Fresh bread with a in house made dipping sauce

We wanted to continue to support Restaurant Week so my daughter chose this place for dinner and after viewing the menu, I made the reservation. The offering was a three course meal at $50 per person, very reasonable. We arrived on a week day evening and were promptly seated by the kind hostess. Water and the most delicious fresh bread was brought to the table. Our server Nicole was fantastic and took such great care of us. Being that this is an Italian restaurant, I again tried to order a Peach Bellini. Another fail, I was brought a glass of Prosecco. Where was the peach puree?? I promptly sent it back and had a glass of wine instead. I guess I am going to have to return to Italy to get my Bellini. We started with the Pear and Gorgonzola Bruschetta and the Sicilian Arancini. We enjoyed both of these appetizers. Our entrees then arrived. I ordered the Branzino which I found to be tasty. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala and my daughter ordered the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. The Chicken Marsala was just ok, we have had better. Being a vegetarian, my daughter ordered the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. This dish had a very odd odor and she only took a couple bites before she stopped. We should have sent it back but she didn't want to make a fuss. The best part of our experience here was the entertainment. They featured a singer/comedian named Seth Robichaux and he was fabulous. He did impressions, sang, and added in a little comedy. He really engaged with all the patrons. He was so much fun! I wish more local places offered nightly entertainment.

Had dinner here and to see Seth Robichaux, No Filter All Glitter Show. The food we ordered that included a pear salad, meatballs, lasagna and bruschetta were all good. We were alittle disappointed they were out of 3 desserts and a couple gelatos so we settled with vanilla gelato. The service was good and dine in area nice. The thing that made our evening experience great was the live performance by Seth who did a variety of songs and comedy for 3 hours with only a couple of short breaks. He also has a guest comedian. Overall, the show and dinner were a fun and great time.

Always a great experience here! This time we tried some dishes from their regular menu like Gnocchi and pasta Brunello. Both were excellent. I really love their bruschetta and margarita pizza. Service is so great, our servers Matthew and Loretta were amazing. Don't forget to order their cannoli, it is THE BEST in town!

Wonderful Italian restaurant on Ft Apache. Its a large open space modern and clean. We went for my Moms birthday, specifically to hear the violin player. There was only one server this night, so the service was a little slow. But considering there were to large parties celebrating birthdays it was understandable. The menu was different then most Italian not filled with old school items. The meal started with freshly made bread that had a light tomatoe oil based dipping sauce. I had a shared pear salad and chicken in gorganzola sauce topped with crushed pistachios. The salad was huge. Three or four could have shared this. The chicken to me was a bit salty, and could have been more tender. The vegtables on the plate were perfectly cooked. Other family members had a spicy rigatoni with ground sausage, chicken pesto over tagliatelle, salmon with vegtables, a huge portion of chicken parm. But the highlight from what I tasted, was a pasta what was like little pouches filled with ricotta cheese and pear, topped with a gorganzola sauce. The dish was delicate and creamy, very delicious. We ended the meal with complimentary tiramusu for the birthday girl and a slice of lemoncello cake we passed aroung. The restaurant is fairly new sister restaurant to Brunello in Sun City. Would definetly go back to try other dishes from the large menu. Its a wonderful place to celebrate a special event.

We made it for dinner and everything was delicious! Service was fast and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our server Matt was very attentive and treated us like family. My pesto pasta with burrata and shrimp had crushed pistachio and it was seriously perfect. My wife's carbonara was light and flavorful. My sisters Mediterranean salad was huge and very vibrant and fresh. Everything was great and we really enjoyed this restaurant. We need to come back again for the pizza and Cioppino!

A charming local business with incredible food and service. When you come inside you're transported to an Italian backyard. The food was fresh! The dessert (crème brûlée) was the best I've had in this city. We will be back time and time again.

We had dinner tonight along with live music. The ambience was warm and upbeat. Very contemporary and well lit. We enjoyed the food. We would have preferred the ham to be slices vs it being cubed. A tad bit salty but that's expected. The beer was ice cold which always make dinner good.

