My work got a to-go order for everyone and this was my first time trying cafe Zupas. I didn't place the order or pick it up so I can't speak to the place itself or accuracy of everyone's order. My order was correct and it seemed to arrive on time (lunch time). It was delicious and came with a side roll and lots of toppings for both the salad and the soup. The soup was still hot and flavorful with lots of chicken and veggies. The salad was incredibly fresh and cut to a smaller size than most other salads which was nice. All of their orders come with a chocolate strawberry which is such a nice and delicious touch! Highly recommend and I'd definitely get it again. read more

Date of visit: January 30, 2025 My friend really wanted to go here for our monthly lunch outing as she was excited about them coming to her neighborhood and was even more excited when I shared that I had never been to a Cafe Zupas before. The location definitely is new, everything still looks great but all of the kinks that people in the early reviews referenced don't seem to be there anymore, thanks y'all for taking that bullet so I didn't have to! I went with a Pick 2 combo of the Honey Bacon Club (quite good) and the Mushroom Bisque; I love bisques and I love mushrooms so this was a great combo all around for me! Add in the free piece of bread and chocolate-covered strawberry and I was sold! So why not five stars? At the soup station, they asked if I wanted crispy onions and I said no, but got them anyway... I think she was just used to chucking them on everyone's soup that muscle memory trumped my answer. I loathe to waste food and since I'm not allergic, I just dealt with the onions. Then the free bread was cold. Not room temp, cold like it just came out of the fridge. Glad they want to keep it fresh longer but it really didn't compliment my soup the way I wanted it to. I recently ordered a catered soup & sandwich package from Café Zupas for a nearby business lunch meeting. The online ordering process was very easy, and I appreciated being able to choose specific soup & sandwich options and customize details like having the spreads on the side. I did end up calling the location to clarify a couple of things. The staff member I spoke with was incredibly helpful and reassuring, making sure the order was correct and putting my mind at ease. The presentation and packaging were impressive, and all of the meeting attendees really enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and tasty! Went for the first time and placed a pick up order a few days ahead. Got there and my order was not ready and took another 25minutes until I got my food. It would've been faster to just show up and order. Additionally, the parking lot is horrendous. No matter where you park, you have to walk across the drive thru traffic to get to the doors. There's also no walkway from the parking facing Bluemound to get into the doors, you have to go around the grass to get in. Poor design job, whether Zupas or the shopping center that came up with it. The food was good at least and I'll inevitably go back. I just will not order ahead of time again as it was a headache. read more

There are some really great staff members here, some that know us and our orders well, and are super kind. However, we had a recent experience where a staff member was particularly rude to my husband and the customer service was downright bad. We have been regular customers since the Brookfield site opened. The last two times we ordered were less than stellar. In a recent pick up order, they gave us someone else's order and we did not notice until arriving home. Had to go all the way back to the restaurant to pick up correct order. This past week, pick order, the WI cauliflower soup was like orange water and had no flavor-inedible. The extra chicken in the protein bowl was paid for but not added. No strawberries in sack, either. I called and no person answered the phone so I left a message for the manager. It has been three days without a response from anyone. By far the worst service in the evening shift. They hire anyone . They use the same gloves to handle your food after handling money. The dine area is always dirty and food crumbs on the floor. Do not recommend. Go down the street to fresh fin Poké or sweetgreen at 4 corners. Ten times better. read more

