After waiting in line to order for about 10 min, I overheard a stressed out manger frantically telling employees "Were out of margaritas!" View at this location is beautiful. My daughter and I grabbed a hamburger and sweet potato fries, which tasted fine but the burger was VERY well done. The poor review is mostly due to the fact that the food took so long (it was not a busy time, sunday at 5pm) and that we had to bus our own table in order to sit Down. Knowing it was Thanksgiving, we were worried about our options but Camp Outpost was open and absolutely provided an amazing meal. The burger was amazing! The crispy brussel sprouts were amazing! We were excited to try this place as it was highly recommended by locals- always a good sign. We arrived and found it was counter service, which was fine. They served margaritas- even better! The man in front of us was in line simply for the margaritas as not many places serve them. We were about fifth in line and we're waiting about five minutes when the group at the front of the line finally finished ordering. Weird, but maybe they had lots of questions. The next group was also taking a really long time. Then the woman working the counter came out and said she was stopping the line. What? The man in front of us asked if he could just order his margarita (we are at least 10 minutes waiting by now, he's been there longer). She tells him he can't order a drink without food. And he can't order food because she is stopping the line at the person who is currently at the counter. If you are confused reading this, so were we. We asked what she meant and she said they weren't allowing anyone to order. We could come back in 10-15 minutes. And if we came back in 10-15 minutes, the food would take at least an hour to an hour and 15 minutes to be ready. Huh? For burgers? When nearly every table is empty? And only 5 people are in line? We asked to speak to a manager, he said, yeah, we're backed up. That was it. Way to run a restaurant in a crazy busy tourist town. Maybe the food is great, maybe not. Great addition to the Springdale restaurants choices. We liked it so much we ate there two nights in a row. The burger is amazing! We also really liked the rotisserie chicken dinner, mission salad, and chicken fingers. We had great service on both of our visits (Kenia took excellent care of us). You deserve to know that if you order online, they do not read the notes. Ordered a burger for my gluten free, dairy free husband. They successfully used a gluten free bun, likely because that was something you could check a box to request for a few extra dollars; it showed up on the receipt. However, they did not leave off the cheese as requested clearly in the "special requests" note. It's not hard to leave off a slice of cheese, so I can only conclude that they did not read the request. Not sure how they would have handled this as I did not open the food to check until I got home (rookie mistake on my part). However, my food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. So, just double check before leaving the restaurant if you have dietary restrictions and ordered online. read more

This little gem was situated right next to our hotel, so convenience took us there for the first night's meal. We split the half a rotisserie chicken platter and it was perfect! We went back for breakfast another day before one of our hikes in Zion NP. My husband had the overnight oats and they were fantastic. I ordered the breakfast burrito, but asked if they could serve it without the tortilla. They were more than willing to accommodate my request. When they brought it out, my jaw dropped! It was so much food and so beautifully presented. (See picture). They are pretty new, but I am sure they will become popular in this town. You place your order at a counter when you walk in which gives it a kind of "fast food" vibe, but the food itself looks and tastes chef created. There is something magical about a cafe in the midst of grand beauty like this one.. My friend and I are nomad business owners. We went on a hike in Zion and then stopped for lunch and some work time here. The view is magic with tall windows, the food is delish (I got the burger and Brussels) , the ambiance is clean, modern and welcoming. And Tee, our server, was phenomenal. Solid food option in Springdale near Zion National Park. Props to them for also having the option to order ahead online for pick-up. We ordered ahead and intended to eat in our hotel room due to the pandemic. I wish more spots in Springdale offered the ability to order via app. The food was reasonably priced and really tasty. We especially liked the burger, pulled pork sandwich, and fried chicken sandwich. Portion sizes for the fries were also very generous. I'd definitely recommend this spot. read more

I ordered a salad online for pickup at 6:00. I arrived at 5:55. I received my salad at 6:40. They seemed understaffed and frantic. The few meals coming from the kitchen were for seated guests, while five parties of pickup orders waited endlessly. They also repeatedly messed up orders, and offered lip service "sorries" only. One salad does not require excessive preparation and zero cooking. Especially one like this: handful of bagged lettuce with a few toppings. Avocado MIA. I won't return. With tip....2 cheese burgers, 1 fry, 1 Brussels sprout, 2 beers, 4 waters.....over $79.00 Burgers came out without cheese, took them back and slapped a cold slice on. Meat cold and overcooked, bun cold and stale. Sprouts a soggy mess. Fries edible. Tried to order a second beer, was told "due to Utah Law, you have to go back up to the counter and order more food. Each time you order a beer you need to have food on the ticket". The waiter then said "maybe just get another order of fries". Now we live in Utah, and that has NEVER been the case. We then reevaluated and decided that would probably push up up to near $100 and decided that we would just never come back here. We spent 3 nights in Springdale and ate at Camp Outpost for 2 of them. The rotisserie chicken and Sausage plate both stood out as amazing.

First off, everyday we had lunch in Zion, we ate here. From the food, to the servers, to the design, it kept our whole family coming back. To start off with the food, it was incredible. The food is freshly made like they say and healthier. Something like chicken strips (which I ate almost every time I went) was made healthier and fresher than any lunch or dinner restaurant. The guacamole was my personal favorite for appetizers. Next off, I would like to mention the people working here and what they do. To start, the people who worked here were nice, kind, and funny. They were super chill and always looked happy to be working. The service was, on most of the days, extremely fast even when they were busy. You got to order at the cash register and choose whatever seat you would like (indoor and outdoor). Finally, the design of camp outpost was truly thought through and interesting. There are lots of umbrellas for shade, misters to keep cool, and a pergola. The design of the actual building was unique and was very appealing from the outside and inside. Overall, this place was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend you try it during your stay at Zion! Let's be honest - this close to the mouth of Zion National Park, a restaurant does not have to go that hard. They have a captive - and hungry - tourist audience and spectacular views just by setting up a few picnic tables outside. So tell me WHY the burgers and tap list literally slap so hard here. After a long weekend of hiking, I decided to stop in here. I was surprised that the place hadn't picked up on a Friday night at 5 PM. After I got my order, I was even more surprised. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. They use a unique combo of toppings as well as a house-made chipotle ranch. The Yukon Gold smashed potatoes were the real winner here. My family loved this place while on vacation in Zion. The food, drink and atmosphere were excellent. The patio is large and misted. Richard the owner was very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The first night I had the pork sandwich and the prickly pear margarita. But WHERE THE THIGH? Half chicken was missing thigh. Half chicken came with breast and drum stick; but no thigh. That's not a half chicken in my book. Flat bread was weird.
