Popped into this hidden tiki spot in Paso Robles during a quick stop, and it turned out to be a fun surprise. The bartender was incredibly friendly! While she was making our drinks, we chatted a bit about the local nightlife (which, according to her, is basically nonexistent) and my love for tiki bars. She mentioned there isn't another tiki spot within a two-hour radius, which sounded wild at first but honestly makes sense for the area. I figured The High Roller in Santa Barbara would probably be the closest. Drinks were made perfectly, and although I forgot to snap a photo, I ordered the orange chicken bowl, super flavorful with a nice spicy kick. The decor is pretty basic; you can tell it's a tiki bar, but it doesn't have that over-the-top immersive vibe that makes some spots really stand out. Would I come back if I'm in the area? Yes. Do you need reservations? Nope.

Christian from Austin Hope recommended the place when I said I wanted to check it out. He called out the spicy green beans which were plentiful and very good. The bartender recommended the mai tai. There are two kinds - one had something extra, I can't recall. But we both preferred the basic one. Also got the spam masubi since I get that once every couple of years. Enjoyed it. As far as tiki bars go, this one is enjoyable.

Alex and Ellie were amazing I will be back drinks are 10/10 I recommend the lotus flower bomb

Had such a great experience at Cane Tiki! Alex and Ellie were absolutely amazing and made the whole experience so much better. They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. The atmosphere, drinks, and food were already great, but their service really stood out. They were personable, fun, and made us feel right at home. Definitely ask for Alex and Ellie if you stop by they're the kind of people who make you want to come back!

Tropical drinks on your list? Then this is your spot. We stopped here while we waited for our dinner reservation . I ordered a lava frozen cocktail ( half strawberry daiquiri and half pina colada with the a shot of coconut rum). Yum yum take me to paradise! My husband ordered a beer. We enjoyed being able to talk to the bartender.

If you're looking for a unique drink, come to Cane Tiki Room. It's also a unique restaurant for the downtown area. I had to get the Lapu Lapu because it came in the cutest pig mug I was very tempted to buy (one of the few you can purchase). The mix of light and dark rums + citrus were also up my alley. My boyfriend liked his Taro Taro, which had coconut and ube (emphasis on ube). We grabbed dinner here too, and honestly, I found it average. I originally wanted the ahi poke, but that wasn't available on the Sunday night we were there, so I went for a chicken teriyaki bowl. I found it somewhat strange to see it topped with avocados, would've loved more fresh, steamed vegetables. Boyfriend got the firecracker shrimp that was straight forward. For $20-$25 per dish, I would say find food elsewhere. The server was fine. They were good about checking in on us, and there weren't too many people for a Sunday night. Overall, I'd say come here for drinks. I saw they have a happy hour, which is worth taking advantage of.

The vibe is on point--fun and exactly what you want from a tiki bar. The service was excellent. They were friendly, attentive. And the drinks? Dangerous in the best way. Our punch bowl was a blast to share, and the holiday shooters were served in cute shot glasses... let's just say they definitely got us lit If you're looking for strong, creative cocktails, a killer atmosphere, and a fun night out, Cane Tiki Room is a must. Can't wait to come back!

Nothing like walking into a bar right when it opens, instead of closing one down. We arrived at Cane's, my buddy and I were the first two customers in there, as we took our seats at the end of the bar expecting a third, my girlfriend as soon as she finished work. While she had been to Cane's before neither of us had. We were greeted and provided menus for food and drink. With dinner coming shortly, we passed on the appetizer menus and ordered a few rounds of drinks. The ambience was great with that South Pacific motif and use of bamboo (or fake bamboo). Loved how many of the unique drinks were served in coconuts or glassed like a scorpion, pig or parrot. Would I go back? Yeah I would with friends. It's a great and fun place to start an evening.

The Tiki Room is definitely a great spot for excellent cocktails and tasty snacks. My wife and I popped in for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The cocktail options are endless--fun, quirky, and full of character. For drinks, we tried the Lapu Lapu, Green Flash, and the Scorpion (yes, it came out in flames ). All three were refreshing and well-balanced. On the food side, we went with the Pork & Veggie Spring Rolls, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Spam Musubi, and the Pork & Shrimp Dumplings. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling for small plates. But that dipping sauce with the dumplings... you could seriously put that shhh on anything. Absolutely amazing. We sat at the bar, and our bartender (the only female working that day) was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Wish I had remembered her name.

