Ordered the beef bibimpap (with my birthday $10 off offer) and the staff was so sweet to include a birthday note!

Food is delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly. They have a lot of options including quite a few meat-alternative choices, although Ive never tried these. Definitely going back to try more of their food.

i am really glad i decided to give this place a try. shoutout to the lovely beautiful girlie with such a soft attitude who helped me build my bowl together. it was my first time here & i was a bit conflicted on what to get. the girlie who helped me was so informative & and answered my questions without hesitation. i decided to build my own bowl. so my order is : i got the half & half base of brown rice & yakisoba noodles. the base was really good. the rice was a tiny bit dry but it's okay. the noodles was really good! for the protein base i got myself the Korean hot chicken. i enjoyed it, nicely seasoned however, it was a tiny bit dry & not that 'hot' as i thought it would be. my toppings were : - fried egg - steamed broccoli & shredded carrots - avocado then my sauces i asked for was the chili sauce and teriyaki. the fried egg was such a great choice of topping. the broccoli was nicely steamed. overall, the bowl was really good & fulfilling. great place to go to for lunch.

This place is a hidden gem in LA Chef's. This is my to go place for lunch breaks. MJ is outstanding when it comes to customer service. She always greets the customers with a smile, makes suggestions and takes her time to listen to special requests. Food is good, I usually get the chicken teriyaki bowl which doesn't disappoint. It's always fresh and tastes good. There is a dinning area. This is my go to spot for a quick lunch so I can I'll be back for sure.

I walked to LA Chefs Kitchen in search of Lumpia. I didn't see what I was looking for so I took to the instagram page of the food hall itself. While scrolling down the feed I stumbled onto a KKB burger! It practically reached out from the page and grabbed me! So I walked right over and made it a double. For those of you who look down on the simplicity of perfectly cooked and salted French fries, stop. These fries were crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside. I am usually not much of a ketchup person but today it was perfect. The star of today however was this double (I added a patty) KKB Burger. The lawyers of flavors and textures fused seamlessly. If you're someone who is in a rush please skip this place altogether because if you don't understand good food takes time you will ruin the vibe. Take your impatience down the Mc Donald's.

Really enjoyed this Teriyaki Bowl! This storefront is one of the food vendors located in the new LA Chef's Kitchens food hall in Panorama City. First off, I loved that this popped up as there's not too many good quick lunch options in Panorama City but now with the food hall there are plenty to choose from. Great option for take out lunch, Calis Teriyaki offers make-your-own Teriyaki bowls, almost like the Japanese version of Chipotle. You start with picking your rice and protein, then you can add different fillings like broccoli, mushrooms, onions, etc., different toppings like green onions and sesame seeds, and then you can pick up to 2 sauces for your bowl. It's fun if you go with a friend or partner because then you can mix and match the different sauces! We tried the regular teriyaki sauce, the bulgogi sauce, the sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. The whole experience was very fun and very delicious. I will definitely be coming back regularly for lunch. It's a food hall so not a huge amount of ambience but I feel it is more of a take out kind've stand. The food came out quick and fresh. The cashier was very friendly. I enjoyed all the bright flavors and sauces and the chicken itself had good flavor as well.

I just ordered from there and I am super pissed. I spent 46 bucks and the food was barely even half way in the bowl worst portions AND it didn't taste good either!!!Will never eat here again waste of money DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

We tried the buffalo wings & a beef bulgogi bowl. The wings had a nice crispness to them & had a nice amount of sauce. They weren't super spicy but had a good kick to them. The bulgogi bowl was also really good & well seasoned. Only complaint is that a handful of the toppings are an extra charge so it can get a little pricey if you want to add a lot to your bowl. But overall good food & good service!

Great food seasonings will order again. The teriyaki bowl for instance had this taste of sweet tangy honey with orange.

I had a Flashback Friday moment when I drove by this location. My brain quickly got nostalgic with fond images and feel-good vibes and I knew I had to stop by. My mom brought me to Pioneer Chicken when I was a child and I remember how crispy the chicken used to be. Sometimes, leftovers made it into my lunchbox. She knew how to win my heart through my belly even back then. I haven't had Pioneer Chicken since the early 90s, and I was pleasantly surprised when I dug my teeth into the drumstick. It was super crisp -- exactly how I remembered it. And the iconic orange batter was the same yummy recipe, possibly crispier than KFC's. The biscuit was my next favorite and I don't remember it being THIS good with its hint of honey flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy have not changed, but the coleslaw was a tad different. It used to be chopped into mini squares. Now it's shredded cabbage, but it has the same light mayo flavor. Also, I love that they use less plastic Their side item containers are made of paper, both top and bottom, which also adds to the retro vibe. Loved looking at the old school photos on the wall that date back to the 1960s with Pioneer Pete, The Flintstones, and Muhammad Ali, aka the OG "G.O.A.T". It was cool to learn that Jessica, who took my order at the register, was part of a bigger franchise history. Her dad owned this location, and passed it on to his son. Family-owned for the last 38 years, this location is one of the originals. And one of the last two still standing. The nostalgia of this place will always have a special place in my heart. I'll have to come back for their fish & chips and maybe even try the gizzards on my next trip down here.

The pacific oysters are a good size and I really enjoyed the yuzu-kosho ponzu sauce on it. The spicy tuna crispy rice have a good amount of spicy tuna on top & I loved how crispy they made the rice underneath. The Kodo trio comes with uni, toro, & wagyu and the Toro sampler comes with o-toro, chu-toro, akami. All of these handrolls were phenomenal & just left you wanting more. The Wagyu katsu you cook on a hot stone at the table which I liked as an interactive dish. The Wagyu cheeseburger was dripping with juice but still had those crunchy edges. The Uni pasta was beautiful & delicious. The Chimichurri prawns I could eat multiple plates of- the shell comes sliced down the middle so you just have to peel it off. For dessert we ordered the Kodo basque cheesecake & Miso chocolate torte. I love a basque cheesecake & the sesame crumble added great texture. The miso chocolate torte made me wish I ordered my own. This is a chain place that sells wings near a freeway entrance, and Inext to a 711 and a laundromat. I give it 5 stars because of what this place is and the style of food and service that I expected to get :) There is inside seating but it seems like more of a place where people ordered and left. I was the same with a to go order of a 10 piece combo with garlic parm and lemon pepper bone in wings. The cleanliness was fine enough and the staff was fine and nice enough :) The person that took my order smiled as I gave my order and smiled as I picked up my order.
