Great Breakfast cafe. Service with a smile. Staff engages its customers. Prices are reasonable. Family owned and operated. Coffee is great. Love the tin ceiling. Parking meters outside and very close. My son and I ordered the 46er Breakfast Special (see picture). I highly recommend this place. Sorry, but I never did notice if they serve lunch. We were pretty full from breakfast that lunch wasn't on our mind Call and ask for times. I've noticed some places close for an hour and then reopen later, so call. My family and I will revisit this spot on out next trip to Lake George Village.

Was a wonderful experience. Good food and professional service. Worth a visit. Also very busy. I think it's very popular.

Came here for breakfast and had a good experience overall. This cafe has a variety of seating including booths and high tops. Orders are placed at the counter before sitting down, and coffee was poured and handed to us before we sat down. Food was brought to our table though. I ordered the biscuit and gravy special which was good, and i really enjoyed the biscuits. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, and I'd likely come back here again.

Great local corner cafe. Breakfast menu, coffee and tea and bakery are fantastic and amazing unique choices. They easily accommodate changes to suit you. Service is friendly and fast. This place is situated on a the street corner and easy to get to. They have lots of seating and clean bathrooms. It may be somewhat loud but a fun place. A must stop when in Lake George

Really love this place and will be back to visit soon!! Great ice cream for great prices. I know right, coffee at a cafe? Genius! Lovedddddd the coffee! Roasted on site, couldn't get more local than that. I had it black and hot, but they are also known for their lattes. House made Kaiser rolls, baked treats, and bagels, like come on now! We had the Adirondacker, one on a roll, one on a bag, coffee scone and triple berry scone. Everything was heavenly!! Give them a visit!

Fantastic Breakfast Experience! My husband and I had a great breakfast here. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and comfortable -- perfect for a relaxing start to the morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. The food was delicious. The omelet (spicy jack) was fluffy and flavorful, paired perfectly with crispy hash browns and toast. The French toast was beautifully done. And I had the almond joy latte coffee, which came with the cutest latte art (a little bear!) that made the experience even more memorable :)

I've stoped here 3 days in a row while vacationing in Lake George, every time has been a great experience. The coffee is the real star of the show, but the breakfast sandwiches and bakery items are a close second! Staff are super friendly and the service was quick especially given how busy they were.

The not as good new sandwich

Kinda bummed. The second pic is the breakfast Sammie I got at Cafe Vero several times. Nice pastry croissant. The first pic is from their new location, this is a store bought croissant that seems to be similar to the new Dunkin croissant that was also disappointing. Please bring back the real deal! Coffee is still great'

The food is some of the best we've ever had and our breakfasts here were a highlight of our stay. The pastries are fresh and delicious but definitely don't skip out on the sit down meals here. The French toast and crepes were unreal and the potato's are delicious! The service was amazing, our waitresses were incredibly kind and created a very positive experience for us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with flowers on each table and was very clean. It has a very nice overall atmosphere.

However, our experience this morning was anything but good, and I'd actually say this was the worst breakfast I've had in years. I ordered what is called the Benedict Maddie which is their take on eggs Benedict. This is my go-to breakfast and their version was nearly inedible. From substituting the English muffin with a brioche bun that can't stand up to the moisture of the eggs and became a stodgy mess of sickly sweet pudding to the curdled and flavorless hollandaise that left me feeling sick afterward. Adding insult to injury was upcharging for ham that is a core ingredient of eggs Benedict. This was absurd given that already astounding prices they charge. Sides were potatoes which were okay, but it was also served with salad that I was suspect of given the current health issues with lettuce. My wife was equally disappointed with what was supposed to be a French omelette but turned out to be an overcooked, open face western omelette that was more like rubber than eggs. Her $9 blueberry smoothie was delicious though Service was slow with only two other tables occupied when we arrived, although our eventual server turned out to be quite pleasant. Coffee was never refilled and the bill for two people was just...well...arrogant. I guess this place really is French. The two stars are for the smoothie and our waiter. The rest is pretty forgettable.

This is a tragedy. And that is not a word I use lightly either…read more What kind of person buys a gem like Mrs. London's and doesn't take the time to learn the recipes, master the craft, and maintain the standards of what was once arguably the best boulangerie and patisserie in America? Seriously, there is someone here to blame. What is their name? I want to know. Sure, it's not a civil or criminal offense. But it's a crime against food. It's a crime against the people of Saratoga Springs. And it's just plane offensive. I regret if anyone was driven to try Mrs. London's based on my previous glowing reviews. I am so sorry. I had no idea. But I was just there this morning. I gazed into the pastry case at the croissants, and my heart sank. I felt sick. The croissants looked like something you would see in an airport. I think the croissants at Costco might be better. These were flat, flabby, and pale things. Far from the perfect, golden, flaky, structured, glistening beauties of the past. And this isn't about fond recollections. I have receipts. Photos from the past and pictures of the present. It's night and day. If the new owners aren't going to preserve Mrs. London's food, they should have the decency to put someone else's name on the joint. I too asked about the breads, and was told "their baker retired". Fortunately, Michael London taught other people to bake amazing artisan bread, and his legacy lives on elsewhere. Unfortunately, nobody at the shop bearing his name bothered to pick up the torch. What a shame. It is so sad. I am literally heart broken. This was one of my favorite bakeries in the country. I went out of my way to make a special stop in my limited time passing through the region. But I suppose nothing lasts forever, and this is a valuable reminder of that unfortunate fact. My days visiting Mrs. London's are over. I can no longer recommend it in good conscience. Perhaps the hot chocolate is still good, and the decor is still lovely. However, if you look closely at the glowing reviews, they all point back to a time that has now sadly passed.

Both the pecan pastry and the raspberry cheese danish were great! No complaints! Where this place falls right off the cliff is service. It's cold and rude. No if's ands or but's about it. And after my experience, I went and read all the reviews. This is a thing apparently. And to make it worse, the owner, instead of apologizing with humility and concern to the guests that keep him in business instead writes entitled zero accountability messages back to patrons after leaving bad reviews. Honestly that's immature and short sighted. The good will of the public doesn't last forever. But on the other hand, if you desperately miss the rudeness of Europe then this is truly the place for you!