I came here for drinks and vibes--and Cane's absolutely delivered. I didn't end up eating (even though the food looked amazing--definitely coming back for that), but the drinks? Let me tell you. I started with the Phantom, which was absolutely delicious--balanced, flavorful, and just the right amount of mysterious. After that, I went rogue and ordered the Dragon Slayer. Now... was it tasty? Not exactly. It was strong. Like stare-into-the-abyss-and-it-stares-back strong. But honestly, the presentation was top tier--it looked so good, I didn't even care. The ambiance is laid-back and fun, with a hint of tropical drama in the best way. Everyone I met--staff and guests--was genuinely warm and welcoming. I ended up chatting with a few people at the bar and loved the whole energy of the place. Next time I'll plan to stay for food, but even just stopping in for a couple drinks turned into a highlight of my Paso Robles trip. Come for the cocktails, stay for the people--and maybe skip the Dragon Slif you're not feeling brave.

Cute little tiki bar with really amazing drinks and decor. The bartenders are friendly and helpful without being too intrusive. The vibe is chill and a great place for drinks before or after dinner.

This year, I've embraced the Sippin Santa menu. Absolutely enjoyed everything about this place. Excellent drinks, Mongolian Beef, and Potstickers. Seated in a nice booth. Hope to come back this week.

Great staff, great service, came in for poke so I didn't try any of the drinks. The vibe is super cute. I love the seats and the decor and how colorful the menu is. Will have to try the drinks in the future. Ahi Tuna 5/5 stars- super fresh and the most perfect green and fresh avocado slices. Will have to come back and try other items.

We loved it! My group of friends went to Paso for the weekend for wine tasting and ended up at at tiki room two nights in a row! The atmosphere was perfect and fun! The drinks were cute and we loved having a table to fit us all! Staff was friendly too! (And the giant bowl of green beans was on point!)

First, you line up at the entrance, then you ring the doorbell, but only once as the sign warns. You are greeted through a peekaboo window in the door where they ask your party size. You are then taken in groups of three or less to a vestibule where they lock down your phones so you can't take any pictures and then you are seated in the dark and moody atmosphere. They don't split checks, so be ready to order as a group. There's a 90 minute time limit as well, so don't dawdle. Highlights of our order included the Butter Pecan Old Fashioned (so good!) and the Banana Daiquiri. We stayed for the full 90 minutes and when we left there was a long line waiting to get in. Go early if you want to get one of the few seats inside or be prepared to wait. We loved our experience.

We arrived just minutes after 5pm on a Thursday, with only one group ahead of us -- about a 5-minute wait before we were ushered in. They do check IDs, so bring one, or find somewhere else to drink. After the secret knock and moving a book in the entryway library, the door opens into a 1920s-style bar: heavy, dark wood, and very limited seating, with just 8 seats at the bar and two larger seating areas for groups. I believe our bartender's name was Matt -- the last of the original employees since Eleven Twenty-Two opened eight years ago. He was great, walking my girlfriend through the menu when she asked for recommendations, and sharing some great insight when we asked about the bar's history and the mixology behind the drinks. She started the evening with a Mexican Firing Squad -- very margarita-like, with tequila, lime, house-made grenadine, and Angostura. I wasn't quite as adventurous and wanted to keep things simple, so my first round was a martini, stirred and dry. The fun didn't stop there, since we had 90 minutes to relax before our dinner reservation. Round two was a Slow and Foamy -- a lemongrass- and fennel-infused vodka with egg white. It was an interesting drink; flavors you wouldn't expect to work together, worked together beautifully. It's an in-house creation by the female bartender, whose name I didn't catch. Torn between a Sidecar and a Manhattan, I went with the Sidecar, since I hadn't found a good one anywhere else in Paso. Matt poured a really nice one -- not too sweet, with a sugar-rimmed glass and well-balanced simple syrup. Like every drink that night, it was beautifully balanced. We finished with a Banana Daiquiri -- their unique take on the drink, without the slushy ice or fake banana flavor. This was probably the best drink of the night for both of us, and we shared it. It's not cheap, but a night out for drinks never is. That wouldn't stop me from bringing out-of-town guests here -- they'd love this kind of historical, speakeasy-style setting. I really appreciated the staff's attention and professionalism. We had a great time. Thanks, Eleven Twenty-Two!

The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere (something I always pay attention to). Service was excellent--attentive without being overbearing.
