Liad came to my home to take measurements, offered thoughtful design suggestions, and several of his ideas became my favorite features in the finished kitchen. They guided me through multiple revisions without ever making me feel rushed and were always available to answer questions. They also recommended both my cabinet installer and countertop fabricator, and both were outstanding. Having trusted referrals made the entire remodeling process so much easier. Their pricing was fair and the personalized service, design expertise, and attention to detail were worth every penny. They transformed my small 1980's kitchen into a beautiful, functional space that feels so much larger and has truly become the heart of our home. It has added tremendous value to my house, and every time I walk into the kitchen, it makes me smile. Unfortunately, things began to fall apart shortly before finalizing my cabinet order. My final renderings were never properly completed. One entire room was missing from the plans, and major updates that were requested - including switching from frameless to framed cabinets (which affects cabinet sizing) - were never reflected in the drawings. It became very difficult to get in touch with anyone to finalize the order or receive updated plans. Eventually I went into the store in person, where Liad offered to "fix and finalize" everything on the spot. He manually drew out the new layout and entered the order on his phone, assuring us he was taking care of everything. However, no formal layout, purchase order, item list, cabinet sizes, or updated renderings were ever provided. I was told we could rely on the existing renderings and that getting formal updates from the designers would take too long. After paying, we heard nothing until my contractor informed me that cabinet boxes were being delivered. The delivery arrived without any paperwork, purchase order, or layout for my contractor and cabinet installer to reference. Once installation began, we discovered multiple issues: missing items, incorrect cabinet sizes, missing panels, and accessories that were the wrong size. Trying to resolve these problems was extremely frustrating. It was again difficult to reach Liad until we went back into the store. He repeatedly asked us to provide a list of what needed to be fixed, but that was difficult because we were never given a purchase order or layout showing what was actually ordered. What stood out most was the change in demeanor. Conversations that were initially helpful became defensive and dismissive. At one point he even questioned whether our installers "knew what they were doing," and suggested modifying cabinets to make incorrectly sized accessories fit instead of addressing the ordering mistakes. At this point I have had to purchase replacement panels, shelves, and accessories out of pocket from another cabinet store just to keep the project moving. Both my contractor and cabinet installer -- as well as staff at the other cabinet supplier -- were shocked by the experience and confirmed that this is not how a cabinet ordering process should work. My advice if you choose to work with this company is to triple-check everything and get all documentation in writing before paying. Make sure you receive final drawings, a purchase order, item numbers, and cabinet dimensions. It's unfortunate to have such a stressful experience during what should be an exciting part of a home remodel. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. There are many other cabinet suppliers that provide clearer communication and proper documentation.

I hired them to install a waterfall-style counter back in June 2021. Barely a year later, the waterfall cracked for no clear reason. They came out again in July 2022 to repair it, but the job was subpar. I noticed that between the waterfall backing and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't flush at all. Which I'm assuming that it allowed the water fall to slide inward more than 90 degrees, thus putting strain at the joint. But I am not a professional installer. It took them until August 22, 2022, to actually address this crack and I was assured the issue wouldn't happen again, however nothing was done to fill the gap with sub board to prevent inward movement of the granite. Unfortunately, it did again crack. A third crack appeared on April 22, 2023. I reached out multiple times via email and phone, only to be completely ignored. No callbacks, no emails, nothing from their receptionist or customer service team. Then, in May 2025 -- the worst-case scenario happened -- the waterfall slab literally fell off the counter. It nearly injured my child, grazing his arm as it collapsed. This wasn't just poor workmanship; it was dangerous. I've given them multiple chances over the years to make this right, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone if this is still their current practice and to avoid at all costs.

I got recommendation to Terence by our interior designer Peggy Dupuis to review some Italian mosaic for our spa. We never met before, so I asked Terence if it's possible to meet on weekend, because I'm working every day and driving from OC to La Jolla is pretty time consuming. They are not working, but he agreed to meet in person on any day of the weekend to accommodate our request! When we came in he was prepared with all materials we pre-selected (through internet photos), he helped me check them outside (under sun) and inside in low light. Presented different alternative options, but we finally decided on the same brand (Bisazza, Italy) but 2 different colors. He then gave us 2 packages of these small tiles, since my wife was not able to drive to La Jolla. Which made our decision process (especially for my wife, you know women are very picky to all that stuff :) ) much easier. I'm very happy with Terence and can recommend Tuo Sogno to someone who is looking for premium materials along with Great Attention to your needs, details, concerns, ideas, likes, disliked and other stuff you have :) Terence - thank you for meeting me on Saturday, we got your tiles (Bisazza) which is way better in person than on the picture!

