I'm a huge fan of Indian food, and @calisocial.us absolutely delivers. Right in the heart of @pacific.beach ,it's the perfect spot for delicious food and an amazing vibe. And did I mention it's women-owned? The owner is incredibly creative and ambitious, always bringing fresh, exciting ideas to the table.

Amazing!! Food was incredible and service was top notch. We ordered the samosas, butter naan, and chicken coconut curry and everything was wonderful. The food was extra hot and fresh & the sauces were to die for. Our server Mohit was very friendly and attentive and everything came out at a perfect time. Parking was somewhat easy to find on the street (during a weekday) and the bathrooms were super clean. Ambiance was nice and calming. Prices were also so reasonable considering the large portion sizes. Personally for me, my entree is worth 2 meals. Will defintely be back to try more!

We were so delighted to find a new place in the old World Curry location. Cali Social has curry bowls too, but so much more. They have such a unique variety of Indian-fusion and international cuisine, including salads, pastas, sandwiches and kebab. They have plenty of vegetarian and halal options too, along with tasty mocktails. We love how they've transformed the space into something so bright and airy, opening up into Garnet to watch the world go by. They are all about creating a space for groups to gather and feel at home. We tried: Spicy Guava Margarita Mocktail Moscow Mule Mocktail Mango Lassi Chicken Tikka Burger Lamb Chops Keema Naan Creamy Tomato Soup Chicken Korma Curry Rice Bowl VIRAL Chilli Oil Onion Pasta Kush -Fu - Salad Churros with Chocolate Sauce Biting into the lamb chops only one word came to mind - succulent. SO juicy and tender, seasoned perfectly and not gamy at all. The chicken sandwich was on a nice soft bun with a nice crunchy pop of onions. The keema naan is stuffed with minced meat, and it was so nice to dip in both the soup and the curry. The salad was epic - it's loaded up with creamy avocado, protein-packed chickpeas, cucumbers, olives and more for a pleasant contrast in flavors and textures. My latest craving though is the chilli oil onion pasta. It comes meatless, but you can add chicken or shrimp for an extra fee. Honestly I loved it without meat, as the al-dente spaghetti held the spicy tomato & chili oil sauce with finely chopped onions perfectly for a burst of flavor in every single bite. The owner was there when we went, and she was so sweet and friendly. She explained all the dishes and made recommendations for us. You can really tell how passionate she is about creating a welcoming space with quality, healthy comfort food. We'll definitely go back to try more.

Lovely north Indian style food. 5 out of 5 to the pasta, which is the first time I've had this authentic, buttery pasta. Soup was an intriguing manchow soup, but with dumplings instead of the usual Manchurian balls. Chicken korma was nice as well. They don't charge extra for chicken if you order at the restaurant. On DD they do. Ordered for takeout so can't comment on the ambience. Street parking available in front. Please see picture for the food

The coconut curry was delicious, we loved how attentive the workers were. They also gave us ideas on what appetizers to get. The samosas hit the spot!

Just visited this awesome new spot in Pacific Beach and had one of the best meals in a while! The watermelon salad was super refreshing -- sweet, crisp, and perfectly balanced with tangy dressing. Their sandwiches were next-level -- fresh ingredients, flavorful bread, and big enough to satisfy without feeling heavy. I also loved the naan and curry -- warm, comforting, and packed with rich spices that weren't too overpowering. It's clear the kitchen knows what they're doing. Drinks here are excellent too, especially if you're skipping alcohol -- creative non-alcoholic beverages that actually have personality and flavor (not just plain juices or sodas). Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a new favorite in PB -- can't wait to come back and try more from the menu!

The steak and chicken kebabs were cooked to order and were incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, they're in the top three kebabs I've ever had anywhere. Even the salad deserves a mention. I had it completely plain with no dressing, and it was fresh, crisp, and flavorful enough that it didn't need anything added. The service matched the food. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The entire experience felt effortless. I'll absolutely be back, and if you're looking for exceptionally well-prepared kebabs, this place deserves a visit.

If I had to choose one, I prefer the potato Bolani. The portion size for the Bolani is massive so you will be eating it over the course of several meals! I've tried a bunch of their kabobs, and this time I got the chicken kabob with an extra skewer. The chicken is pretty juicy. My favorite one is actually the beef kabob, so I would recommend that one if you were only trying one type of kabob!

I got the flatbread wrap as a pita sandwich this time with chicken tika since it's what the guy behind the counter recommended. The pita was fluffy, slightly toasted, and flavorful. There's 4 sauces you can have with your meal but you don't really need it since there so much flavor to the pita (or plate if you order one). There's last time I was here, I ordered the flatbread tortilla wrap and that was delicious as well. It's much larger than the pita sandwich for $1 more. There is no bathroom here but I am told that you can go to Handel's to use theirs. I would removed 1/2 a star for that but the food is tasty enough to overlook it. There is a television on one side of the wall and 80s rock music playing in the background (great track if you ask me). They offer catering as well.

We were initially aiming for the crispy shawarma however only Mira Mesa and La Mesa does it. So I guess that's next on our list! The wraps were unexpectedly big! Not really an ambience since there's not much as far as a dining room. There are a couple of cocktail tables where you could eat. After ordering online at 20:20pm, my estimated pick up time was 8:39pm and got the order at 9:03pm. The cashier informed me their chicken is taking a while and added extra time to the wait. It probably would've been faster if they weren't so backed up. I ordered the Wagyu beef and chicken shawarma plate for me and my wife to share. I added 3 falafels and pita bread on top of it. The food was still fresh when I got home 15 mins later. Everything was good and just enough for us two. Also, I'm not sure why there's a range of where they may be located on Yelp since this is just a food truck that seems to be permanent at this location.
