I had made an appointment about 2.5 weeks out. When I showed up at the dealership, I was informed my appointment was scheduled with an employee who no longer works there, and this was an issue with their 3rd party scheduling system. Every time you call to schedule an appointment, you cannot speak with someone at the dealership. Instead, you have to go through their 3rd party. All the associates were too busy to help me and were reluctant to help me, but I explained that I had an appointment, so I had someone in training check me in, and really had no idea how anything was done. When I went and spoke with the actual associate, Victor, who would be helping me, I was told it would take five days to get it all done. I was not given any updates. When I called on day 4 for an update, I was told Victor was out and that my car still showed under inspection. I asked to speak to the manager, but every time you ask to speak to anyone at this dealership, they only take down a message and do not allow you to speak to anyone on the phone. Day 5 called in the morning again and had to leave a message. I then got a call on day five that my car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, they had not completed the Zactac spray, and instead of saying they would do it this time like they were supposed to, I was told we would do it next time. Then I noticed damage on my car hood and windshield that was not there when I had dropped it off. Speaking to the service associate, I was told I wouldn't hear anything about repairing it for a week because the guy in charge was out. When I asked to see the manager, he wouldn't even stop doing the paperwork he was working on to hear my complaints. When the manager took pictures of the damage, I was told I would hear back in 3 days. He told me that email was the best form of communication for him. However, none of my emails were responded to, and any time you call they only take down messages instead of letting you talk to any managers. This is the worst service I have ever experienced at a dealership: zero communication, not completing all scheduled services when being told your car is done, and when damage is done, they ghost you. To fix the damage done to my car would be $1840. I would give zero stars if able. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. read more

I took my car in one week ago for servicing as she was growling at idle and speeds up to 60mph. I was happily greeted at 7:30am by Anthony A. who listened so sincerely as I spoke to him about my situation. He asked clarifying questions, and was honest about the time it would take to diagnose my car. He provided my options to work in the Cafe as long as I needed to, or get a ride home. He also let me know I could get a voucher for uber/lyft to get to my next location. A few days later Anthony reached out to let me know what my situation was, and he answered ALL my questions with honesty and directness - no games and no patronizing! He gave me timelines for when my car would likely be finished, was upfront about pricing and eligible discounts such as student & military, and even let me know my car could get delivered right to my door. This evening I went to pick up my car, and Anthony was so jazzed to be giving me my keys back because he knew he had an ecstatic customer! He truly went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was going on, and gave me my girl back all nice and shiny. Now, the hands that made it all happen....service technician Josh G.!!! What a guy I tell ya. Not only did he quickly diagnose my car, but his wisdom and skill was able to streamline the work being done (bad pulley on a crank damper and multiple collapsed motor mounts). HE FIXED MY CAR TWO DAYS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. I feel like most experiences with service you get your car back three days late, but Josh is here is kick cans and take names. Stoked is an understatement. Seriously, I am elated to have my car back, and she runs so smooth and quiet, it feels like I am driving a new car! Thank you, gracias, danke, grazie! After writing this review Ford reached out to me and ask me to contact them. I called and received a voice mail. I am still waiting on a call back. All in the same day Ford sent an email saying the car is ready for pick up. However, we were out of town so today 12/15/20 . We are picking the car up after work and returning the rental car. Well while I'm at work the car rental service called and said the dealership told them we picked up our car Friday and we must have just kept the rental car. First how do you not see my car at your facility or how are you unable to locate it in your system? Also, why would you tell a car rental center i must have kept the car? Why would I want to keep a rental when my 2018 Ford fusion works just fine (when the dealership will do things properly), and it saves me gas. Compared to this horrible Ford ranger. I know this car is company car and they have to go through why not lease it. However, this place is absolutely the worst. We arrive to pick up the car only to find out that the car is NOT done it's "In the air". After going back and forth the car and who said it was done. final offer a rental car. and we will just keep waiting for our car. read more