I had a very disappointing experience with Shugarman's Bath Company…read more I first met their representatives at a local festival, where they advertised that they would provide a completely free bathroom design if I agreed to a home consultation and listened to their sales presentation. I specifically explained that I was interested in a full bathroom remodel, not just a shower replacement. Based on those representations, I agreed to schedule an appointment. When the salesperson arrived at my home, I was surprised to learn that the company only focuses on showers and does not provide complete bathroom remodels or custom bathroom designs as I had been led to believe. Despite realizing early in the appointment that their services did not match what I was looking for, I still sat through the sales presentation because I understood the salesperson was giving up his time to be there. The presentation lasted approximately an hour and a half. At the end, I was given a very expensive proposal, but no picture of how the shower would look like. When I followed up and requested to receive a picture of how the of the shower would look like as I was promised, I was told that they do not provide designs and that I should simply look at photos on their website (this statement came directly from Mr. Jones who was the lead design team. This was completely different from what was presented to me when I agreed to the appointment. I felt the advertising was misleading and that the primary goal was simply to get a salesperson into my home rather than provide the service that had been promised. I was also told that I could receive a discount if I left a positive review, which made me question the authenticity of some of the company's online reviews. Additionally, I was offered what was presented as a "free vacation" if I agreed to move forward with their proposal. However, as the details were explained, it became apparent that this was not truly a free vacation but rather a promotional offer tied to a timeshare-style presentation. This felt like another example of marketing that was not fully transparent upfront. Throughout the appointment, I felt significant pressure to decide on the spot. The overall experience reminded me of a high-pressure car dealership sales environment, where the focus seemed to be on getting a signed contract rather than understanding my needs and providing the services that had originally been promised. I believe companies should be transparent about the services they offer and should honor the commitments made to potential customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Had my floors installed back in 2021. We picked out LVP. The person of contact did not communicate…read moreduring the install. That was the first problem. Second problem is they have been back every year since the install to correct the floor underneath which was not done properly. In fact the first year they came out the guy said they did a shitty job. Nice to hear from the store that their service was shitty. The floors had about a one inch movement up and down. So the second year another spot did the same thing. They came out and ripped it up a second time. Problem came back the next year in a different spot all within about a ten to twelve foot area. Each year a new spot and another ripping up of the floor. We had new baseboards installed through out the house and after 5 years and promises that the missing piece in the master bath would be done, it still isn't. Even this past summer the head guy said he was embarrassed that it wasn't done. But Guess what? Still not done. Plus all the installed baseboards have small little metal nail hole throughout as they didn't even cover them and paint over them. They look horrible. We recently had our upstairs done by a different company and I looked at Village carpets email from 2021 to get the color of our downstairs LVP. Turns out they changed the color on a different email without noting it and we ordered over 1000 sq ft of the incorrect color. This cost me over $3000 because they had changed color. Lost the price of the floors and labor as I noticed it was wrong after half the upstairs hallway was installed. Then had to look through past emails to find out the problem was that I was sent two different emails with two different floor colors. I have left messages for owner which are ignored. Crazy way to run a business.

We did our research…read morefirst and shopped a few different companies, but we ended up going with IZ Flooring due to their fabulous reviews and because of how quickly and professionally they responded. First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! We highly recommend this team for high quality products, professional treatment and advice, and an impressive installation experience.

While I understand the need for flexibility in scheduling, I was disappointed by the lack of communication within the promised timeframe. Despite their assurance of providing updates within 24 hours of notification, I did not receive any communication. This lack of follow-through compounded the frustration, particularly as I had made arrangements to accommodate the original appointment. Subsequently, after reaching out to the company 24 hours post-notification without any resolution, I opted to cancel my entire order. As a business owner myself, I place a high value on customer service and expect the same from the companies I engage with. Effective communication and timely updates are fundamental in fostering trust and satisfaction among clientele. My husband and I were advised to check out California Crafted Marble, Inc. by a perspective cabinet maker. We visited the showroom and were impressed with the variety of products. At that time; we met Jill Throckmorton. We worked with Jill through the process of getting countertops for two bathrooms and a niche in our hall linen closet. She was so helpful and pleasant. We met several times to look at material and visit the remnant yard. She was very thorough, paid attention to detail, and had excellent communication and follow-up. The time schedule she proposed went exactly as planned. Inaddition, Kevin produced a beautiful digital layout. And Gerado was very pleasant as well and promptly corrected a small issue on install. The installers were profession and tidy. Any follow up needed, Jill responded and resolved quickly. My wife and I worked through Dixieline to get our cabinets and quartz counter tops installed. California Crafted Marble did the counter tops. CCM installed the counter tops but we had a couple of issues that needed correction. CCM admitted their mistake, graciously I might add Jordan, the owner, came to our home to inspect what was needed. They came back and fixed the problem which included a new quartz counter top for the sink area and now we are completely satisfied. They even upgrade our counter top and gave us a remnant piece that we can incorporate into our splash guard. How many companies do that? Not many I assure you! When everything goes well it's easy to write a favorable review but if it doesn't and the company steps up and makes it right that's when the true colors of a company comes out. We recently called upon CCM to help us with a remodel of our vacation rental home in Mission Beach. Our contractor initially met with Dean to review the new shower surround. Because we were on a very tight construction schedule before our first summer guests arrived, Dean helped us choose a perfect pattern that he had precast so that the installers, Cliff and Steve, could cut them to fit onsite as soon as we were ready for them. Their work was very professionally done. We also needed a buffet top and a lav top fabricated and installed along with another granite top reworked and reset in the powder room. Matt and David did those installations beautifully as well. Working with our tight timeframe, the only concern we had was that we didn't have one "point" person with whom to confirm the work schedule. They did, however, come through for us in a timely manner, everyone was very courteous and it all looks great! read more

