Once we mentioned that we were there for the Girls Brunch, it honestly felt like the demeanor toward our table changed. The service was extremely slow. We waited around 30 minutes between some of the food items, our drinks were forgotten, and we were rarely checked on throughout the meal. I'm usually pretty understanding when restaurants are busy or short-staffed, but that didn't seem to be the case during our visit. Between the long waits, forgotten drinks, and lack of even a simple "How is everything?", the experience became frustrating, especially since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were mediocre as well, so the overall experience just didn't feel worth the time. I really wanted to enjoy this place and the Girls Brunch seemed like such a fun idea, but based on our experience, I unfortunately won't be returning.

The Midas Touch was a colorful spicy margarita with El Tesoro Maybourne Edition Reposado, Empirical Ayuuk, Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre, saffron, lemon, and honey. Big in Japan was a Gold Rush variation with Hibiki Harmony, sudachi honey, lemon, sansho pepper, and yuzu bitters. There are better, more interesting cocktail bars all over L.A., but I'd recommend the Maybourne Bar if you're staying at the hotel or otherwise looking for an upscale bar in downtown Beverly Hills.
