I bought a RV from camping world in Las Vegas, Off Las Vegas Blvd. When I bought it the ac unit didn't work. We agreed to an open end ticket for them to fix it. Due to the fact that I traveled with it for work. It's been over an year. Ac unit still isn't fixed. I've made multiple appointments for them to come to my house for repairs. I was with my child in this location recently. We had barely walked in when a young African American woman, who was working at the front desk started screaming. She was screaming, "Who wrote on my fucking board." She scared me. I instantly turned in her direction because I thought she was yelling at us for walking in. When I looked over, I saw a salesman also looking at her. He turned back and we made eye contact for a second. Then he looked away sheepishly. He was obviously embarrassed. I then quickly headed over to the retail store with my child, so we could get away from her. Not only did it genuinely scare me for a few seconds, but I don't appreciate the wild cussing in front of my child. You all should be embarrassed. We travel in a motor coach 8 months a year. For the last 5 years we have been from Maine to California 4 times and EVERY visit to a Camping World location has resulted in the worst customer service, especially Nashville TN and Oklahoma City where I base. Spent a week in Las Vegas and had no choice but to visit the Las Vegas location. I forced myself to go in. I found everything I needed except a special propane hose. By the way, the selection of products is great, it's the customer service I hate. I reluctantly asked for assistance and Jennifer offered to help. I received the information I needed and also some additional help finding a custom propane hose and fitting builder store nearby. Outstanding! So, I learned two things; there is a good chance I have not been the reason for the bad service in the past and I will give Camping World another chance as I travel across the country. If I could give Camping World negative stars I absolutely 100,000 % would. We took our RV in for work at the Henderson, Las Vegas location after moving from Chattanooga, TN. Chattanooga/Georgia location was awful. They didn't do half the things they said they would. Once we took it to Henderson, they promised all this work to be done... solar, etc, and after not hearing from them for awhile, we had to call. They were like oh by the way, we closed our Henderson location and moved all inventory to our Las Vegas store. And now they can't find our RV. We had a good experience with this dealership! I have never met a salesperson as helpful as this guy Austin. He went above and beyond of what is required of him. Never pushy but very helpful. I called to inquire about the Airstream Basecamp. He helped us negotiate a price with his manager Jay. They made it as easy as possible. Before we came over to check out the Airstream, I mentioned to him about the recalls. Austin checked all of them with Airstream and made sure the parts were ordered. Less than a week later we received the parts. We scheduled for pick up that weekend. Thorough PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) was done by JonJon. He made sure everything was functioning before we left the lot. If you're looking to get your next RV, I highly recommend Austin! After having my coach for over two months for extended warranty repairs I finally got a call (after many of my own) to pickup the coach. No mention of my out of pocket which they finally emailed me. $3,900!!!! $650 of that was for Aquahot annual, ok. They charged me for repairs I turned down, did reverse $298 for one. They never pushed hard on the warranty company for electrical repairs which are listed as covered, another $900 overcharge. Their first tech quit and they lost the paperwork not knowing what he diagnosed or fixed. Greasy footprints the length of the coach on the floor. Aquahot fluid leaking on the floor which they claim is from the engine dash heater, two different colors. They made me pay for a new $700 dryer instead of replacing a $54 thermostat that I diagnosed in 20 minutes when I brought the old dryer home. Eventually the bill was reduced to $3,100, still $1,500 more than it should have been. They went above and beyond to make all my requests possible. My service guys are the best, and will go over this coach with a fine tooth comb and we will make it perfect. He is also very communicative until you purchase the RV and leave. Once that happens your communication will be to "call the main line." So basically F' off I got your money and I'm done with you. Congratulations you just met the biggest Bull Sh*** artist in the world. Karma is the best resolution for him, can't wait until it catches up with him. Let me give you advice, DO NOT go through financing until all promised repairs are done... Once you go through finance they know you cant do anything about issues because you already own it. They would not fix items they said they would during the initial purchase walkthrough and I kept getting "oh that's normal wear and tear." I asked you to fix it before I purchased it and you said you would. Now I know why they wanted to get me through finance so quickly. Worst crooks in the world. Do not buy from this dealership, they also band-aid items to hide issues and get you off the dealer lot with the coach. Then next, wait to you try to get service. The female receptionist always tells you someone will call you back. She is another liar because no one call back. They even give you the excuse the technician is on lunch... what a crock this place is. Don't even get me started on Marcus Lemonis, and his "if your not happy I am not happy" marketing campaign. You can't even get ahold of him. The number doesn't go directly to him, it just redirects you to the local location. I guess he is too busy teaching the "How to Lie to Customers" training class for sleazy sales people. Mark my words.... you'll be sorry you purchased from this dealership. Horrible! Terrible experience and all we needed was a ladder. If you do not need to go here don't go! The customer service is nonexistent. Bad, bad, bad! This place is awful. We have been rving for 5.5 years and have gone to Camping Worlds across the US and, although I wouldn't give any of them a great rating for service, this one was terrible. We were second in line behind a problem issue with one customer and watched as 3 employees just walked on by... then the ladder we came to purchase was partially wrapped but we were assured it was new and fine. We got it to the rv and it was broken. We had to take it back and they didn't have another one so we had to go to the other Camping World 20 miles away. We traveled over 60 miles to replace a ladder :( and the employees are just rude. read more

