I saw an ad on Facebook and it caught my attention. I went to their website which was so clear and easy to navigate. I made an appointment for bi-yearly (they offer one time or multiple recurring options) cleaning. The prices are super affordable and reasonable. I got a reminder through email confirming my appointment time and day ( you can pick the day after your trash day - which is what I did so that the cans are empty. We've been using Canology's service for quite a few months now. They are always on time and very thorough. The cans are spotless and deodorized. They have different service plans so you can decide how often you want them to come and clean and how many cans you want cleaned. You just make sure your cans are out before 8am the day after your trash pick up and that's it. No more garbage smell. No maggots and flies from the compost garbage can in the hot summer months. Honestly a no-brainer. For years our cans have stunk - bad. Esp the compost one. I would spray them down and occasionally even get in there with soap to try and clean them. I was able to get them better but still not totally effective, it would not last and it wasn't a fun process. Then I found Canology and honestly its the best decision. They have a slick process with online ordering, phone call and SMS reminders, and flexible options (monthly, bi-monthly, etc). I do quarterly and that works for me. Prob would be nice to have it monthly but I can live with a little stink simply because its sooooo much less than it was before. Its cost effective with great service and great customer service. First time today. What a pleasure. A friendly professional, who took an extra five minutes to wait because our lawn had just been mowed and the can filled. So happy this service exists. I am super happy with the results. They were so thorough and tackled my green bin-- which smelled like rotting vomit even when it was closed. I feel for the guy who cleaned my bins as he was really getting in there, but he did an amazing job. Someone on Nextdoor had recommended Canology a couple months ago.... How did I not know that this service had existed before then? I've had the same garbage cans for the 4 years that I've been here and who knows how long they were here before me. I've never once cleaned them, even though I think about it on a regular basis. It just seemed like a gross task that never made it to the top of the to-do list. Finally last month I signed up for a cleaning, since I was having construction done that didn't get completed on time I was able to move my appointment to this month. The first cleaning just happened today. The website says that if your cans are really gross that they might not be able to get everything and it might need a second cleaning. I definitely thought that was going to happen with mine. Not only did they get EVERYTHING, these cans look almost new. I was so impressed when I got home and they were sitting there looking so clean and fresh. I am so happy with this service and will be using it again when the cans need cleaning. My trash cans were terrible. Mold growing out the trash can, flies living in the green bin. The thought of cleaning them left the stench of puke in my throat. But due to a really well placed facebook ad, I found Canology. This last week they came to my house in Livermore and cleaned all three cans. My cans were stinky! The cat food cans, even rinsed, were creating a smell in the recycle bin and the garbage and green waste were equally bad. I opted for the monthly service. Loved the fact that the service could be ordered completely online. Got the schedule via email and just added a reminder to my calendar, but also receive their reminder the day before service. I would suggest the website change the title of the bi-monthly service- I wasn't sure if that meant twice a month, or every other month! The service leaves my cans sparkling clean and non-stinky. Gone are the days where your bin's odoriferous eminations make it practically impossible to take out the trash every night. We opted for the quarterly plan and like clockwork, every 3 months, Canology comes by to clean all three of our bins (regular garbage, recycling, and our green waste). Communication with the company is great, their pricing is reasonable, and they're operated by good people. AND you can't miss their truck when they come by! As we live in a planned community and we do not have yards we are required to keep our garbage cans in our garage and without Canology cleaning them every month, the smell would start to become overpowering.