Not reliable or a safe place for your family. Camelback put a new engine in our 2019 ford did a poor job installing it. We took it back several times but Justin said nothing was wrong with the new engine. A few months later the new engine was smoking and causing us to crash . Avoid this place like the plague. It takes literally days to try to be a hold of their service department. On my first service, an oil change, I was told it'd take an hour when I showed up to my appointment. A little long but sure I'll wait. 9 hours later I finally got my oil change done. "Oh wait we forgot to wash it." That's fine let me get out of here I'll do it on my own. The sales department will constantly hound you for another deal. Every week it'll be someone new who won't communicate with anyone else you talked to. They'll always need more information and never get back to you. Recently, I took my truck in to get 2 recalls fixed. It's been 2 months and they still haven't filed the paperwork with the registry so my recalls still show as needed. The other apparently was a bandaid and didn't tell me so I still will need to take time out of my schedule to go get it fixed AGAIN. I promise if you buy anything from them you will be sorry. I called the service desk to request a ride so that I can take my car home. Kassi answered and had an attitude upon answering. I heard her do an annoyed deep sigh before asking for my address. I do t understand bc I had asked politely. I get that it's early in the morning but you are in a customer service role. When I get dropped off, I didn't know where to go to request to get my car so I stood by the next service desk and it ended up being Kassi. She NEVER greeted me or said hello. She actually looked at me annoyed. So I walked around until I found the cashier's desk. Someone really needs to train Kassi about providing customer service. You should always politely greet anyone that comes in. We are already tense about the repairs process as it is, but I would never exert an attitude to others. read more

The only reason I continue to try and work with these people is only for recalls, in other words when I am forced to, and because they are the closest to me. They never answer the phone, when they do they transfer you around and drop your call, they otherwise will take all your information and never call you to help. Not sure where the fault is, but I am blaming leadership and management. It is embarrassing that this is how they take care of their customers. When I brought my car in Justin the service writer said they would not look at it for 7 days. So I said no I have an appointment. He says your appointment is only to see me. Were not looking at your car for about 7 days. We are busy. I couldn't believe it. I can only guess they were trying to discourage me from dropping it off because it was warranty service. I don't know but totally unacceptable. So I didn't leave my car and now will try to get it fixed at another dealer further from my house or pay a local shop to repair it. My experience was horrible. I had a simple oil change and air filter service plus a few recall items to be addressed. My car was there for almost 2 full weeks! Communication was awful from the Service Dept, Gary Everett, the online chat and text chats... all communication was poor and so difficult. I called and left over a dozen messages on Gary's line plus an additional 10+ calls to the general service dept. number while my car was there trying to get updates. It's clear to me that all of the recall items were addressed on the day I picked up the vehicle so there was absolutely no reason my car needed to be there for almost 2 weeks. I've worked at car dealerships and know bad ones when I see them. I purchased a vehicle at this place in 2011 and it was a horrible experience where I got ripped off. They seem to have come under new management and my most recent experience was quite different. They worked with me and my credit to get me into something that would fit my growing family. I don't remember the name of the salesman but I'm really glad I ended up here at the suggestion of another friend. Whoever is doing the hiring, you're doing well. Visiting Phoenix from out of state and needed another key to my 2003 Windstar Van (yeah, I know it's old but it only has 50k miles on it!) I purchased a 2022 F350 in January 2023. They charged me over $2000 for dealer added options. When the vehicle arrived only one thing had actually been done, they had replaced the antenna! They refused to refund my money for the work that was never done even though they knew full well that the work hadn't been done before it left their dealership. Purchased our Escape March 2020. It came with 6 clearcoats, once every 6 months. Called the service department to schedule our last clearcoat and was told that we would have to ensure the car was washed before they would apply the clearcoat. I pointed out that the last 5 times we were not required to wash the car before service. She said that she would check and when she came back she said, "I was told to tell you that you need to wash the car before you bring it in". Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. Then take your vehicle elsewhere for service. I brought my old F150 in because it wouldn't go higher than second gear in Drive. After 7 days, Camelback Ford told me they needed to drop the transmission pan. After 5 more days, they said they found burned fluid and metal shavings in the pan and said I needed to replace the transmission for $7,000. I paid them over $700 for this brilliant diagnosis only to find .... When I took the truck to a bona fide transmission shop, they quickly found the only real problem was - it was stuck in 4WD low gear. Without any repair, they unstuck it and refused to charge me a single cent. I've put over 500 miles on the truck since; it's running as well as ever. When I asked Camelback Ford to take responsibility for failing to diagnose the actual, simple problem AND instead pushing me toward an unneeded transmission replacement, they effectively told me to pound sand. I am now pursuing the matter with the Attorney General's Arizona Fraud Squad. read more

Slow service, slow response, I caught them trying to sale me services that were done last visit. It was blatant. Called them on it and they claimed they didn't notice the screen showed it as complete. Did an oil change and they didn't screw the cap on tightly. It leaked all over my garage. Not just a drop.....it was like a full quart of oil all over my garage. Previously my car never dripped any oil....ever. Nerve go back! read more

