Gobi Manchurian! Perfectly crispy on the outside & tender on the inside
    Aina S.

The staff is so attentive & kind! We frequent this restaurant almost weekly. My mom is an incredible cook & very picky about Indian food. So when I tell you this is the one place she doesn't say no to, that's saying something. They inherited a Thai restaurant that was a neighborhood staple for about 15 years. I think some of the earlier reviews need to take that into consideration. With that said, they have fully renovated the space! It's beautiful & modern. Definitely give it a try. The chicken tikka masala is delicious, the naan is always buttery & fresh & the gobi manchurian is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I do wish they would make their mango lassi in house, but it's not a big deal at all.

Really loved my first experience here! The chicken vindaloo was EXCELLENT, the veggie samosa, the basmati rice and the poppadum also. The interior is very airy with high ceilings and it has a nice vibe. Can't wait to return.

The restaurant itself had a great ambiance to it, tint lights adorning the ceiling like stars in the sky. Lentil bread called papadums are complimentary, and comes with spicy green sauce and tamarind. I got the butter chicken. Wasn't to my expectations, as I had a few pieces of chicken with cartilage still attached that I had to spit out. The sauce wasn't as flavorful as I hoped either. It tasted rather bland. But I loved the basmati rice and naan. Service was very fast and friendly.

Unreal! Chicken korma and extremely generous side of garlic naan. Everything came piping hot and delicious

This place is delicious! We tried basic dishes , tandoori chicken, chicken Marsala and butter chicken, garlic naan and kheer for dessert . Everything was so good, the sauces were perfect , naan was so amazing we had to get two ! We actually came back the next day because it was so good. The restaurant is clean, nice ambiance and friendly staff . Highly recommend

Another fantastic lunch. One of my favorite Indian curry destinations in the area. They seem to have done an interior refresh since I was here last. It's lovely inside. Very clean and spacious. The food is really delicious. Excellent butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. The Naan is heavenly, so light and tasty. Generous lunch specials for around $20, still! Service was nice. Big portions, very fair prices, comforting and yummy food.

Stumbled upon this place going for a walk and holy smokes--this is a great Indian food spot. The service was friendly and fast, and the spread we got on their lunch menu was fantastic, as well as very well priced. The butter chicken was great but the chicken tikka stole the show. Tikka had the better cuts of chicken and the curry was phenomenal. Paired that up with garlic naan and rice and it really turned around the whole day. Can't say enough good things about this spot.

We came in because of the glowing 5-star reviews, but found that it fell short of expectations. The lunch specials are a good deal at around $20, and you get rice and naan with the main course. I opted for the chicken vindaloo, and my bf got the chicken tikka masala. We also ordered a side of veggie samosas to start. The samosas were okay, a bit dry and cold. I would not order it again. The chicken vindaloo was bland, and there were some weird pieces of chicken in terms of texture. I didn't finish it and didn't take the leftovers home. The naan was probably the best part of the meal. There was an annoying fly that kept buzzing around our table the entire meal, which was gross and made the meal less enjoyable. The waiter was friendly and the service was pleasant. Overall, the food was a 2, and the service was a 4, so 3 stars. Free parking in the plaza lot.

Finally tried this place! Food was plentiful! Often Indian restaurants can be pricey with small dishes and this restaurant had nicer portions. Tried the Butter chicken, paneer & daal, all delicious!! The lamb biryani was very tasty but was a tad too salty for me but again, good portion of yummy lamb! The garlic naan was great but would skip the chicken stuffed naan as it was a bit dry. Wish they had a lamb stuffed Naan instead would help with the moisture. Will definitely go back to try more dishes. Service was wonderful and polite. Got more crowded as the evening wore on, since we had an earlier dinner. Glad they're doing well!! Nice decor too! Bar looked nicely stocked though I'm not a big drinker.

This place has become such a staple for me. The flavor always hits and the portions are huge, bringing me home at least 2 days of leftovers. You also get complimentary papadam and chutney while you wait. There's plenty of space in the restaurant and never a wait when I go during dinner time. There's parking in the lot but street parking is never difficult.

I came here in a group of 3 on a Friday night around 6:40pm, we had no reservation but were seated immediately and it wasn't busy at all! If you are a vegetarian, this is definitely a good place for you - every single food option had a vegetarian equivalent. Also, the food portions are HUGE, perfect for groups and we even ended up with two boxes of leftovers still. This was *not* my first time having Indian food and I am certainly no stranger to curry. I felt that the curry had a bit toooo much butter/oil. It didn't sit well and triggered a lot of acid reflux for all of us. I really enjoyed the vegetable biryani, it was VERY flavorful. I wish the garlic naan was a little bit softer all around, the edges were pretty crispy and it sort of broke off into the curry like chips. We ordered another naan that was filled with potatoes and that was really good - I think when I paired it with the curry, it helped soak up the oily parts of the curry. The mango lassi was pretty good, not overly sweet at all. The vegetarian falafel curry dish was OK. You could realllyyyyy taste that it was falafel - since we had a vegetarian in our group, I didn't eat much of that dish. It was very very quiet in there. I'm not sure if there was music playing but if there was then the volume was very low. I think the silence of the place stood out because we were 1 of 3 groups in there. As a group of 3, we spent around $90 in total (no including tip). There was street parking and a small parking lot at the business as well.

