I have to update my review. I called in December to redeem the 1st free water heater descaling and the plumber never showed up the day we scheduled the service. I recently had another plumber perform the flush and they noticed the valves used were galvanized metal and corroding after 18 months after the installation. The Camco plumber should have used brass valves to avoid the valves failing after a short period of time. read more

This is an honest business, and I say that as a single woman with very little experience in home repair. I called them out because of moisture under my house - a contractor told me it was a pipe leaking. Cesar came out and assessed the situation and reported what he saw with pics (no leak). Zero stars. They never showed up for the appointment and I texted them asking about their no show after no phone call or communication. I received a quick response stating that their technician got in an accident on the freeway on their way to my house. I might have believed it but I had done my homework and knew from a google review that they had used this same excuse not too long ago from another client. Not thrilled. Booked the appointment to get my bidet repaired. The tech came out looked at it and then said he was going to go get some parts from his truck. 30 minutes later..... I get a text saying he took his lunch break so why say you're going to your car and come back? , but you actually just bounce for About 2 hours for "parts and lunch" after getting back I am ASSUMING he did some troubleshooting but idk because I was not in the bathroom to see what he did. 30 min later he lets me know I need to buy parts from the company who makes the toilet. Camco Rooter was hired to epoxy line and CIPP my old sewer lines (over 200 feet) and extend their longevity. Camco is a small plumbing company, but had the technical expertise and capital equipment to accomplish the job. Throughout the effort, which lasted several weeks, they were always rapidly responsive to phone calls and questions. As usual, on sizable jobs like this, problems occur. They used their technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complete the work and didn't ask for additional money. A pipe under one of my bathrooms was collapsed and they had to dig a hole to replace it. The bathroom was fully restored to its original condition, including tiling and paint. The whole team was very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company for restoring old sewer lines. read more

In the last 6 months or so, I worked with Cesar on four separate plumbing projects at my house in San Pedro, and it could not have gone any better. First, Cesar replaced the underground water feed line from the city's meter to my house. The work was completed quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. Next, I asked him about what I thought might be signs of a underground leak with my sewer line. Cesar brought in a camera system to inspect the length of the sewer running from my house out into the city's sewer under the street. He quickly located a problem area and came up with a plan to repair it using the trenchless "no dig" approach. His quote for the work was substantially less than the companies that heavily advertise and tout their specialization in this type of work. The repair was made without a hitch and the sewer line has been trouble-free since. Then I asked Cesar to upgrade a two-handle shower to a modern, one handle mixing valve. I also requested him to replace the valve stems in the sink faucet while he was at it. Even though it was a relatively small job, he completed the work quickly at a great price. He was also conscientious about keeping the work area contained and cleaning up upon completion. Finally, a month or two later at about midnight, I realized my old tank-type water heater had died. I contacted several companies to see who might be able to replace it as soon as possible with a tankless unit. But Cesar responded first thing the next morning and had the job completed by the end of that day. It just doesn't get any better than that. All in all, I have worked with many building trade professionals in my 50+ years, and Cesar is definitely one of the best. Highly recommended! read more
