If you want bingsu, this place is the best place to get it. I especially love the mango and strawberry ones. Not only do they have bingsu, but they also have refreshing drinks. Like its cute earthy setting, a bit crowded though given its prime location. Desserts are quite interesting sometimes with Asian fusion. Tried Mocha cake roll with red bean. Super cute place with a lot so tables and open space to sit in. They have a lot of different options to choose from. I had the strawberry honey bread and a green tea latte. Both were delicious. I would definitely recommend sharing the honey bread as the portion size is pretty large. The green tea latte tasted great and was very refreshing but I think it is a little expensive for what it is. Unfortunate that I have to write this review cuz I really liked the atmosphere of this place. Today I went to caffe bene intending study and the wifi wasn't working. I saw another customer ask about it and my friend couldn't get it working either. When I went to speak with the manager, he asked to see my receipt which had the password on it (it felt a bit accusatory since I had just ordered a drink but ok, I get that they don't want people using wifi without making a purchase). He couldn't get it to work and I mentioned the fact that I think it's important for wifi to work in a coffee shop. He very rudely says "Oh a coffee shop without wifi! I don't know why people are always complaining, wifi isn't free!!!" First of all, what kind of customer service?? Second of all, I know it's not free, obviously I purchased a drink! That was just ridiculous and I'll take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

This is a very cute spot, and it's extremely convenient if you're a student nearby. It's kept very clean and has an inviting atmosphere, so it seems like it would be a good place to study. The coffee and other beverages are consistently good, and the staff is very friendly. The big drawback, however, is the food. I've tried a number of pastries and cakes because they look very enticing in the displays, but I have been disappointed on several occasions. The aesthetics are misleading, as none of the baked goods are very fresh. In fact, everything was quite stale, even when I stopped by first thing in the morning. Today the bananas on my honey bread were more than a little brown, so I don't think I'll be in again any time soon. I'd recommend stopping in for a latte but skipping the snacks. read more

Went there on a Monday near noon time and got the waffle with strawberry gelato and the creme brule with berries. When I got them I noticed that it wasn't gelato and that it was just regular strawberry ice cream. They should change the name but the waffle tasted great. Oh and if you ever wanna know what ass taste like try the creme brule. But other than that I would come back and get the waffle!! read more

The Honey Bread is so warm and fluffy I looove it, and the waffles are like crispy glazed on the outside and so fluffy on the inside and sweet... I could eat those every day if it wasn't so expensive lol Minus 1 star for really expensive, and minus another star because I really, really wish they could tone down the "Caffe Bene" song, like really, you don't need to promote the cafe INSIDE the cafe. It's really, really annoying, so if you're sensitive to that I really don't advise staying here for more than 30 minutes otherwise you'll go crazy Or maybe that's the point... to keep people moving. Took a taxi to find this place with my aunt, grandmother, and mom. Completely worthy it- we had the green tea bingsu and it was delicious. Definitely coming back to this place in Boston! The atmosphere is also very nice and cute, and the Kpop in the background is calming :3 read more

Love love love this place - I'm addicted to their pastries, the taro bun is my favorite. It's so different from other cafes that I've been to, and it's a cool hang out spot with lots of seating area. Wasn't a huge fan of the hot sandwich I got there - the whole sandwich was hot except for the chicken which still was cold/frozen. Caffébene is my go-to coffee house, whether in Boston or even New York! It was far from my first in Boston, but it's just a great environment with even better food. I loved their winter specialty coffees, but I'm never disappointed. The lighting and decor allows for great study sessions, and it's just so comfortable! There's a good amount of noise throughout the café, but I personally don't mind, and I can still hear the music too. It's always packed, yet you can somehow always snag a spot, and the staff is always kind. There are also a ton of outlets (hence why I knew to go here when I was in NYC)! It's easily accessible by both Symphony and Hynes Convention Center. read more

Ignoring the fact that the items on the food menu all seem somewhat similar (only partially because they're all equally terrible), they end up being a mix of flavors that don't work together.