A standout new spot for Italian comfort with polish Cantinetta came highly recommended by a neighbor, and it turned out to be a true neighborhood gem. Only three months in, yet the kitchen is already executing with confidence and consistency. The space features an open-concept bar and live entertainment on weekends. A violinist was performing during our visit, adding a refined, old-world touch that complemented the warm, festive holiday décor perfectly. Service was seamless from the start. We were greeted by the maître d', Matthew, and seated immediately. Our server, Garen, was knowledgeable, attentive, and paced the meal well. Fresh, warm bread arrived with a flavorful dipping sauce--always an appreciated detail when done right. We began with the Sicilian Arancini, which were crisp on the outside, tender inside, and generously filled with seasoned beef, peas, and mozzarella. The vodka sauce was rich, balanced, and downright addictive--absolutely a must-order. The Cozze e Vongole al Prosecco followed, featuring plump mussels and clams bathed in a buttery, aromatic broth. The sauce alone was worthy of extra bread and easily one of the highlights of the meal. For entrées, the Osso Buco Stuffed Ravioli delivered beautifully on flavor. The filling was deeply savory and well-seasoned, though the pasta itself leaned slightly more al dente than expected. The Godfather Pizza (12") was a hearty, meat-forward pie with well-balanced flavors and a satisfying crust--extremely filling and perfect for sharing. From thoughtful presentation to quality ingredients and execution, every dish reflected care and intention. While pricing is on the higher side, the quality fully justifies it. After scanning the menu, there are plenty of other dishes calling our name, so a return visit is already planned. Cantinetta is an excellent find for those seeking elevated Italian comfort food with a lively, neighborhood vibe.

This was the best service experience I've had in a long time! Matthew was friendly, attentive, and made our first visit her very welcoming. The decor is fun & tasteful with comfortable seating. The open kitchen is a cool feature. The food was delicious and you can tell it is cooked with love. Good value for the portion size. Drinks were delicious (highly recommend trying a martini). So glad we stumbled upon this place & will definitely be back!

Cantinetta is a very nice Italian Restaurant and Bar with a Sofia Loren Theme inside. It's very fancy inside and your meals come out on the most amazing plates ever. The menu has all your usual Italian foods that you expect to find but it also offers many plates that you seldom see on an Italian menu like salmon carbonara, beet carpaccio, and chocolate spaghetti. They started us off with bread and a sun-dried tomato oil. We started off with the deep fried eggplant appetizer. For being deep fried they did a very good job because it seemed free of oil and had a nice crispy exterior. The eggplant flesh was very sweet and tasted more like white eggplant. This came embellished with walnut sauce. For my main I tried the lunch chicken piccata. For a lunch size it was very generous and was a good amount of pounded chicken breast in a lemon butter caper sauce with nicely prepared fresh mixed vegetables and potatoes. My husband had the rigatoni picante. It was slightly different than the usual pasta and sausage dish because instead of regular sausage it was made with ndija spicy spreadable sausage made with Calabrian Chili so it was very spicy. We were way too full to try the dessert pastas but managed to try a gelato 1/2 Amareno Cherry and 1/2 Pistachio both were good but the cherry had a creamier richer texture. Our server was friendly helpful and efficient. Even the cook was friendly too.

By far the best meal we had in Vegas and eating out in a long time. It is away from the strip but 20 mins drive and free parking can't be beat. It was well worth it. Our server Matthew explained the background of the restaurant and went over the menu with us. The cioppino was topped with oven baked flatbread like a pie and served table side. Peel the crispy pieces of the flatbread and soak in the cioppino sauce. I can't remember the last time I had pollo all parmesana that was still moist and tender.

