I had a misfortune encounter with a hit and run driver who attempted to parallel park and used the front end of my car as their guide. Once they gave to my car real good they took off like The Flash. Obviously, they must have forgotten their paper and pen and did not leave a note. The insurance sent me to Caliber and Mauro took care of all the arrangements and estimates. My car was done in a timely manner once the insurance got themselves together. My car was put back together again. Everything went smoothly. My car was nice and shiny again when I picked her up. They open early at 7:30 and close at 5:30. They help facilitate car rental pick up and drop off which made it easy. The establishment is clean and staff is friendly. Candy and coffee 2 of my favorite things are offered along with cold water. They play old school The Price Is Right on their TV with episodes made before I was born. Someone backed into my front bumper while I was parked and appeared to just damage the license plate and license plate bracket. Junior was extremely helpful. I had a fender bender. It was a hit and run, someone sideswiped me. My insurance sent me to this body shop and I'm glad they did. This was one of the greatest experience and always kept me updated and always answered any questions I had. The quality of the work is amazing. They really talked to me and explained everything that was getting done on my car from what parts they were using to calibrating all the sensors. Every time I had questions, I called back and never felt like I bothered them. They were always there to answer everything I asked. From now on this is my go to body shop. Chris was very friendly and always answered my questions. They had to replace my driver side headlight, and it had a LED turn sign bulb that I installed myself and without hesitation when I asked them, they swapped it to the new headlight, other body shops would not do that and say they need to leave it the way it comes from factory. I was even worried about if they were able to match the paint because it's a special paint from Lexus and they got it spot on. Couldn't even tell the car has been in an accident. Without hesitation, I would recommend this place from now on to anyone that I know that is looking for a body shop after an accident. Zero Star for a bad / incomplete repair, and zero for customer service: 1- Poorly fitted replaced rear bumper cover, not aligned with the wheel arch on either side by 3mm, and not flush with the quarter panel on the right side; despite the fact that they charged to change not only the bumper cover, but also everything behind it. 2- The color painted on the replaced bumper cover is off and poorly match the original paint on quarter panels and rear gate. 3- Front bumper cover does not fit in the fender as it should, it looks the same as before the repair, and it seems it was never taken off to replace its support, they also charged to do that. 4- Warning lights for Airbag, Skid control, and ABS still on. I was assured by "Jonathan" that these major safety issues will be "taken care of; it is known to be caused by rear end collision in Toyotas". Assuring their ability to Fix these safety issues was the main reason I went with Caliber Collision; as other Body shops I visited before have advised that this should be handled by Toyota dealer to recalibrate and reset the affected sensors. However, as I later found out, all Caliber Collision did was erasing the Fault code(s) without doing any repairs or calibrations. An email sent to Caliber Collision regarding this major safety issue was never answered. I was brushed off by customer service when I drove back to the shop. "Jonathan" claimed that they "do not have the capability to fix it, and this has to go to a specialist at extra charges that has to be approved by the insurance company" i.e. I have to file for another claim. 5- For the cost of close to $5000, one expects a superior workmanship and customer service.