Was shopping for a RV and due to the numerous terrible reviews, this was the last dealer in the Las Vegas area I went to. I get it, there are a lot of RV's but salesman did not even know how to extend the slides or apply external power. Tried to force on an electrical connector that didnt even fit the unit. Bought a new 2019 Thor Freedom Elite. Walk around was a joke. Was told how to turn on the AC, pointed to 6 remote controls and the tech said, "there is your remotes," with no explanation on how to use them or any other systems. He appeared to be in a hurry and just wanted his paperwork signed. Spent a lot of money on the unit and expected more of an effort. Receptionist is rude on the phone and in person. Appears put out when asked a question. Warranty service is a joke. Given an appointment for 9:30 A.M., show up and you might as well be invisible. Took over 45 minutes to have a service person even to start to check us in. No effort to speak to us or advise us of delay. Minor things to fix: Dash Map light and Ceiling fan exhaust both inoperative among a couple other minor issues. Had to make an appointment to pick up on Saturday, as you have to have an appointment to pick up for some reason. Showed up and the employee said the driver will bring it around and explain the repairs. Driver dropped off the coach, then disappeared. No explanation what so ever. Guess what, the dash map light and ceiling vent fan still don't work. Asked for a technician and was informed none were available, and to call back on Monday. Drove the unit over 60 miles round trip for this???? Will never spend another dime at Camping World as they have lived up to their terrible reviews. Any required service will be accomplished elsewhere. Anyone looking for an RV in Las Vegas, avoid Camping World!! I wish I could have given them zero stars!!!! read more

On the 4th of October, 2022 I had a very disturbing incident with Camping World. I flew my daughter in from Colorado to sell my 1999 37 ft. Itasca Suncruiser motorhome which was in storage. Having just lost my husband and being a handicapped 82 year old woman that could no longer get into it or drive it. We dealt with Carl who gave us a range of $5,000-$8000 on consignment with only $480 for detailing. Bought new batteries and it started up immediately and ran the 7 miles to camping world with no issues with the exception of the catalytic converter being stolen thru the night. Carl being the person that was taking care of entire transaction. He called the mechanic out to go over the motorhome. All the sudden it would not start so Carl said he would call in a wholesaler by the name of Joey. Joey offered $1,000 and then wanted to take off another $200 for the converter. It was agreed we would split the difference because of lack of time to further argue about the deal. The final price being $900 cash of which Joey tried to further rip me off by folding the money in half. Thankfully my son counted it before getting to his truck and went back and confronted. This motorhome was fully loaded with a washer/dryer, 2 tvs, generator, levelers, satellite, CD player, surround sound, air rides, convection oven, reverse osmosis, several extra electrical cords, brand new water pump(still in box) and 19 ft. Slide out. What a deal this Joey got!! Oh and very importantly, when my son went up to get the money it was still parked in same spot running like a charm. BEWARE getting involved with this location. Very disappointed having been a camping world customer since 1999 and always had felt very highly of them. NOT NOW!!! read more