The food was expensive and not worth the price. I asked for wild rice and got undercooked white rice. The chicken was flavorless, and it literally looked like Simone threw the ingredients in a bowl as the presentation was very underwhelming The service was good as the young girl at the window was friendly and positive. She was very polite as well. As I used the drive thru I cannot speak on what the inside was like. However being in the drive thru alone you could see the staff was very disjointed and appeared to be on different sheets of music so to speak. If you ever order with the app or go through the screen at the drive-through, and request butter, it rarely makes it to the bag. I have almost written a poor review for this place every single time I've come, but today is the day its getting sent..because my order is still not ready. I've come here a few times over the last couple months and my order has never once been ready when it says. As of now, it's 15 minutes past the time. The first issue is their website to order makes you double click 'order' so if you're unaware, the order doesn't get placed. One of the first few times that happened to me, the lady at the window said it happens more times than not. The food is alright but waiting 30+ minutes for something, when it's promised in 10-15 minutes, multiple times, is ridiculous. I order out a lot for lunch and most restaurants/fast food have it done in half the time. Each time I've ordered from here the wait is extremely long, even when ordering ahead, and because of the instance today I will most likely be late for my next appointment. The customer service needs to improve. Most of the workers were young and kind of rude. They just keep talking loud having a conversation across us. I placed an order but got skipped. They started to make my husband's food but not me. When I asked if that bowl was mine, he goes "oh no, it's his" pointing to my husband. Then told me he was going to make mine next. I was first in line though ‍ The food was so bland and expensive. Not worth it. My husband said he doesn't want to come here again. Picking up food here is always a nightmare. My mobile order confirmation says it would be ready at 11:57. At 11:57 the Employee at the window directed me to wait in the parking spaces. After 15 minutes of waiting I went inside, where I waited another 20 minutes. I asked 3 times for help people to check on my order and each time they just disappeared. Incredibly rude cashier and 20 minutes behind on a pickup order. My order was supposed to be ready at 6:30. I walk in at 6:35 and the lady tells me that it doesn't matter what time my order was supposed to be ready, it will still be about 15 minutes, and walked away. When I received my order they were missing my sandwich (one of the two things I ordered). She snatched the bag out of my hand and said "go sit down". Alas, I waited yet another 15 minutes. Disappointed by the lack of customer service when there is 12 people working (yes I counted) and only 3 other people waiting for an order. As much as I love the soup I will not come back to this store. Rude employees don't make up for halfway decent food. read more

Was really excited for this location. Food is usually good. However this location cannot get it together. I am legit in the drive through with ONE car ahead of me for the past 20 minutes. This location is just open so there will be some bugs to work out. Parking lot is kind of goofy and the drive through and take out system could be better. We ordered online for carry out. It took forever to get the food. Like I said, the pick up system needs work. This could be because they were busy and all the holiday traffic. I don't know. Employees need a sense of urgency. The food was great. Had the mushroom bisque. I could have eaten a quart of that no problem. Nice little extra was the chocolate dipped strawberry. I came to purchase lunch through the drive thru. The lady at the window said I was not allowed to place an order of food through her because their drive thru system was not working. What?! In what world can I not place an order at the window if your intercom isn't functional? I'm not looking to come inside and waste time in line when I already waited in a 10+ car long line outside. Ordered vegetarian sandwiches, both were made with chicken. We didn't bother to bring to staff's attention as they seemed indifferent to the level of service provided. The staff was made aware that the soda machine was out of diet soda, which they said they would care for but never did. I know this restaurant just opened but they have some serious logistical issues to work out. I placed an online order at 11:15 for pick up at noon at the drive-thru. I got in the mobile line at 12:00 and finally made it to the window at 12:25!! It is one lane only and so tight that there is no way you can exit the line or go around to park and go inside. A safety issue in my view!! They have no system for pulling ahead to wait for your order. Then I finally get to the window at 12:25 and my order isn't ready. I was so upset I asked for a refund in lieu of my food but no one came back to the window for another 5 min! Then my food was finally ready. Totally unacceptable!! read more

My mom and I stopped by Cafe Zupas in Brookfield last week right after it opened and it was delish! I had a bowl of the chicken enchilada soup and it was huge. I tried a sample of the cauliflower soup and it tasted great as well. Yummy roll and they even gave us a free chocolate covered strawberry. Not sure if that's just because they opened, but it was a nice touch. And the people were very nice. My mom had a bowl and hers was great too. I love that there was a drive thru as well. I hope this restaurant is successful! Definitely recommend. read more

Recently, I ordered a nourish bowl with wild rice. When I got to the window I was told that they were out of wild rice. Disappointing since they were still open for another 1.5 hours. When I got home, I opened the salad and noticed they forgot the sweet potatoes and roasted cauliflower, so my salad was greens, white rice, grapes and apples. For $14. I sent an email to corporate with a photo but have yet to hear back. I may try this location again, but it will definitely be a while. read more
