    Greek Salad
    Pat C.

I dine at Copley's every time I visit P.S. The food is always piping hot and delicious and the servers really know how to time the arrival of each course. The outdoor seating under large, beautiful trees is mesmerizing. I started with the Greek salad. The portion was perfect for one - not too filling. It came with grilled octopus, spiced mango and spiced feta. The oregano dressing was really the hit of this dish, sweet yet earthy. I'd love to have the recipe. My main course was the seafood fettuccini. It was lightly covered in a Romesco sauce (red pepper sauce that is Smokey and nutty) but it was a little too light for my liking. Not enough bite! However, the fresh octopus, salmon and jumbo shrimp were hot and tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Despite my disappointment with the sauce this dish was still a "10" no doubt. My friend ordered the pork chop. It was tender, delicious and cooked perfectly. Definitely see the photos. Copley's cannot get better than it already is. BTW our dinner bill was the lowest since we've been in town.

Dinner at Copley's was one of those rare Palm Springs nights where everything just... worked. Atmosphere-wise, the entrance alone gives you that tucked-away garden energy--intimate, slightly romantic, but still social. It feels like you found something, not like you followed a crowd. First off--no reservation, and still got seated on a Sunday. That alone deserves a moment, because if you know the scene here, that's practically a small miracle. It set the tone immediately: welcoming, unpretentious, but still very much elevated. Service was sharp without being stiff. Attentive, intuitive, and paced exactly right. No hovering, no disappearing act--just that effortless flow you want when you're out to enjoy yourself. They accommodated my request at the bar for a spicy non alcoholic lemonade and upon bringing it over compliments the drink saying " this looks good, you're on to something " #delicious Now the food. Visually, every plate came out composed like it knew it was being watched. The seared tuna was the standout and my personal choice. It also happened to be the special that evening. Perfectly rare, clean cuts, sitting in a rich, glossy sauce that actually complemented instead of overpowering. Balanced, not messy. The braised short rib was deeply comforting--tender, well-executed, with a sauce that leaned classic rather than overly trendy. Smart choice. Dessert sealed it. That dense, lavendercake with the green tea ice cream was indulgent without crossing into heavy. Sweet, but controlled. The kind of finish that makes you slow down instead of regret your life choices.

The location is great with easy access and plenty of free parking. The courtyard dining is perfect with tables spaced out for private conversations and quiet. Service is stellar from the greeting to the waitstaff. The bar is ready to make anything you want. Food is prepared to order and near perfection.

Came here on a girls trip. I had the special/short rib. And the portion was large and the short rib was perfectly cooked. The service was amazing and attentive. Very luxurious. One of my favorite places thus far

We had the best meal here! The setting was gorgeous and perfect to kick off a birthday weekend. We ordered a ton of food and shared for the table and it was a verifiable feast. Our server was seasoned, on pointe and ready whenever necessary to deliver a great experience. The whole meal was a beautiful dining experience that left us full, happy, and satiated. I should have wrote this sooner so I remember the dishes we loved but the experience as a whole was a great place to enjoy and celebratory dinner. The salmon, the Cesar, the steak, the pork chop - all delicious!

Solid 5! Located close to the heart of Palm Springs. Easy parking in a dedicated parking lot. Charming venue. Wonderful menu selection with options for everyone. Delicious food. Outstanding service! My group of three visited on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived, it was light outside. By the time we left, it was dark and the beautiful twinkle lights lit up the expansive outdoor dining area, making it look magical. Dogs are allowed on the patio. :) Since it was hot during our visit, we chose to sit inside. The indoor dining area was a bit smaller, but simple and charming. The vibe was relaxed and social. There were several groups celebrating special occasions. Some dressed in semi-formal attire. We selected the Pot Stickers, Manhattan Steak, 2 Beet Salads, the Sesame Seed Crusted Tofu, the Ahi Special. Everything came out in the proper order and in a timely matter. Our food was artistically plated and in good portion. The steak was generously sized looking larger than stated on the menu. The sauces, flavors and textures of everything was incredibly delicious! Our server, Raymond B., was exceptional. He was polite, friendly and perfectly attentive, not annoyingly attentive as some can be. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Thank you Raymond B. and the entire Copleys' team!

