Good morning Midus, Thank you so much for helping me…read more The kindness you have shown me to help me get my new brakes done and giving me a discount coupon. Letting me sit in your lobby while you did the work. I have shared with everyone I know about how great the service. And I sent them all your awards that was awesome to see. Just thank you very much. Surgery in August Got estimates on future repairs I will do things in increments When I got home I was so grateful Rose sharing To all my friends Just wanted to share Midus in Seaside Lots of Awards on the wall and so transparent on all prices on the board So many people were repeat customers They were happy It was a very busy Saturday I have brought my old vehicles there before. I don't own anymore just my Solstice that I haven't driven that needs repairs Will be taking it to Midus F-150, Solstice GXP and Grand Jeep Cherokee that I don't have now. They never seen my F-250 before But I got to see many customers come and go and get their vehicles fixed. I have decided no more Dealerships I like it at Midus! They are totally detailed oriented, honest! You get all the photos on your phone after Diagnosis what your parts look like no secrets nothing hidden or guested. It's great So transparent and they explain in detail And they found things my Dealership didn't even tell me about, including lights out. That's so important lights so you don't get pulled over. I showed my friends and family how transparent you are I don't get that anywhere Got my new Brakes with. "Lifetime Warranty" You can't beat that warranty other place only a year. I had a 3:15pm Oil Change appointment for my car, and I was 5 min. early. An oil change takes 20…read moreminutes. I know this because I have been changing my own engine oil my entire life. 1) Remove the drain plug. 2) Remove old filter. 3) Install new filter. 4) Replace drain plug. 5) Add new engine oil. That is ALL it takes. As a matter of company policy, they provide a very time-consuming safety inspection. It can take up to an extra hour! Knowing this, I respectfully waived the inspection, as my wife was waiting to be picked up from her office after work at 4pm. It should have worked out fine. They told me "NO", the safety inspection was mandatory. That is like you placing a food order, and asking for no onions on your burger, and them telling you it's company policy to add onions, and your request is denied. How would THAT make you feel? I sat in their lobby for TWO HOURS! I was out the door at 5:10pm and my poor wife sat in her office for over an hour past her clock out time. That infuriated me. Sullivan's Auto does not value your time and they do not respect your wishes. Their company policy safety inspection is nothing more than an attempt to up sell you with additional parts and labor. On a previous visit to Sullivan's Auto, they requested my home address for their computer records. I declined to reveal my personal data to them. They told me, "It is California state law to have the home address of customers", and they demanded my address again. I immediately conducted my own research and discovered there was no such law. They lied to my face to get my personal data. I will never return to this disreputable business again and I emphatically suggest that you don't either.

    Wayside Garage - Brake repair

Outstanding Experience…read more I recently took my 2016 F-150 with 100,000 miles to Wayside Garage for its 100K service, and I could not be more impressed with the experience. From the very beginning, Jacob was fantastic. The night before I brought the truck in, he called, went over everything with me, had pricing ready, and made sure we were all on the same page. Once I dropped it off, they performed a thorough inspection, sent me the results, called me to discuss everything, and were completely upfront about the recommendations and costs. We were even able to negotiate the work that made the most sense for me. What really stood out was how they handled an oil leak I had noticed. After the initial repair, the leak unfortunately returned. I brought it back, and they found another issue, explained that it hadn't been something they could have reasonably identified during the original inspection, covered the labor, and sent me on my way. When the leak happened again, they ultimately determined it was a manufacturer-related issue. They took care of my truck, provided me with a loaner, worked through the warranty process, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. When I picked it up, Jacob even showed me the old part and explained what had happened, including the difficulty they had encountered with Ford no longer manufacturing the valve covers for my 5.0 Coyote for that model year. That's the kind of service you hope to find in a repair shop. Things happen, especially with a 100,000-mile vehicle, but what matters is how a shop handles those situations. Wayside was professional, honest, transparent, communicative, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. This truck means a lot to me. I plan on keeping it forever and eventually passing it down to my kids, so finding a shop I can trust with it is extremely important to me. I honestly could not recommend Wayside Garage more. And if you need someone to take care of your vehicle, ask for Jacob. He was awesome from start to finish.

Called... I said hey can you give me a rough estimate on a tranny for 2012 GMC?…read more Response: no you gotta bring it in, so we can make sure it's the tranny. Me: but I know it's the tranny and I want it replaced, can you just tell me a rough estimate? Response: no, we really want to make sure before we give out and estimate. Mother and law brings in her car, charge her $800+ to "make sure " it's the transmission. Guess what? It was the transmission. $16k!!! For a 2012 transmission out the door. Nope! This is Thievery to me...
