Camp 18 has been a family stop for us for many years going back to fishing trips on a charter on the coast with my father as well as weekenders on holidays in Seaside. when just a lad! Now 80 y/o. This particular restaurant is Located near mile marker 18 and with old dilapidated antique logging equipment sitting on the outside exposed to the elements.. Our trips to seaside were always enjoyable for family too and might I mention our Breakfast time at camp 18 was the height of our enjoyment? I have some pleasant memories from camp 18 so 5 stars*****!

We always stop in for breakfast on our way home. Our family loves it here. Always great service and great food.

We love Camp 18! Everything we've ordered had been yummy, satiating and just all around solid. The service is always friendly, albeit slow sometimes. But, maybe that's good! What's the hurry!? The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The log cabin ambiance reminds me of what it must have been like back in the logging days. I love the building. Solid, elegant and homey, at the same time. The Hot Beef Sandwich was served with zucchini and sweet potato fries (at my request). Down home delicious! My husband's streak was cook a perfect medium and flavorful. We both enjoyed our Valentines meal, very much! You won't be disappointed with Camp 18.

Food was not great, but price was okay and sizes were decent. Service was good, ambiance was the only redeeming factor. Loved the bird and squirrel feeders and all the cool wood art, old tools and equipment

Outside of the restaurant.

The food was excellent and the surroundings were an experience all by themselves. Love all the old equipment on display and the chainsaw sculptures. The center beam on the building is amazing! We had the biscuits and gravy combo with the pot of coffee. I love that I could refill my cup as soon as it was empty. We will definitely go there again.

The restaurant itself was very cute-like a log cabin. The waitress was great and attentive, however the woman who sat me and then took my money was beyond rude. When I went to pay, she didn't say anything to me. Not a thank you, zero acknowledgement. The food was okay. I ordered biscuits and gravy and they came out lukewarm. I did go to the shop next door and those employees were so sweet and kind!!

I dont get the 3.5 star rating. Its a busy restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Youre going to have to wait during rush hours. You have to go up to the cashier and ask to put your party in the queue if there is a line. The food is delicious and decently priced. Their is lots to look at and explore while you wait all over their lot. They even have a riber in the back and some nice places to take romantic photos. This place feels very country and I like it.

Stopped by for breakfast on a Wednesday morning a couple weeks ago on our way to Cannon Beach. Had not been in for about 5 years, so we were not sure what to expect. It was GREAT! Food tasted good, really friendly service and we did not have to wait. Really enjoyed it and we will definitely be stopping by again soon. Of course, like everywhere nothing is cheap anymore, but we feel like we got a really good breakfast!

I Love Camp 18! Only had breakfast here but each time it's been enjoyable. The food is great with good size servings. The service is good and attentive. The atmosphere is incredible. Its like you are in a giant log cabin. There are also lots of cool things to look at outside and a cool gift shop.

Hands down one of the best eating experiences I've had from start to finish in a very long time!…read more Terra, our amazing server, and the Bridgewater Bistro team made my 50th birthday dinner experience a truly memorable experience and I am so thankful to them all, they didn't know until I was leaving so no special treatment :). Terra welcomed both me and my husband with kindness and provided us with impeccable service. Couldn't have been more pleased, thank you! True props to the chef and crew!!! From start to finish (appetizer-entry-desert) had so much flavor that each and every bite was an explosion of perfectly seasoned and melded flavors. We had the crab cheese dip, house bread and prosciutto wrapped asparagus for our appetizers, my husband had the Ribeye steak and I had the King Salmon. His large steak was cooked to perfection and the flavors involved in the King Salmon concoction left my tastebuds in awe - seriously BRAVO! With no room left in our bellies we of course ordered the strawberry-rhubarb cobbler and pear margarita sorbet. Both were absolutely to die for. With 24 years of military service, much of it abroad, I've had my fair share of both and I'd put both of these at the very top. I'm a foodie and love the joys food can bring to so many regardless of background or origins. You brought unexpected joy to my life this weekend and for that I'm taking the time to write this review and to say thank you. Can't wait for our next visit to Astoria and to Bridgewater Bistro. We were seated at a window table, which was great. We ordered a couple drinks and a couple appetizers. The crab dip and calamari were amazing. Probably the best crab dip I've ever had. For main courses, I ordered the seared scallops and added prawns to the dish as well as a side of their chowder. So good. Melt in your mouth scallops. The chowder was some of the best I've had. My wife ordered pasta Alfredo with shrimp. She said it was amazing as well. And my daughter ordered the Boullabaisse. I've never heard of it but it's a seafood bowl that is delicious and has many seafoods inside.. almost like a soup. She loved it. Dessert was a chocolate torte and a cheesecake slice. Again, amazing. This is a must go to restaurant if you want upscale in Astoria, Oregon. It is well worth the price. And you cannot beat the atmosphere and service. It is exceptional.

But, even being a year round visitor, there are still some things that take getting used to like the limited hours for many restaurants. Even in the high season, the San Dune Pub is only open a few days a week and only during dinner hours. So, no lunch visits or late night drinking sessions. Also, no children allowed, just fur babies on the back patio. The best time to experience the San Dune is on a late summer afternoon or early evening on the back patio. It is a nice place to hang out sheltered from the traffic on Laneda and any strong wind coming off the beach. I've only ordered burgers and it hits the spot served on a brioche bun with a generous side of fries or tots. A funny quirk about the menu is that all of the cheeseburgers are the same price (currently $18). So whether you want a plain cheeseburger or the more extravagant Chipotle Bacon Chicken Burger, it is the same price. You can upgrade the side if you prefer salad or chowder. There are three large screens inside, so it is a place where you can watch a game, but there is also a wall with video poker machines that have the sound turned on, which is quite annoying. Personally, I'd turn left as you enter and stick to the quieter side of the dining space.