As a follow-up, California Crafted Marble has continued to provide my company with excellent service and quality products for my clients kitchens and baths countertops. They just installed another kitchen and did a superior job with making sure that the seams were perfectly aligned and the veining in the pattern of the quartz was evenly matched up. On installation day, CCM's install team was very courteous and did a great job! I am very happy with the end result of the finished kitchen countertop and plan to use them for the bathrooms as well. There was one time when I needed some assistance with an urgent situation in needing a countertop installed by a certain date. I give CCM's response time thumbs up. I recently remodeled our two bathrooms, keeping only the existing vanity cabinets. Since the sizes were custom, my wife and I looked around and found California Crafted Marble (CCM). The staff was helpful, and the showroom was very nice. We found exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price. They came to our house to measure, and the tops were finished very quickly. We had CCM install quartz tops in our bathroom and vanity which were beautifully done. Installation went without a problem and done on time. We were so pleased with their work that we had them completely demo and replace the tub and shower surround with a custom marble mix that matched our new quartz tops. When water damaged required removal of 40 yr old tile, we replaced the shower/tub surround with cultured marble. Love the product. It is not the old marble found in older homes! We had one issue about 3 weeks after installation, but it was taken care of quickly and professionally. Be aware - they recommend special cleaning products and no cleanser, spray foams, etc. read more

I purchased a remnant for my bathroom and the way the granite was cut showed off the lines that I fell in love with. They were even able to call me before I had to meet them at my house to measure and install so I didn't have to take any more time off work than necessary. California Crafted Marble installed both the marble walls and the class shower panel and doors. Did a fantastic job. One wall was so large they thought they had to install it in two marble pieces. But the installers found a way to do it with one big sheet of marble. It looks great! Thank you for a job well done. read more

my granite kitchen and 3 bathrooms look great . they (ccm) are expensive, but they did a great job. the installers miguel and aurelio get 5 stars. they are the best. trustworthy as well. caution!!!!!! sales never told me the 2 slabs will be opposite each other. they mislead. so does arizona tile. read more

The installers were great and paid close to attention to detail. Their account manager Crystal…read moreseemed competent (no longer with the company) and attentive to the project. The big problem was the sink cutout was wrong. We have an undermount sink and wanted the counter to hang over the top of it (called negative reveal) about a 1/4 inch. This look was the whole reason we chose white counters with a black sink. They walked through the reveal options with us and put our choice to overhang in the contract but it wasn't what we ended up with. The sink cutout was flush on 2 sides and about a 1/16 inch over on the other 2 sides. So not only was it not the agreed upon cut but an uneven cut that we get to look at daily. Rather than taking accountability, they are blaming the sink manufacturer for having incorrect specs. This is hard to believe given the widespread issues a manufacturer would have if their CAD specs were off. The sink gets great reviews with no mention of install inaccuracies. http://www.kraususa.com/31-inch-undermount-single-bowl-black-onyx-granite-kitchen-sink.html They did offer to make all sides flush while also discouraging it, saying it's real messy and a big process. We never wanted it flush, so we chose against that anyway. At this point, the only thing we can think of is they chose the wrong sink when they were choosing the CAD template. If that was the case, they could then point us to the sink that will actually fit and that may solve the problem. The problem is they're sticking to their story that the manufacturer's CAD drawing was probably wrong. For installs like this, paying attention to detail is big but mistakes can happen. Not admitting to the mistake, is the reason we're giving others a heads up.