Frankie's Uptown is known as a Steelers gathering spot, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for: energetic, welcoming, and a great place to catch a game. I ordered the stromboli, and I'm convinced it turned my entire day around. I walked in hungry and left wondering if I should cancel my dinner plans for the rest of the week because nothing was going to top it. Our server was the perfect combination of sweet and sassy--quick with a smile, quick with a comeback, and she made our table of six feel like regulars. Great service can make a meal memorable, and she absolutely did. Speaking of our group... all six of us left happy, which may be the restaurant equivalent of witnessing a solar eclipse. Getting six people to agree on anything is a miracle, but Frankie's pulled it off. Whether you're there to cheer on the Steelers, enjoy a great meal, or just spend time with friends, Frankie's Uptown delivers on all three. They were seating guests on the 2nd room. We were greeted and walked to our table in front of the open kitchen. We had a very fast speaking staff member who went thru the menu. It's not a big menu so although we were not able to follow along, we looked at the menu and finally understood what he was recommending. Luckily he was not our waiter. Edith was our waitress and she was amazing. Our food was brought out at a timely manner. We changed out our plates at least 2x so we can enjoy the next dish on a clean plate. Our water glass was always full. We had a small table for 2 but always made sure we had enough room for the dishes we ordered so we can enjoy. Mind you, we did a wine flight for each of us so there was always 6 glasses of wine on the table. The food was phenomenal. Portion, flavor, each dish was just perfection. Whipped Brie. Omfg, I could eaten just this all night with my wine. Garlic shrimp on toast. Why did I only order one plate. It was so gorgeous. I had to take small bite so that the dish would last longer. Gouda fries with a dip on the side. Heaven sent. Wagyu, medium rare. Cannot be cooked more perfectly. Went amazing with the cab wine. Kat was nice and went around making sure everyone had a nice dinner. I had to share how perfect our dinner was at Ada's. Will be back.

The steak was flavorful, cooked…read moreperfectly to order (medium rare) and great standalone, but the chimichurri sauce took it to the next level- probably one of the best chimichurri I've tasted. No need for more than a butter knife. The broccolini was flavorfully charred. Top tier entree I would come back for. I also ordered the home cut fries with garlic aioli. The fries were less than desirable. They're a thicker cut and more of a mushy fry. My preference is a thinner extra crispy fry so not my bag. The garlic aioli also lacked flavor so most of that was left untouched. I'm a fan of pandan and had high hopes for the panna cotta but it did not hit. The panna cotta on its own lacked a light sweetness you'd expect and somehow tasted egg-y with no trace of pandan flavor. It was served with a berry compote of some sort which helped with the flavor. Texture was as expected for a panna cotta. So panna cotta alone I would give this a 2/10. Definitely would not have tolerated the panna cotta without the berry but boosted it up to a 4/10. I took the lemon bars home and gave to a friend who loves lemon bars and her feedback was they were really good. Good amount of tart and sweetness but nothing standout. Olive oil cake was a little dry for my preference and didn't take more than a bite. At this point I was full and it didn't leave me with a need to over indulge. I ordered the Suprise Me red wine which was just ok. I should have selected a better pairing for the steak and I'm used to a heavier, Cabernet Sauvignon, but did not see anything on the menu that really matched that flavor palette. the Surprise Me choice did not particularly enhance the steak entree but was decent alone. The vibe is more of a lively, young but mature crowd. I dined alone and had to put in noise cancelling headphones to match more of an intimate dining experience I was going for. Just a preference but something to be aware of. This place lacks any stand out identifying features. As a guest to the area, I found it a little hard to find. It is across from the CraftHaus and Mescal which have prominent signage. Being in the artsy downtown district, there is plenty of paid street parking that costs about seven dollars for two hours. Paid parking is from 8 AM to 10 PM I believe. Service was a little slow. I was seated for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before I was even greeted. A little annoying, considering she could have just taken my drink order and I would've been fine sipping on that while waiting for my order to be taken. So overall, what I recommend this place to friends? Yes but for the Wagyu entree alone. I would also caveat that recommendation with all of the other above preferences regarding vibe and wine selection. It would not be a top recommendation for someone coming to Vegas though. There is too much competition that would overshadow this restaurant easily.
