Edited: Haven't been here in a while and it looks like it's under new management. The outside is so much cuter now with the blue. Lady at the counter was nice when I asked her for a coffee recommendation. She did only mention at first they only had 2% but then someone they had almond, oat etc. so not sure which milk I really got! It would have been 5 stars but just noticed that the price is not accurate as advised on the menu board compared to the receipt. Couple of cents different but still should be advertised as what you get charged. I will say a few hours later, I've had some stomach issues and that had been the only thing I ate today. read more

Went there 2 days in a row. I have passed it by for over a year until my daughter wanted to drop in and have coffee. The hibiscus and ginger tea was so refreshing and the sandwiches we made with heart and soul. Very scrumptious. It was so good that I took my friend the next day and was not disappointed at all. Went in for a quick water and the lady who I'm assuming is the owner of the cafe was busier chit chatting with other customers, didn't greet us, ignored us for about 10 minutes and when she was ready to serve us, she didn't say anything just stand at the register and stare at me. Didn't even say you're welcome when I said thank you have a good day other than scowl which is funny cause you were just busy chopping it up while I waiting to pay for a water! Super rude interaction, definitely not how you run a business. My husband and I were visiting Hollywood and the business of LA after traveling here for a job interview. We stopped in for breakfast simply because the cafe was close to our hotel. Caffe hub is a serene hidden gem mere minutes away from the craziness of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The atmosphere in this cafe is a much needed pause from the loud city. It felt like walking into a lo-fi cafe. The service was great. The whole staff was friendly, accommodating, and was engaging in conversation with us about our travels. I was thoroughly impressed with the orange blossom latte! The sweetness paired well with the citrus! And the food was just as delicious I will definitely be back when I'm in the area next. We came in and the woman at the counter was great. We ordered a Mediterranean Salad. The salad was simply bad on all levels. Wilted lettuce, overdressed in creamy dressing that was supposed to citrus vinaigrette, extremely salty. I asked my husband to return it, citing that we didn't like the dressing (which we didn't). I didn't go into the rest. He went up to the counter and the cook began yelling at him and said to "look at the f**king menu next time". My husband is super passive and wasn't trying to cause trouble. We just wanted a refund because the salad wasn't good. Plain and simple. No reason to get cussed out. read more

I've come here since I started working nearby just a few months ago. Between that time it seems they've been under new ownership and I can tell the difference. One day I walked in and the menu was entirely remodeled and the spot looked cleaned up. It's also nearly entirely empty every time I stop by, which I think is due to its location being tucked in a corner. Which makes for a good quiet space for lunch. I've been met with nothing but kind service from the owner (who always welcomes me,) and the food staff / cashiers. The food staff usually bring my food to the table and check in occasionally. The setting is cafe vibes with soft music, and a clean minimalistic decor. The menu is breakfast, lunch, coffee and fresh-squeezed juice. I ordered a bagel egg & bacon sandwich. I typically also order their iced vanilla latte. Today I had a minor issue with my food and they took it back without any problem. My food was remade fresh, the issue was addressed and owner came up and shook my hand and introduced himself. Both him and the staff sincerely apologized. It was very nice and I was offered some OJ and a pastry on the house. I hope any businesses take note that this is the best practice for ensuring you have a returning customer. read more

The staff were very nice, but I witnessed each of them handling unclean items, and then directly making me food and drink without washing hands. The food was mediocre, and the coffee was really not that great. I liked the environment and the friendliness of the staff, but I would probably try to find a better place in the future. In response to the owner, I'll be more specific. The lady was smoking a cigarette and came inside to directly make my coffee. The man rang me up on the register, and went straight to the back to slice my English muffin for my sandwich. You can try to dismiss my honest review, but really I'll just double down. To get an "A" rating, you need to display "A" standards at the time the health inspector is present. I don't appreciate stupidity in the owner's response, so I'm taking this from 3 stars to 2. Also, lower the brightness on your LED window displays at night. They are so bright at night that you cannot even see what they are displaying. read more

Stopped by real quick for a cup of coffee, ended up having their signature chicken pesto sandwich as well, which was out of this world, coffee is the best that I've ever tasted, it's medium roast and does not taste like burnt coffee as some non coffee drinkers prefer. In town on vacation and stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was nearly empty, and the server was friendly and warm. She took our order quickly and the coffee was delicious. During our breakfast a man walked in asking to wash his hands. He had a guitar and was clean and dressed appropriately. The server told him he could wash his hands in the sink. He approached the sink and a middle-aged man bounded out of the back and started yelling at him. The man used hand jesters to shoo him out of the restaurant. All the while we were subjected to his tirade upon this person who wanted to wash his hands. He then turned to the server and yelled at her. The entire tirade took place right in front of our table while we were eating. Needless to say we left right afterwards. As we were leaving my friend saw a sign on their wall that said "Be Kind". The irony was not lost on either of us... The kind server followed us outside the restaurant and apologized for the interaction. We assured her that it was not her who had behaved inappropriately and perhaps she should take down the sign? read more
