Yes, I've been a customer from the beginning. Love that Caffe Vita is celebrating their 30th year in business! I've visited their cafes on Capitol Hill, and by KEXP/Seattle Center, and Fremont many times over three decades...can't believe just posting a Yelp shoutout for the Capitol Hill site. Love that they are able to carry that indie, hipster swagger but without attitude. Welcoming baristas and consistent mochas for me, whether iced or hot. I also enjoy a cookie with my bev once in awhile. I also buy their Theo blend beans from nearby grocery stores. However, I stopped in yesterday to buy a 12oz tin of their 30th Anniversary blend ($26, 10/25/25). Look forward to tasting those chocolate, blueberry, and praline notes when freshly ground and brewed. Congrats Caffe Vita for 30 years & all the best for many more!

Had a road trip to Seattle and found this beautiful coffee shop. The coffee was delicious and also the view. Didn't had to wait at all.

Wish I went here sooner. Perfect vibes. Staff was friendly when I zoned out a bit so I appreciate that. Great coffee. Wish I bought some to bring back

Disappointed by the rose & cardimom latte. I had high hopes based on a friend's recommendation. I can smell the cardomom when I first got the drink, and got a taste from the first 2 sips, and that was it. Also, the entire drink tasted diluted, not the rich coffee taste I was hoping for. Given there are so many cafes in the Cap Hill area, I likely won't come back. Inside is dimly lit, and had a outdated feel (hey maybe that's the vibe they are going for). Note this place has been a coffee roastery since 1995, so it is cool to see people roasting coffee in the back.

Expensive but pretty yummy coffee! Service was amazing and the cafe itself is as well. Seems like the perfect cozy little spot to get some work done. I had the seasonal Peppermint Mocha and it was pretty good. I would definitely try something interesting to drink, but heads up it is pretty pricey.

If a darker atmosphere is your vibe, Caffe Vita is the perfect spot for conversation or to work. The size of the shop was spacious with plenty of seating while still feeling cozy. There's enough chatter where you can have a conversation, but not too loud if you're trying to do some light work with headphones in. The decor felt a little grunge-y and the atmosphere was on the dimmer side. The mochas were delicious! The mudhoney mocha was rich in both coffee and mocha flavors, and wasn't too sweet. The campfire mocha tasted like hot chocolate with a hint of coffee flavor. The latte art was beautiful! Overall the cafe does a great job for its niche. Personally, I like working in brightly lit cafes, so I'll keep trying out different spots. But this is definitely one of my favorites so far!

I stopped by caffe vita because I was looking for a cafe in cap hill with wifi! I'm so glad I popped in here because they do have wifi - and with no password too. They had a really cozy atmosphere with low but warm light, and a good amount of seating. I ended up getting the 12oz cardi rose latte ($6) which was so pretty! I loved the pink dusting on top, but as for the taste, it was pretty underwhelming. I didn't taste much of either flavor, but this tends to happen with hot vs iced drinks. In my opinion, it's a pretty average cafe, but they do get points for having a cozy space! The staff were also friendly, we stayed until closing and they weren't rushing us out by any means. I also had to use the restroom at closing, and they saw I was headed in the direction and let me in on the code! Definitely stop by if you want to get work done in a lowkey space.

really nice ambiance and staff but for pricing coffee was only bare minimum , cortados milk steamed wrong way it was cold and too foamy , there was no flavor in the mocha... my coffee experience disappointed me here...

Macchiato is 'doppio' (a double shot)
    Jen W.

I notice in Seattle, an espresso equals a 'doppio' in Italy. That is, a double shot of espresso. This little shop makes a very nice espresso with a bold flavor. They also give you a small cup of sparkling water (fizzante) with your espresso. A very nice touch. Stand in line and order at the counter. They have a variety of merch items here to peruse as you wait your turn. A QR code is posted as you enter the door to view the menu. Place your order at the counter and pay, then step to the side to wait for the order. There is a large window wall at the sidewalk in the seating area making it nice an bright. Opposite the windows is a glass wall overlooking the roasting area. That's fun. Seating is an assortment of low and high tops with seats or stools and there are a good number of tables in the space. Everything seemed clean. Coffee is served in disposable cups and you bus your own table. There is one bathroom available near the order counter. Parking. . . street if you can find it, or paid lot. Happy caffeinating.

They clearly care about their image as they offer a free mug for first-time customers with an email sign-up. The drinks here are ok, but they average between $8-$10 each. I think the pricing is just much too high. You're paying for the vibes, not for a great cup of coffee. The matcha we tried was mediocre. There are so many other great places for coffee in Seattle, for just a fraction of the price. I think Storyville is preying on tourists visiting the market. They probably have to charge that much to keep the 8 employees milling about behind the counter employed. The space does have lots of seating, but it was nearly full during our early afternoon visit. Save your money, find another great local coffee spot!

I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

We ordered the matcha banana pudding and hojicha ginger tofu pudding lattes. Service took ~10 mins. The matcha banana pudding was yummy. The matcha was of good quality and the banana pudding top was a smooth, cream top that tasted just like banana pudding, with a fun crunch in the topping. The hojicha ginger tofu was a bit more adventurous in flavor. The ginger and tofu messed with my brain and made it feel like I was drinking a savory asian sauce/soup, but the drink was still sweet. I kept sipping, but the strange savory/sweet limbo never really balanced correctly to truly enjoy the drink. On the plus side, the silken tofu was fun to sip through the straw and added some protein. There is seating indoors, but the tables can fill up quickly. Some people were wfh, but most were chatting. There is 1 hr complimentary WiFi. Typical Seattle street parking. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed.