Kate from sales text me about a raptor. They advertise a 20k markup. She explained that she could lower the markup "if i come in tomorrow." Long story short, her desk manager apparently wasn't happy that i found better deals elsewhere and said that I'd fallen for the other dealers tricks. When she finally sent me her dealers price quote, the markup had increased to 22k now. When I said they can keep their truck, she got rude and stated that i was "stroking" the dealership and that I wasted her time "all day", and that i wasn't worth her time. The texting was over 2 hours, and she was the one that reached out to me. So I don't see how I wasted her time when I was honest and completely transparent from the beginning. I still have the entire conversation on my phone. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend Camelback Ford. read more

Worst Dealership and Service Center. Sold me a car, told me to come back for free tinting (salesman provided no documents stating a timeline or expiration). Dropped my car off and came back to pick it up. They didn't even tint, they did an oil change for some reason. I then tell them I didn't come for an oil change, I came for tinting. They then told me that they lost my paperwork for free tinting and the car salesman doesn't work at the dealership anymore and there is nothing they could do. So 5 hours later, my windows aren't tinted and I was ripped off for a tint job that was incorporated in the price of the car. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. Started out great. As I'm not local to AZ, I was dealing everything on the phone. Got some pictures of the vehicle as asked, saw there was more damage then noted. Asking price was listed online for $15,750...made them an offer ( lower then listed, as the body work alone would be more then $1,000 to fix and the radiator needed to be replaced.) when the salesman came back with a follow up. Not only did they not discount the price, but they actually raised it but $1,000! So now its selling for $16,570! What a load of crap. Dishonest to say the least, and salesman addressed everything was "fixed" accordingly. Not, true. At all. Seems like your below average " smoke and mirrors" salesman's and dealership here. I would highly recommend Camelback Ford to anyone in the market for a new and reliable American-made truck. Angel from Sales, and Nick from Finance were an absolute pleasure to work with. If I ever I am in the market for a new Ford in the future, I know exactly who I'll be going to. Camelback was the only dealer in Central AZ or SoCal that had the exact Lariat I was in the market for (Lariat 502A trim, FX4 Sport, Max Tow, Black Out Package, CA Emissions system) in the color I wanted (Iconic Silver). The price was fair for the vehicle, I wouldn't say it was a "great deal" but I will say I had no reservations paying the price we agreed upon. Camelback Ford does make it a great customer experience. They really treat their customers well, and make sure you are taken care of. I know exactly who I'll be contacting whenever I'm the market in the future for a new Ford. Angel was very knowledgeable, kind, and bubbly. A great person to speak with if you arent into dealing with the notorious pressure tactics from car salesmen. She was a real pleasure to conversate and laugh with while you sift through the usual paperwork involved with buying a car. Nick was very professional, yet down to Earth. He did his job well, and expeditiously. Whenever you're in the process of purchasing a vehicle you can expect to spend multiple hours at the dealership. The last thing you want is someone to drag out the financial paperwork process, or try to weasle in unnecessary additional expenses. That didn't happen with Nick. He was quick, to the point, and got you in and out of the office as quick as possible while leaving your pocketbook alone. Overall, a 5 Star experience and I hope to be back. read more

i wanted to add to my original review some additional details. if i recall, Camelback Ford sent a list of recommended repairs and services totaling over $5,000 before noon. i declined. i'm sure i still got the email. i assumed that they did the multi-point inspection. i 100% believe that this led to the vindictiveness of the dealer because i declined the 5K in repairs and services. from the slow service, oily smudges on the car body, oil drip on the oil pan drain plug and the worst thing yet is when i did my own oil change after this visit, i found that the oil pan drain plug was installed with an impact driver. i thought for sure the drain plug was going to snap off. it took a lot of torque to break it free, they know what they did and i am sure it's happened to many others. integrity and honesty used to be a thing with dealerships. i have lost all trust in dealerships. my advice is to avoid them. read more

Letting everyone know, DO NOT BUY FROM CAMELBACK FORD! We purchased a Ford Escape on June 25th. After numerous emails, calls and visits, here we are 2 months later (Aug 29th) and General Manager Herb Jernukian confirmed our fear. They sold us a car that they don't have a title to and don't know if they can get it or even if they can get it. Herb offered to give us 100% money back. But I have put $500.00 into Escape for repairs and accessories. That he won't refund making returning the car difficult. All this is on video including Herb threatening to call the police on us I guess for calling him/Camelback out (in the show room) for selling a vehicle knowing they don't have all the proper paperwork. It's a shame Camelback Ford does this to people. They didn't blink an eye to taking full payment for the vehicle! read more
