Burnt Ends (When Available) with Side Sweet Potato Fries
David C.

Stopped in to grab a late dinner and watch some football. Lots of TVs and friendly service. Portions were huge and great taste. The tenders could have fed 2 people and the the burnt end chunks were enormous yet extremely tender and juicy. Don't sleep on this place

a half eaten plate of food

I am always skeptical of eating barbecue at restaurants that are bar and grills. The brisket sandwich I ordered was one of the best I have had well worth ordering. I also over heard some other people ranting the ribs were great.

Smoked Wings (8)

Nice place, large patio that does get some late afternoon shade. Friendly staff and their smoked wings are not to shabby, find myself craving them from time to time. Will return for sure.

Oooowweee this was good eats! Tailgate with an egg!

This little bar and grill is nestled off of the K-7 in a strip with one other store in the strip which is a liquor store!! I would say the best part of coming here was the burrito bites!! It is a must have!! They make a burrito fry it and cut it. It comes with sour cream, queso, and salsa!! It was worth the $9. My husband and I shared this as an starter and we were almost full so make sure you have room for your main course. Now I had the Tailgate with an egg. Next time I probably will keep the egg off but the burger was really juicy and hot. My husband had the wings chared and he really enjoyed them. If you get an order of fries they can serve 2-3 people so just be aware. Overall nice place to come eat and watch a game and be with friends.

Where do you start with a simple sport bar and grill... the game well they were showing the one I wanted to watch Rock Chalk but since I live in a house divided my poor husband was left to watching Mizzou on his phone. So that part was on behalf of him. Ok so bar with friends for a drink and dinner perfect decide on the drink the men with blue moon tonight and the ladies with a clue Hawaiian. Well don't want too many blue drinks they ran out of beer after on the second order and while my girlfriend had several blue Hawaiians they soon ran out of the mixers for that as well Now the food was fair typical bar burgers sandwiches and apps and the BBQ smelled good. My friends enjoyed the flavor a little more than my hubby and I but we are more foodies and well I have had better. It's worth a try though my opinion vary from your tAste buds but that's all it is my opinion.

The Gobbler sandwich so yummy!

Great bar and grill. Food is good (awesome pizza and wings) and the beer is cold and priced right! PBR on tap. Boom!

Food's ok, but they don't have Wi Fi, so our Fantasy Football group goes to J. Murphy's instead. Their food is actually pretty good.

Scotch Eggs in Leawood?…read more Located in a suburban strip mall around 129th and State Line in Leawood, there is ample parking in the communal lot. Stepping inside the atmosphere is that of a real (modern) Irish pub, with a full bar and comfortable tables. An old wood and leather feel that sets the stage for authentic Irish fare. Having been to their restaurant in Westwood, I have to say that I like this location better - it just "feels" better. Being part of a group of about 20 for lunch, we were seated in a separate room which made socializing easy without bothering the other customers. After being welcomed by our waiter, menus passed out and drink orders taken, we were informed that their chef was from Dublan and that dishes were made fresh in-house. While I did see Scotch Eggs (I like to think of them as an Irish version of an Egg McMuffin) on the menu, I jumped on their Fish & Chips. The breaded North Atlantic Cod was moist and flakey at the same time, with a great flavor. Included was slaw, mushy peas, and their house cut fries (all very tasty). A dash of malt vinegar and a squeeze of lemon later and I was loving it all! Portions were all pretty large, so come hungry and expect to leave satisfied. Prices are well within expectations considering quality of service, food, and atmosphere. Having been a waiter "back in the day" I was impressed with the friendly and efficient service. Not once did I see anyone waiting overly long for drink refills or their meals. That is very comforting during these "post COVID" times of reopening and short staffing. Kudo's to all involved. It is nice to see a true Irish pub in the middle of Leawood. With this one and the one on Rainbow being about the same distance from my Lee's Summit home, expect to see me returning often. Next time I will try their Scotch Eggs!

Place is the bomb. Food is amazing, atmosphere is perfect and the service is the best.read more

The chicken however was like rubber. I ate half a small piece and put the rest to the side. My husband had the Pulled Pork platter which is normally good. The meat was really dry. I ate all the pasta and told our server about the chicken being like rubber and she stated that she's mentioned that exact thing to the cooks but that maybe if a customer complains they would possibly listen. What made me a little annoyed though was that I ate none of the chicken yet they didn't at least bump off a few bucks off my meal. The service was fine but I feel like over the years this has become my last choice versus my first choice.

I never should have listened to those who are not fans. My husband got 4 twisteds--2 chicken and one of each of the other flavors. They were all so good. And the fresh fried chips were delicious too. I got the fried swai. My husband is not a fan of fish but he kept stealing bites off my plate, it was that good. The batter was light and crisp. And the portion was huge. I LOVED the honey mustard coleslaw. I'm a slaw snob, and I have high standards. I look forward to eating the slaw again. The garlic Parmesan broccoli was good too. We will be back.

All their food is named after musicians. I had the Hank Williams hamburger, with spicy bacon jam, Cheddar cheese, and a couple of fried onion. The burger was delicious, the bacon jam not overly spicy for me but worked well. Great burger. Came with seasoned fries, also quite good. They brew some of their own beer, which both my friends and I thought they still had a little ways to go to perfect that. I had their Irish Stout which wasn't bad. A little more bitter than Guinness but ok. Definitely great food for a bar, and their craft beer will get there soon. Parking is around back.