This place is so good. The butter chicken was amazing, as was the garlic naan (I also really liked the green sauce that paired with it). The staff was really attentive and it had a cozy ambiance inside as we dined. I would definitely go back.

Delicious and authentic Indian food…read more My friend and I were seated quickly and our order was taken. Food was brought as it was ready. They forgot to bring the paneer dish we ordered but once we asked about it, they made sure to get it to us quickly and with a new basket of warm naan. The mango lassi was amazing. I absolutely loved the paneer butter masala and garlic naan. I will be coming back for those. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the veggie samosas had a nice crunch. Lots of families come here to eat. This is a completely vegetarian restaurant…read more I came here to get their spinach masala dosa because I love my spinach masala dosa from my favorite South Indian restaurant near home and I REALLY wanted to try someone else's version. We soon found out that their dosas are not gluten free. This was a really big bummer. But...good to know for anyone who is gluten free. They do put wheat flour into their dosas. We changed our order to two vegetables dishes. We ordered Bhindi (okra) fry and Saag Aloo (creamy puréed spinach with potatoes. My husband ordered a chili garlic naan. Both dishes came with a hearty amount of basmati rice. While we waited for our food, I noticed the restaurant was full of Indian people and a sprinkling of other people (including me) which I think is always a good sign when I'm ordering Indian food. True to my observation...Annapurna did not disappoint. The saag aloo was perfectly spiced and flavored and I really enjoyed the meal. The Bhindi was also very good. My only complaint is that the leftovers for the Bhindi were rather sparse! So overall i think they did a good job. I was disappointed about the glutinous dosas -- i called to double check and my favorite dosa place back home does not have gluten in its dosas. So key is always ask and don't assume there's no gluten. Even though i couldn't have the dosa, i still really enjoyed my meal. I didn't dock any points for the lack of gluten free dosa batter because my food was still very good and I felt like i wasn't missing anything. The service was very good. I want to give a shout out to Rush who was our waiter and was very helpful throughout the night. Parking lot was full. We found side street parking fairly easy.

We ordered takeout and were pleasantly surprised by how cheap the order came out to be (thinking that Abhiruchi just got set up on the app and was offering discounts to entice potential customers). However, I was underwhelmed by the food. The butter chicken was delicious -- well seasoned and not *too* overwhelmingly buttery/creamy. Gobi manchurian was also superb, but the batter was a little heavy so the cauliflower didn't maintain it's crispiness when it arrived at my place. I was most excited for the gutti vankaya (eggplant curry), but it was bland. The garlic naan was limp and flavorless as well. Disappointing.

The combination of friendship and delicious dishes delivered by Almost famous was soul-warming. Metered street parking only unfortunately, but service at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous, patient, and were happy to go through the menu and make recommendations. You can tell they take pride in their dishes offered. They will check-in enough to ensure everything with the dining experience is going well, but not too frequently to impede on privacy. They have a breakfast/lunch (brunch) menu that they serve from 8am up until 2pm and a dinner menu that is available from 11am to 2pm & 5pm to 9:30pm. 1. Ginger & Cardamom Chai Latte (5/5) House-made chai with ginger and cardamom. If you like herbal spices, this drink was comforting and warming. It's not sweet, which I like and it paired well with the food dishes. 2. Crab Bhuna (4.75/5) Crab meat simmered in fragrant spices then topped with ginger, fennel seed, and curry leaves. It is served with soft, subtly sweet banana buns The crab meat was fresh and honestly, you couldn't even tell it's crab. It's seasoned perfectly with the aromatic Indian spices. The banana buns were interesting ... it was a bit on the dry side, but if you stuffed the airy pockets of the bun with the crab meat, it's not too bad. The banana bun had an interesting flavor profile; a mix of sweet-bitterness to it. 3. Sweet Potato Chaat (5/5) One of my favorite dishes here. It is sweet potato chunks mixed with a sauce blend of sweet corn, yogurt, tamarind, mint chutney and pomegranate. The sauce was light, refreshing, and tangy, balancing the natural sweetness of the sweet potato perfectly. 4. Brunch Dosa Rice & Lentil Crepe (4.75/5) Basically think of a crepe, but a super large size one. I just love their crepe - it was crispy yet doughy with a cheesy flavor. The crepe was stuffed with turmeric mashed potatoes. I typically do not like mash potatoes, but when it's served this way, I approve. The dish comes with a side of 3 sauces - sambar (lentil-based vegetable curry that's often seasoned with coriander seeds, cumin, fenugreek, dry red chilies), curry, coconut and tomato chutney. A perfect dish for sharing and for trying out the various flavors of Indian cuisine. 5. Wagyu Beef Keema Kulcha (4.5/5) Minced Wagyu beef that's seasoned well with aromatic spices and onion inside an Indian leavened flat bread. Highly recommend and will be back to try out other dishes!
