Ordered an iced coffee which they can make the vanilla flavored one sugar free and hot cappuccino (which was too hot but we added some milk to cool it down). Coffee was nice, not sweet at all and slightly more bitter than I'm used to. Also got two cookies, chocolate chips and it had macadamia nuts, oatmeal, and maybe coconut flakes. There is an array of pastries displayed such as cakes, brownies, scones, etc. They also have bottled drinks for a quick grab and go option. The only downside is the place is tiny, which is why it's a good grab and go place because the seating gets in the way of the register line. I noticed most customers are employees from the other stores and they tend to eat here or grab something to go. Since seating is limited, it's still nice to eat and stay for a bit. One of my friends has been telling about this gem hidden at the West Covina Plaza (I think thats what its called now??). It's located on the side closer to the West Covina Pkwy - by the Firestone building. You're able to walk in without entering the mall. They have a small patio seating area. The inside has a couple of tables and is cozy. They have a lot of panini's and breakfast items. I got three of the Original Breakfast Panini for me and my parents. After I placed my order, I noticed some signs with specials, so take a look to see if those sound good to you! There was a steady stream of customers coming in. There was a wait for my 3 panini's to be prepared. The place is small and needs better ventilation - with all the panini's being made, it gets kinda Smokey in there. Kinda like when you goto KBBQ and the stench gets on your clothes, its like that. The panini's were good, had lots of ham and bacon in them. Especially one of the males helping out at the register who asks customers how they are doing. I got a chipotle chicken panini and it was perfect. Not too salty. Good portions & protein-bread ratio. The iced hazelnut latte was delicious and I expected nothing less. It tasted as it should. The hazelnut flavor was there and it was creamy. You know they put light ice when you take that first sip and it's still a little lukewarm feeling, until you keep sipping and swirling it around then it cools down. I love my coffee with light ice and not loaded up with so much ice like some places do. My friend took that first sip of her caramel latte and she absolutely loved it!
