We checked in and were seated right away, and the setup was absolutely beautiful! They brought out our tea first, which we enjoyed while waiting for the pastry tower to arrive. Once it came out, they told us to eat from top to bottom, so that's exactly what we did! Each bite was delicious, everything tasted freshly baked and made, and I especially loved that the pastries weren't overly sweet. Although we enjoyed eating the tower from top to bottom, next time we would probably go from bottom to top since we like to save our sweets for last! Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. Everything looked and tasted so fresh, with that perfect flaky, crackly texture. The pastries are a little pricey for bakery items, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth it for the quality and freshness. Overall, we had such a lovely time celebrating my grandma's birthday here and would definitely come back for more pastries!

The cake itself was dry and hard: the texture was oh so wrong. I don't know if it was old, frozen for too long, or some odd ingredients? But for $65 for a small 6", it was very disappointing. We also got the small bisou and a small napoleon. Better than the cake, but still just ok.

Interior is very neutral/beige with the pops of color coming from some plants scattered inside the space. There's WiFi available and for 6pm on a Saturday, it was empty. We ordered two cakes: pandan raspberry and a tiramisu. Both were really well layered but it tasted like the tiramisu had far more cake layers than the pandan raspberry. The pandan raspberry was more raspberry with minimal pandan flavor. The tiramisu tasted just like its name and was great! Both were very lightly sweet cakes, and it was surprisingly easy for my friend and I to devour two slices and still feel ready for dinner later. I wouldn't get the pandan raspberry again, but would be willing to try other slices with how the tiramisu was. The downside is the cakes are pricey. And it feels the interior can't decide if it's trying to be minimal on purpose, or the furnishings were meant for a smaller space/grab-and-go only spot originally but then they moved to a larger location with seating. Good cakes, I would consider swinging by here to pick up a slice for a special occasion.

While my family enjoyed all the items, I really enjoyed the black sesame studded puffy rolls that I think were made with rice flour. There was a large group of older Asian ladies, including one who brought their lap dog, enjoying good conversations in their native language with their baked goods and tea or coffee. My finacee and I have been doing a lot of cake shopping and have been to a lot of the south bay wedding cake shops and none even came close the the wonderful service and delicious cake we had here. The lady that helped us really helped us work through our ideas and designs, We had seen Cero and his cakes featured on TV, and he also sat down and helped with some design suggestions. We choose 3 different flavors for the three layers of our cake. The burnt almond, chocolate raspberry, and red velvet were all moist and full flavor. And they are going to trade a free 1st anniversary cake for a photo of our wedding cake. My brothers wife and her family had recommended we try them, her mother used them for her 25th, 40th and 50th wedding anniversaries, and she had gotten her wedding cake and all her kids birthday cakes from them and we can understand why. They love what they do and it shows. We had thought they were a bit pricey but not after shopping around and getting some other quotes. It did take a little phone tag to set up our tasting appointment but they were really quick at returning emails. They made the wedding cake the best part of our wedding planning. read more

We went here for a wedding cake tasting.. prior to going, I asked about cake prices.. apparently, I didn't ask enough questions because there were so many extra fees, e.g., $150 for our simple design of hat boxes, $150 to cover the cake with white chocolate fondant, and $90 set up and delivery charge (to San Francisco).. anyhow, all in all, our specialty cake request would have been over $1200 for our 150 person, 3-tier cake. They had a lot of choices too - we sampled about 8 slices of cake. When we went in to pick up the cake it was beautiful. The design far exceeded our expectations. Nicole did reach out 2 days later with the pricing and I was ready to place my order and get the ball rolling. NO RESPONSE. I dm again asking for a cake flavor listing so I can finalize the order and process whatever cost that is needed. AGAIN, CRICKETS! I am forced to reach out yet again on 9/30 asking if she was going to be able to make the cake adding that important details and payment had not yet been able to be finalized. At that point I finally get a response. The entire process of working with this baker is just more stressful than it should. An email was sent to confirm cake info and the filling listed was incorrect. Then 2 days prior to pick up, I have to message Nicole again about an address as to where I need to pick up my order. She then sends another revised email. Cake- My husband was left with the job of picking up the cake since I have an infant to attend to. He comes home with a cake that is nice BUT NOT WHAT I ORDERED. The drip design was nowhere to be found. At this point, I question whether or not the cake & the filling is even correct. I am super let down by what was delivered, even after all the detailed discussion with Nicole. I have dm'd her through IG & sent her texts regarding my disappointment so we'll see how that goes. I'll update my review if/when I hear back from someone regarding this matter.

My virtual baby shower was boba themed so my friend sent a picture of one of the graphics my sister made for me for the baby shower as inspiration for the boba cake. The cake (picture attached) looked just like the graphic and was perfect! I liked that she used an actual boba straw for the top and that it was very detailed and cute. Everyone who was able to see it online thought it was a perfect boba cake. For flavorings, my friend and husband chose the lemon with raspberry (I think) filling. It was one of the hottest days in the Silicon Valley (over 100 degrees) but the cake kept fine in the car and sitting out. The cake itself was moist, not too sweet and had the right amount of lemon flavoring. The raspberry part was also very good. Overall, no complaints about the texture or flavor of the cake. I'm not the hugest fan of fondant so I'm not the best judge but the overall icing was fine as well. Overall, very impressed with the style, design and execution of the cake. The flavor was also good!

I asked her to mimic this exact cookie for my wedding, and just change the name. I paid the high price because I loved the cookie she showed off on her website so much. On the right side is what I received! The Temu version of the cookie. It's embarrassing and I am so upset I don't even want to use them. I drove 3 hours to get these cookies the day before my wedding, and got completely ripped off. It looks terrible, like a child made them. It's not like this was a rush order, I placed it so far in advance, so there is no excuse for the poor artwork. I'm now out $700 now with nothing to provide as a wedding favor, and no time to get something else. I also tried to message her, the phone number does not have messaging access. Don't make the same mistake I did. Part 2: Responding to the owners response. The reference image came from YOUR OWN website, advertised as what you can make from YOUR OWN PORTFOLIO (i even attached another screenshot) with proof. So to promise me you can mimic exactly a cookie in your portfolio, and then give me hand-painted gold, purple, pink colors (not the rose gold we discussed and that you advertised you can make on your website in the reference photo), is garbage and so upsetting. It wasn't like I chose a random pinterest image, this is your own portfolio of work you advertise and agreed to remake. This is why I feel so scammed.

Both the strawberries and the cake truly shined and the cake had just the right amount of sweetness, while the taste and aroma of the strawberries enhanced the overall richness of the cake. I doubt it would have worked nearly as well if the strawberries had been too tart or the cake overly sweet. Plus, it was so incredibly soft that even after a full dinner it went down effortlessly; it was practically addictive!

This one is more traditional with chocolate flavored sponge case and very light cream between the rolled cake layers. In terms of presentation, the cake is top level, and quality and taste match the presentation beautifully. I look forward to trying other offerings in the near future. Right now Le Cake is just an online order operation with random pickup location (no storefront). I picked up the cake in a church parking lot in Saratoga. The lady who makes and delivers is very nice, and you can tell she is passionate about her creations. It will be no surprise to me when she opens a brick and mortar store very soon. In the meantime, I will certainly keep ordering online and picking up in the church parking lot.
