I visited Single Fin today with three friends at lunchtime. The good: It's a cool place, great decor, and very friendly employees. The menu is extensive, with lots of fresh food options. Two of our group had omelettes with bacon and toast, and said they were very good. One friend and I had the islander tacos-- I'd never had jackfruit before and was amazed at how much it resembled chopped pork! The tacos were full of good, fresh stuff: peppers, onions, avocado, lettuce, and jackfruit. They were very flavorful, and made me feel like I was doing something good for my body just by eating them! The not-so-good: The bakery case was full of delicious-looking goodies. I got a slice of Mamaw's cake-- it was HUGE, but cost $10 after tax and credit card charge. I took it home to share with my husband, and I hate to say that we were disappointed with it. The texture was dry, and it had very little flavor. Even the icing, although plentiful, was tasteless. Really needed vanilla and salt in that recipe! It was full of beautiful pecans tho, so that helped a little. And finally, sorry to say the coffees were sub-par. We ordered three different versions, and agreed that they were all just slightly over lukewarm and not very strong. So while not perfect, I still give it 4 stars for friendly employees, fresh and unique food offerings, and cool vibes. We all agreed we'll go back again! read more

Great food, vibes and service! Went on a Saturday morning at 10a and it was busy but we were able to easily find a table for 5. The atmosphere is perfect for the area highlighting the beach culture. Lots of merch to check out. You order at the counter and food is brought to the table. We chose this place because of the many vegan options and non-vegan options as our group was a mix of eaters. We were here one year ago and we absolutely loved this little place. It's a great vibe, and the food and coffee were all very good. We are here today and it is an entirely different business altogether. While the vibe is still cool, the food is atrocious. The coffee was terrible, our vanilla flavored coffee drinks were all milk and tasted like no coffee whatsoever. We asked them to address it and they simply handed me a small cup of coffee to pour in ourselves, which watered down our iced coffee of course, and wasn't enough to salvage the hot coffee either. We threw them all away. The bacon was completely unreasonably burnt and atrocious. Nothing about this was a positive experience. $45 and we did not remotely enjoy our breakfast. Great pit stop on the way from New Orleans to Pensacola. I love having sweet and savory foods together. I got the Ala Moana bowl and paired it with steak tacos and it was the perfect combo! The açaí bowls come in a wide range of sizes. I really appreciate the keiki size so the fruit portion wasn't overwhelming. I do wish a better quality granola was used and that it came with honey and coconut. Overall, not a bad place for a meal. Their menu is pretty extensive with vegan/plant based options! Cafe single fin is a must stop on every trip we take to Pensacola. The food and their deserts are incredibly delicious! So many vegan options, it's hard to decide what to eat. I will say that I wasn't super impressed with their mask reinforcement while inside the restaurant. I know Florida is a kind of "do what you want" place, but I was happy to see a "mask mandatory" sign at the front door, but soon realized it wasn't reinforced whatsoever. Many customers and employees were walking around maskless. It was a bit disappointing, considering wearing a mask is about keeping other people safe- and those other people are patronizing your business. However, I believe stars are based on customer service (everyone is pleasant) and food. So I'm still giving 5 stars! We will be back, but to get takeout, and not to sit inside. read more

This place surprised me. While traveling to PCola back from the beach we were looking for a healthy option and found this spot. They have amazing fresh smoothies and delicious wraps. The seasoned chicken was so good I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. The inside vibes are awesome. They have a skate and surf apparel shop inside so it was nice to browse while I waited. They also have a half pipe in the back!!! I didn't go back there but could see them riding down the hall from the shop. So cool to have an indoor place like this for kids in the neighborhood. Will return here whenever I am back in Pensacola. Ordered the Kona which is supposed to have various fruit, peanut butter, etc. Paid almost $11 for the large which we were told was "huge" as we mentioned we were splitting one. Very small portion, not enough for two but took it and left. Only saw banana on top and thought maybe there is more under the top layer. Nope. No peanut butter, only banana inside. I enjoy the atmosphere here, it's a surf shop on the inside with fairly spacious eating area. You may be confused when you pull up but you're in the right place! They often have live music making it a fun place to hang (they also serve alcohol). Great vegan options for the Pensacola scene. Their desserts are great, vegan and non vegan options. You can't go wrong with the açaí bowls, and they are definitely picture worthy. The cheesy bread was SO good, which makes me think the pizza would be great. Also really enjoyed the guacamole.
