You can order from mild, medium, to hot and medium is what I would consider the sweet spot to enjoying a pizza that's a nice kick of spice and not overtly making you run to the fridge for milk. I've must've tried at nearly 5 different toppings so far and all has been spectacular in taste and quality. They also make the traditional combination pizza and other Italian American toppings you would traditionally see at other pizza restaurants but I'm not even sure if I would want to try them. I'm sure they're also as good but in my opinion, why would you? There's so much more flavor in the Indian pizzas. And if you're craving a side, make sure you get the Cali style breadstick, which is basically their take on a garlic cheese bread made on pizza dough. The garlic and herbs they put inside is amazing and it's about the size of a medium pizza so it's very generous. And best of all, the price here is not bad; a large pizza is for 25.99 but it's packed and thick. Setting off the place is small and located in a small shopping plaza next to UPS, and the staff there are very friendly. Of the times I've stopped by, it was generally a bit empty though so I do hope business is doing well at other hours. Cali Pizza is one of those unknown pizza spots you probably wouldn't have noticed that you must give a try. From their Indian pizzas to their traditional pizzas, you'll get an excellent (and filling) pizza to enjoy. The spicy Hawaiian is actually so good and both sides of crust is good n crunchy on the edges! My wife, son, and I came by here tonight, since we were in the area. We actually live in Walnut Creek. This place was amazing. It's small, but there is plenty of seating. Booths fit about a family of four to five people and there are I believe there were five or six. We ordered and the food came out in about 15 mins. We ordered a Plain cheese, a Chicken Tikka masala and a Alfredo chicken pizza. All were absolutely amazing with the chicken tikka masala being the best of the three. But really all were extremely good. So good in fact, we are sad that they aren't out in Walnut Creek! We were discussing if they were good enough to make the drive out here for pizza from Walnut Creek and came to the conclusion that yes we would actually drive all the way down here to eat the pizza. Picked up two pizzas. Standard pepperoni and one tikka masala. They cook their pizzas so much the cheese is hardened and brown and the crust seems stale and chewy. Darkest pizza we've seen that's cooked one minute away from being considered burnt. Both pizzas were also extremely salty that we couldn't eat more than 2 small slices. On top of that, the tiniest ranch costs $1 each. Not sure if it we came on a bad day but I would never come here again.