He is patient and answered all questions no matter how silly they may seem, He worked with us to get an amazing deal that we were very comfortable with. The rest of the team was exceptionally helpful during the purchasing process as well, answering all financing and warranty questions we posed. Then we dealt with the retail store personnel who were as you might expect very helpful. I'm sad I have to leave even one star for this business. I found an rv on their website and decided to drive down to see it, a little over two hours each way, not a big deal. After arriving a salesperson said he would be happy to show us around, after standing around waiting for sometime he finally showed back up with a golf cart. We start on our way, I show him the rv I'm wanting to see. He says I think I know where it is, it wasn't there, ok well you guys look around for a bit and I'll see if I can find it. No problem, we love looking at rvs. Couldn't find it again, so we are dropped off on another area to look at rvs while he goes and checks another spot, we look around, getting a bit tired from standing around waiting, he shows up again and has his children in the cart as well and says he's not able to find the rv at all. Saying it might be in the service bay that's locked up but continues on to say his service team works everyday of the week, 365 days a year. I'd heard enough by then, he had claimed to be one of the top sales person at that property. Unfortunately he went down quite a few pegs when he started using language I would never use, and then he seemed to be lying to us, but hey it's a big property I try to keep the peace, so no problem. He then tells us the lot closes at five(it was four) and to make sure we're out or we'll get locked in and then precedes to drive off and left our group to walk back to the center. If I had been able to see the rv I had driven over to, and liked it, he might have made a sale but with the way he spoke to us, the foul language and leaving us to walk back, I'm sorry I decided to try and see that rv. To say the least, I will avoid that business no matter what type of deal I could've made. read more

First, I had the privilege and honor to have Kevin in Service handle the right up of all the work I needed for my 2004 Rexhall Aerbus Motorhome. He looked out for me on what I needed at the time. He never push me into getting anything I didn't want done. I love that. Since I'm not a mechanic I don't understand too much but he broke it down for me. DO NOT TALK TO AN IGNORANT SALESMAN... and DO NOT go in person until you have struck a deal. Generally speaking, all salesman are liars who have little to no product knowledge. So go check out the RVs WITHOUT a salesman present, take pictures, and try EVERYTHING OUT. Look at other people's reviews, and use the various internet quotes to get the price DOWN on the RV you want. read more

My experience at camping world Las Vegas is very disappointing. We bought a unit about a month ago, a new to us motorhome. Going out the door driving home in the new unit was exciting! Soon after came reality, it's been a month and the following is what has taken place. Our trade-in unit registration has been mailed to our residence on its stating camping world as the legal owner and my wife and I as the registered owner? Why the heck are we the registered owners onon a unit we turned in? We have personally sent in a release of liability since we are sure the one we filled out at the camping world finance office was not turned in correctly. Next, we still have not received the registration for the new motorhome? It has been a month and our temporary registration is now expired. I have been calling every day this past week only to get through to no one, all I get from the receptionist is they are out, they are with another customer, they will call you back, etc. I have gotten nothing from anybody in a week of calling. So basically what we are left with is a new unit that's nothing more than a paperweight because we cannot use it without proper registration that we paid for. Mistakes happening is one thing, but the lack of CustomerService, and or response is flat out disrespectful. Let me first start off by saying, we will NEVER again come to this location and most likely won't ever return to a Camping World after our experience today. My husband and I went in along with our two children. We've been here before and experienced good customer service from a gentleman who's name I cannot recall, but today was totally different. We've been fifth wheel shopping for a few months and had it narrowed down to two different manufactures. One of which Camping World carries and had the particular model we wanted to look at before going to another store. We were greeted and couldn't remember who we talked with a couple months back so we had another man help us and I do know his name and if management wishes to reach out to me, I would be happy to give it, but I won't leave it here. He started out by telling us my husband's F250 would tow "anything on the lot". After he said this, we knew he didn't know what he was talking about. We looked around for a while and decided to go in and sit down and discuss the model we were interested in. Normally, any time you're in the least bit interested in anything, whether it be a car or RV, you go in and talk about it. I'm not sure what gave him the impression we were ready to give him our money today, but he certainly was under that impression. He was kind enough to give our kiddos some crayons and a coloring book to play with when he thought we were going to just hand over the check, but then....... My husband told him we had a little thinking to do, he stood up and all but grabbed the crayons out of my 2 year old's hands, gathered up the papers and walked out the door without a word. He came back, tossed a card across the table to my husband and that was that. Because of this HORRID customer service, we won't ever be back. We decided against the model that Camping World carries after we left and even if we decided we wanted it, we'd rather drive 250+ miles away than go back here. What a joke. read more

