name but I do remember she's from Taiwan!) was very attentive and patient with our nagging, i.e., storing the cake, more napkins, etc. she was also clearing our plates really fast which was nice to have space on the table to eat more. We made a reservation ahead of time, so we didn't have to wait at all. They welcomed us with a mimosa and took our drink orders right away. The food was meh. The crabs and prime rib (make sure you get the chimichurri sauce) were the best tasting out of all the selections. The lobster thermidor was a little disappointing, there was not a whole lot of flavor. The lobster claws in black bean sauce were overcooked. The oysters were not very fresh but that's to be expected. My dad loves bone marrow but wasn't a fan of the ones they had due to the meat having a sweet taste to it. Overall, food was okay, but it does seem overpriced ($95/person). The food at the Bacchanal Buffet in Caesar's Palace in Vegas tasted better. I would still come back for some sort of big celebration. The service and the live music they had did make our lunch feel special. The seafood stations were also constantly restocked and no one was pushing each other to get some, unlike Asian buffets. Went during NYE dinner time and was very underwhelmed by the food, service, and ambiance. We were seated and waited for 10 minutes for our server to take our drink orders, a Sprite and champagne. After getting our first round of food, we expected our drinks to be ready at the table, but alas, it wasn't. No big deal, it's busy with the holiday rush. I would think that it would come out by the time we were done with our first plate, but no, our server just disappeared for 15 minutes, forcing us to eat this salty food (more info on that) with no water or beverage. When I went to get my second plate, I finally found her standing by the drinks/bar area and asked her for our drinks. Throughout the night, I watched other tables get topped off on champagne, soda, etc. and felt envious of the level of service other people got because I felt like a beggar asking for our drinks. On to the food! The hot bar station pretty much overcooks everything, including the king crab legs and lobster. FYI the bone marrow is actually smothered in a mysterious bitter yellow sauce and shredded beef, leaving little bone marrow to enjoy. The cold bar seafood station felt unsanitary with the shrimp, oysters, and crab legs stacked on ice. They keep adding new food to the top so beware of picking food at the bottom, it could be old. The oysters were huge and had a weird brown color to it. I was already skeptical of the look but found the smallest one to try and regretted it immediately. Fishy, old, and pretty much ruined my appetite. So for over $200 per person, what did I like about the buffet? The saving grace for it was the dessert section, specifically the crème brûlée and crepe station. The lamb chop lollipops were decent and sashimi didn't taste super fishy which was a pleasant surprise. But are those things worth $200? Absolutely not. At a glance, it seems like they have a wide selection however their selection was limited. The lobster was good but for the crab legs- they were not as sweet as I had wanted it to be. I was looking forward on eating here. The pictures looked amazing and thought the food would amaze me. However, this was nothing but an overpriced and hipped buffet. The lobster was super chewy, the kind crab was bland and they only gave you two small legs at a time. I kid you not, the person sitting next to us only got the lobster and crab to eat. I'm glad to see that the food and service are excellent again. The executive chef, Edy, stopped by to visit our table. I told him that the softshell crab were the best I have ever had.