One of the best dinners I've had in my life! Starting out with the venue, it was so pretty at night, the place had a great vibe! People were really friendly. The staff is top notch! Polite, friendly, helpful. Every drink and dish we ordered from appetizers to dessert was just amazing!! The presentation, the taste and the portion were big! So unexpected from an upscale restaurant to have big portions. If you haven't been to this place, you must go!

First, the ambience under the stars in Palm Springs makes you feel incredibly relaxed. The cocktails were handcrafted and tasted superb. We ordered the duck and the bermundi fish and we were blown away by the freshness of the meats and the delicious flavors of the dish. A wonderful romantic night out in Palm Springs. We had a fantastic server who provided great insights.

A Palm Springs landmark restaurant with an unmatchable vibe! If you visit Palm Springs, then a reservation at Copley's is almost a mandatory requirement because it is the epitome of the restaurant scene here. Food (4.5/5) Expect New American cuisine when dining here. There are some daily specials, but the menu items have remained the same for years and are still delicious. Mandatory orders at this restaurant include the bread and butter for two, Copleys Caesar salad, and the New York steak. One of the most famous menu items at this restaurant is the Copleys Caesar salad because instead of regular bread croutons, the restaurant uses pan fried pineapple chunks as the replacement for the bread croutons. The combination breaks the conventional barriers of a traditional Caesar salad and is one of their more creative items to order (do not miss out on this!) The New York steak is also a solid choice here for a hearty meal and the caramelized onions on top pair with the steak perfectly. The truffle Parmesan fries are a little overkill but can be shared generously with the table. The dessert selection is interesting because the chocolate soufflé is more of a molten lava cake than an actual soufflé; yet, the dish itself is not too bad flavor wise. Out of all the items on the dessert menu I'd still order the chocolate soufflé as it was not too heavy compared to the other options. Service (4/5) The service is a little spotty since the restaurant is almost entirely outdoors in a large courtyard. If the restaurant is busy, expect to wait to find your waiter or get a water refill. The workers here are always in a good mood and are knowledgeable of the menu as well. Ambiance (5/5) A truly one of a kind restaurant inside the Cary Grant Estate where diners get incredible views of the San Jacinto mountain range (plan your reservation near sunset for an incredible experience). The old school charm of this restaurant makes for a special occasion as well. Opt out for the limited indoor seating and sit in the outdoor courtyard so you can take advantage of the outdoor views. Limited bar seating is available for people without a reservation, but I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation online as the restaurant is usually fully booked throughout the year.

Probably one of the better restaurant experiences I've had. The food is phenomenal. The view is great no matter where you sit. The cocktails are great and the menu has a little something for everyone. The pictures are self explanatory

Copley's was absolutely amazing. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top tier, and the setting is just beautiful. It already feels special, but knowing it's in the former Cary Grant guesthouse makes it even cooler. It has that classic old Palm Springs charm while still feeling elegant and welcoming. Such a memorable dinner and definitely a place we'll come back to :)

We celebrated our 36th anniversary tonight. To top it off, we ran into Cary Grant. It was such a pleasure spending a little time with him.

My husband and I celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary tonight at Copley's Restaurant. The short ribs were absolutely delicious, and the setting was just beautiful. To top it all off, we even ran into one of our favorite actors, Cary Grant. He was so gracious, and it was such a pleasure spending a little time with him. It made an already special evening even more memorable.

If you can't get a reservation, bar seats are first come, first served, and I can see why people line up for them. This was probably the most expensive meal of our trip, and at times you definitely feel it. A Belvedere martini with no vermouth for $27 made me laugh a little. This isn't Vegas. That said, much of the food was excellent. The Duck Liver Pâté was incredible, and the Red Thai Curry Mussels were unique without overwhelming heat. The Cacio e Pepe was one of the standout dishes of the week. Those thick noodles were fantastic. We also ordered the Steak Frites and upgraded to filet. Unfortunately, it came out overcooked, and I asked for it to be removed from the check. On the other hand, the Smoked Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop was perfectly prepared and incredibly moist. Dessert finished strong. The Aniston's Pavlova was excellent, especially the Chantilly cream. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious too, although $15 for cookies is definitely a Palm Springs moment. Pricey? Very. Worth experiencing? Absolutely.