I Bought a Coachman Freelander last June and returned from a 6 week long trip and found a few problems. I bought the motorhome in St George UT. at another dealer. They refused to take care of a couple of problems I discovered upon taking delivery. Their response was I got a great deal and they took a loss so I was out of luck. I immediately knew I would never go back or recommend that dealer. I called Camping World of Las Vegas and made an appointment for warranty work. It took a couple of weeks for the appointment due to Covid and the upsurge in RV sales and usage. I met with Kevin and gave him the list of issues. It took a little longer than I expected, but I also learned that warranty work on RV's works a lot different than warranty work on cars. There was a lot of problems with Camping World getting responses from the manufacturer. I also spoke with Mike, the Service Manager, who also related his frustration dealing with the manufacturers. I brought my motorhome home while parts were on order, so I could use the motorhome. I got a call from Kevin the end of January to notify me the parts were in. I brought the Coachman in, and 4 days later, I picked it up with all issues corrected. My wife and I could not be happier the way all the issues were corrected. I will definitely go back for all my service needs. They also have a great parts department. I have purchased several items there and will continue. Again thank you Kevin and Mike for all your help and reassurance that my Coachman will be well taken care of. read more

I bought my 5th wheel here about a year ago, and had a positive buying experience with Sten. I was even able to include a 4 year extended warranty on the used unit. A year later, this is my first experience needing service work done. And I am beyond impressed with the staff and service department! ~ Prompt with communication and returning my calls. ~ They were flexible with their full schedule, seeing as I have an upcoming trip and limited time to get necessary work done. ~ They worked with my extended warranty company to get just about everything needed taken care of for my deductible. (Which considering insurance warranty work is not always as simple or quick a process) ~ Quoted me a very fair price for new tires. In summary, my entire experience with this Camping World had exceeded my expectations! I am beyond impressed! It's very rare to find a big company like this that still upholds the small business ethics, "Valuing the Customer". After having a EU 7000is Honda generator stolen from me in August 2017, I decided to purchase another new EU 7000is from this Camping World. I told Mr. Flores, the Parts MGR I wanted him to bring my generator to my trailer that was parked outside their fence about 400 yards from their store. The man operating their forklift did not even secure my new generator to the pallet. I had to put my own strap on to try and secure the generator. Their forklift operator ran over the strap I had put on. And it subsequently yanked the generator to the ground thus damaging the unit. I told forklift operator to look what he just did. I had him call Mr.Flores, his boss. Flores came out and looked and saw the sustained damage. He stated he would just order me a new door which was all scarred/scratched up. And he told forklift employee to just drop the generator and make me push it another 200 yards to my trailer. I sent scathing email to Mr. Lenois, Camping World CEO complaining about Mr. Flores and his forklift operator. The very next morning I received a phone call from Regional MGR Mr. Robinson that he would be bringing a brand new EU 7000is from their Henderson, NV store to replace the damaged one. Upon Mr. Robinson, delivering my new generator Mr. Flores, was there and he was pissed that I received a new generator. About a month later the same generator went on sale for $ 3,800.00. A hundred & Fifty less than what I paid. I asked if they would credit me that said no emphatically. Even their Regional Mgr Mr. Robinson, said absolutely no also. Two months later they called the cops on me to leave their property outside their fence. I wasn't bothering anybody at all. The cops banged on my door at 4:00am. I asked the officer who called on me they "Camping World." I would never buy anything from this location ever again. Everyone I previously mentioned are total asswipes. My gf and I were there on June 14 looking at a Winnebago view. The salesman wouldn't even let us say or do anything with rv until he ran our credit. We were serious buyers. He told us it would be a soft credit pull which would fall off our report in 30 days. I just found out it was a hard credit pull so it sticks now for two yrs! Once he found we could afford it, he still wouldn't let us do anything with it until we bought it. We left obviously. read more
