The café was busy, but the service was friendly and the food arrived in generous portions. I ordered the half Belgian waffle with one egg, sausage, and bacon. Hubby went all in with an omelet, short stack, biscuits and gravy, plus a cinnamon roll to go! Everything was delicious, and we had plenty of leftovers. I even saved a few bites of breakfast meat for the fur babies to enjoy as a little treat when we got home. To our surprise, the café shares a building with a livestock auction, which is pretty freaking cool! We were secretly hoping to catch a live auction--or maybe spot Rip or Beth from Yellowstone--but apparently we came at the wrong time. We definitely plan to return when an auction is happening so we can get the full experience. Great food, friendly service (thanks to our server Nicole) , fun country atmosphere, and lots of quirky signs and cow-themed details to look at. We will definitely be back!

Cattlemen's is it. How so? I took my wife there a couple of weeks ago and, when we returned this week, the waitress told us we could sit anywhere and when she came over with coffee, she remembered that we sat at the same table the last time. Not only that but when she asked what we were doing that day and we told her she remembered what we had told her a week and a half earlier. : 0 And the food. Their biscuits are the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Not only are they massive but they are flaky and moist (not the dry hockey pucks you get at other places). And their gravy is flavorful and a perfect pairing. Unlike the pasty mess at other places that will remain nameless. the eggs are perfectly cooked, the sign of a great cook, and the variety is sure to please anyone in your group. If you want a breakfast place that is like being in mom's kitchen but better, you need to get to Cattlemen's. You won't regret it.

A big espresso machine that's going to pump out tons of espresso. It's got a comfy modern country feel to it. We sat ourselves at a table. Our server, Carolyn greeted us and got us some drinks started while we looked over the menu. The menu is very simple. A couple pages for breakfast with a handful of lunch items. A good variety of espresso based drinks and your basic beverages. Sometimes it's nice too have a small menu. It makes making food decisions easy! For breakfast I got the create your own omelet. My son got to create his own breakfast plate. I had to double check with the server on how to create this omelet. Most places gives you 3 options or so for your omelet than the rest is an add on. Not here. They list off 10 or so add ins and you can literally add every one of them if you wanted. For 12 bucks..... I got a 3 egg omelet with green peppers, onions, spinach, potatoes, mushrooms, steak, cheese and sour cream. Bro, that would be a 25 dollar omelet easy at some places in town. I got that heavy weight for 12 dollars! My son was not a crazy as me and got pancakes, egg, bacon with a biscuit. I can't begin to tell you that the size of my omelet was comparable to the size of my calf. It we massive! Stuffed with everything that I love. The steak was tender, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, I appreciate that the veggies were sautéed. I got a massive side of sour cream for it. It was so good! I ate about half and took the other half home for later. My son of course enjoyed his bacon, eggs and pancakes. He was so full that he didn't get to try the biscuit. But from looking at it, you can tell that bad boy was homemade. It was hefty! I love that I got to check this new joint out. It's only been open for 4 months. When we came in it was rather slow but with social media and reviews, I know they will start filling up them empty tables. Today was almost a flawless visit. Our server was really young and made some rookie mistakes. My son and I barely had 3 bites of our food before our bill was dropped off. As slow as it was, I didn't even get a refill on my coffee or wasn't even asked how our food was before the bill was dropped off. Not the best move in my opinion but she's young and still learning the industry. The bill could have been dropped off with our boxes. The steak was tender but there were several pieces of hard gristle in my omelet. Not the most fun thing to chew. And it's a personal thing for me with plastic table covers. I understand that it keeps the table clothes clean but I just not a fan of eating on them. Overall, this venue is very pretty and welcoming. The staff is super nice.