While we were seated, The hostess went back and forth from checkin area and the dinning room. She looked panicked and kept talking to different staff members while we waited. Finally she said to come with her to our seat. It was now 8:40pm. She took use to a corner booth that was very small. I couldn't fit in it and my guest who's a size 34 had a hard time sitting in his seat. So they said to just wait there for now. So we was left standing in the walk way to the outdoor patio area. It was very uncomfortable to be standing there, while they tried to figure out seating. We stood there for just over 5mins. Then she said the only thing they had was a high top in the other corner. I said no to that, so they left us standing again for another 5 mins. Finally they sat us down at a table, right next to where we were standing. It had very low lighting, it was so dark we had to use our cell phones to read the menu. My issues is why leave your guest standing in the middle of the dinning room in a walk way for so long. then rush you to place your full order at one time. The kitchen must have been closing up. Now, the food and drinks. The Pork Chip was excellent and the Mussels were too. The Steak was very small dried out and over cooked. The Onion Tart was cold and soggy. The cocktails were great. Only issue we had, was the price of a shot of gin. My guest wanted to try it. We were charged $18. for it. My cocktail with the same gin was $21. This was a Birthday dinner for my guest. I would've thought they would have given him a desert like they did to the others that night, but I was wrong. Over all the evening was an uncomfortable $240. that I wish I wouldn't have done. There are many other fine dinning restaurants that offer better service and food for what we experienced. I don't know what happened, but I'Il be sharing my experience with others.

Neil was welcoming, accommodating, and personally secured a table for our party of six when we returned after 9pm. His hospitality and the venue concept itself are excellent. Unfortunately, the service we received afterward from another staff member, Billy, did not match that standard. The venue is extremely dark, so we used the small table lamp to read the menu. Billy instructed us not to use it because it "wasn't the vibe of the establishment," and told us to use our phone lights instead. The tone was abrupt and dismissive. Around 9:50pm he announced last call. When one guest ordered, his response was, "I guess if you must." Others asked for a moment to decide and were repeatedly rushed. We explained we weren't aware they closed as 10, as Neil had told us it would be open seating after 10. He replied, "Yeah, well I'm closing tonight and I'm closing at 10." When drinks were delivered, they were set down forcefully. As we were leaving, a member of our group overheard Billy speaking negatively about us to another employee, including mocking someone in our group for needing glasses to read the menu and implying she was intoxicated (she wasn't). When this was addressed directly, he did not apologize and instead insisted we had overstayed, which is inaccurate. We ordered promptly after being told last call and left after finishing our drinks. We are locals who intentionally brought out-of-town guests here because we wanted them to have a great experience. It's disappointing that one staff member's conduct overshadowed what should have been a highlight of their visit. I won't assign motives, but I will note that Billy's demeanor noticeably shifted after the final member of our group, who happens to be Black, arrived. I cannot determine why, only that the change in tone was clear. Neil has created something special here. However, a venue's reputation ultimately depends on how guests are treated when ownership is not present. Based on this visit, there is a significant gap between the hospitality the owner provides and the service delivered in his absence. I hope Neil takes a close look at what happens when he's not present, because with the right staff, this could easily be a place we'd want to return to.

Honestly wanted their brunch menu but it was too late. The waitress working was basically doing everything as she was the only one on deck. Hostess, waitress and bartender. It did start to pick up while we were there. Drink wise, one of their Bloody Mary which comes with a slice of bacon and their lemon drop. Both very tasty. Food, an order of the ahi tuna salad. Seared tuna on top of mixed greens with crunchy onion, tomatoes, avocados and a really delicious ginger dressing. Quite tasty. The beet salad with added chicken. Beets tossed in a mixed greens with feta and roasted chicken. That too was quite nice. Lastly the veggies burger. Simple burger Pattie with all the trimming and served with seasoned fries. Of course the truffle fries were needed which was part of the happy hour. I can truly say that this place has amazing seasoned fries that's always a must for us. I didn't expect to see a different menu as were used to brunch but it was nice. Service was good for us as it wasn't too busy when we arrived with only one waitress working. It's a place that brunch is amazing hence we're alway back for that. I can say I've tried their other menu now.

I forgot his name but the bartender was very nice and you could tell he likes his job. We got there and ordered a drink, and we're lucky enough to get a free order of some delicious bread sticks. The drink was very tasty for a decent price, so I would come back for more drinks.

It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
