    SLOW-ROASTED PORK sandwhich
    Abhinav K.

Camp Outpost has a great patio setup and the service was quick and friendly, which made it a nice spot to relax outdoors. Unfortunately, the food itself was pretty underwhelming. We ordered the Slow-Roasted Pork Sandwich, but the meat was dry and the bread kept falling apart, making it difficult to enjoy. We also tried the Camp Burger, which was decent but lacked any real wow factor. Overall, it just felt like an average burger without anything particularly memorable about it. While the atmosphere and patio are nice, the food was bland overall and not something I'd personally come back for. If you're in the area, there are probably better food options nearby.

The knife was not sharp enough. If you're going to serve chicken on the bone with the thigh and drumstick attached, please provide appropriately silverware to eat it! QR code only establishment and it is my belief that if you're going to go that route, you should provide free wifi. The receipt automatically adds 18% tip by default. Didn't see any option to change this during check out. The waiter only came out to give water and drop off my food. No check in, no thank you/goodbye. Kinda pricey, but it could be due to location. It's right off the #4 Springdale bus stop from Zion.

Thank goodness for this place! An oasis in the desert. Food that was actually yummy and priced appropriately for what it was. Two adults & 1 kid shared the roast chicken platter and it was so delicious that my 6 year old offered to marry it. Ace/Auto Camp vibes. Will be back!

Camp Outpost was one of the best restaurants we had while visiting zion national park for the weekend. staff was welcoming, food was absolutely delicious, and overall just a good vibe. they only had one restroom, but it was gender neutral!

Yummy! You do order and pay by scanning a QR code which is a little awkward. But overall satisfying meal.

Nice spot in Zion for great comfort food. Easy to order by QR code and then they bring it out to the table. Fast and efficient. The food was well prepared and the portions were large. I had the camp burger and others in my party had the chicken taco's and mission salad bowl with chicken. Both said they were great! So I recommend this place if you are looking for a fast great food experience.

Best place we ate while in Springdale!! Burger? DELICIOUS. Beer? DELICIOUS. Margarita? DELICIOUS. We ate here back to back for dinner it was that good. Our server Cindy was very friendly. Cindy and Kat were there both days. Let me tell you they both deserve a raise, they were both bussing, hosting serving all while being super friendly. If we ever come back we will be coming here to eat!

Great location, love the outside seating to enjoy the view - easy to order online from the tables.

Great place - easy self ordering online at the table. Quick service and beautiful views sitting outside. The food was good, and the burgers looked amazing. Walked here from the hotel, as it's in center of Springdale. Definitely worth it.

Solid restaurant to get basic vittles in your stomach. For context, Zion doesn't have too much around it, but Springdale has more options within 10 minutes of the park compared to many other national parks. Service at Camp Outpost was great, despite my stomach acting up still from the food poisoning I got eating canned mussel provisions from Patagonia in Arches. Although I spent about a quarter of my time in the restaurant in the bathroom, the majority of the time was enjoying the rustic ambiance. Quiet restaurant with good lunchtime vibes, even during off season the restaurant delivered solidly on its club sandwich, fresh lettuce and tomatoes crunching against panfried bacon and rotisserie chicken. The pork chops were okay, a little tough to chew, but seasoned lightly with chimichurri and tasty. Highlight of the restaurant was probably the crispy brussels sprouts. Too bad my stomach didn't hold onto anything too long. Thanks to Camp Outpost for a delicious and relaxing lunch and sorry for using up your toilet paper roll in the post-meal realization my day before food poisoning reaction was still going on.

They're open during winter months, which is a big plus! Service is also really friendly here. We came in for dinner and tried the Camp Caesar, Mission Salad, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Chicken Strips (kids), and Cheese Quesadilla (kids). They also had a banana muffin out, which we grabbed. Their winter menu didn't have tacos or some other things, which was a bummer. Ordering at the counter is straightforward, and we took a number to our table. Food came out really quickly. The brussels sprouts were probably the best thing we ate. Even our kids loved them. Super crispy, great texture - yum! The kids offerings were okay. Good enough for the kids. The quesadilla was a corn flour one. Their fries were pretty good though. The two salads were also really nice. The garlic baguette that's served with the salads is phenomenal! Such a great texture on the bread, and I loved the seed crust. Plus, the salads were reasonably priced (looking at you, Onyx, and your ridiculously overpriced salad).

CAMP BURGER and sweet potato CAMP FRIES
    Michaela I.

Definitely felt like a millennial burger joint. You order through a QR code on the table and the prices were somewhat expensive for my taste. I got the burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was good, but didn't blow my mind good, didn't taste $22+ good. Sweet potato fries were fresh, but somewhat bland, needs more salt or seasoning. Food came out quick enough but staff was minimal contact with us, seemed like that was the goal of the restaurant.

We loved this place so much we came here 3 times during our trip!! The rotisserie chicken was so good, I love how they did the potatoes, all of it. It feels like a good home cooked meal after a long day of being outside and hiking. We came back several times to try the burgers and tacos and tried the seasonal Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. Even the prickly pear margaritas were tasty! Highly recommend to anyone who's in the area. Looking forward to coming back if we're in town!

A quick stop for some lunch at Camp outpost is where you need to go. Had a burger and it was delicious. They also have on their menu a lot of different chicken rotisserie which was also delicious. They had a bit of potatoes and I normally don't like potato salad, but it was really really good cause it was like a roasted potato mix situation going on. Also ordered fries are so amazing and definitely recommend this as a pitstop. They have a quick ordering process because they use a QR code and facility is clean and very close to Zion. Staff was friendly, even though there was limited staff you would not feel it with a full Restaurant.

We noticed quite a few people waiting to be seated, which naturally caught our attention, so we decided it was worth giving the restaurant a try. The first thing you will notice is that the portions are absolutely enormous. Unfortunately, in my experience, portion size didn't necessarily translate into attention to detail. I ordered the chicken salad, which was approximately $23. My biggest disappointment was the romaine lettuce. Much of my salad consisted of the darker green outer portions and tips rather than the crisp, tender heart of the romaine that I would expect in a quality salad at this price point. I mentioned my concern to our server. She was very nice and tried her best to accommodate us, but I was surprised that nobody from management came by to acknowledge the feedback or see whether the dish should be replaced. The chicken portion was also extremely generous, but the pieces were much larger than I personally prefer. I tend to appreciate smaller, higher-quality chicken breasts with a more delicate texture rather than simply emphasizing quantity. My wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which unfortunately she found rather bland and lacking in flavor. Our friends' children ordered from the kids' menu and seemed happy with their meals, and my friend ordered the tacos and appeared satisfied as well. Oscar's clearly has a loyal following and many positive reviews, so our experience may simply differ from that of others. However, I can't personally give it four or five stars based on this visit. The casual atmosphere is perfectly appropriate for Springdale, but the kitchen could benefit from greater attention to the ingredients and presentation of each dish, and I would have appreciated more management engagement after a concern was brought to their attention. I'm giving Oscar's three stars, primarily because of the extremely generous portions and our server, who genuinely tried her best. With more attention to detail in the kitchen and stronger follow-through from management, there is certainly room for improvement.
