We came in for a casual evening hoping to be able to grab a few seats at the bar. I'm glad that's possible in casinos and you don't have to always dress up to eat at a higher end restaurant. The bar seating here is very comfortable. We ordered a few lasagna's and some meatballs to share. Both were very good. I don't typically see lasagna with béchamel sauce so I was excited theirs is made that way. It adds additional flavor and richness which I enjoy. Tonight, I was in the mood for some Italian, so I decided to try out Osteria, located inside Red Rock Casino in Summerlin. It wasn't busy for a Saturday evening. I was able to just walk in without a reservation, and they got me a table for one. Beautiful Italian restaurant. service was good overall, and the friendly staff made the experience pleasant. I ordered their sausage pizza and their popular Cacio e Pepe. I enjoyed them both.. not out-of-this-world taste-wise, but still solid. Great Italian restaurant inside of the Red Rock Casino. It's a little different from your traditional Italian places and that is a compliment. The seating is comfortable and tables aren't right on top of each other. The service is friendly and dishes come out in a timely manner. Our dishes were very good but I do have one complaint and that is that they don't offer side dishes of pasta. I really wanted just a simple plate of pasta with some marinara sauce and nearly all Italian places do offer it but apparently they stopped doing so here. Not sure why. They have such a wonderful happy hour. I had a little bit of time before heading to a movie, so I popped in and sat at the bar. It's so relaxing and great views. If you don't care for the "soggy center" that usually comes with authentic Neapolitan pizza, Osteria Fiorella is going to be your new favorite spot. Reminder: Wood fired oven makes pizza, everything else is pie or whatever, not pizza. Call me snob, I won't deny. Sausage Pizza: This was the star of the show. The flavors were bold, and the spice level was genuinely interesting, not "hot," but well balanced. The real winner, though, was the crust. Unlike some traditional spots where the bottom is soft, this had a distinct, satisfying crunch that held up to the toppings. Casoncelli Pasta: Do not skip this. The pasta was perfectly al dente with a great chew. The filling was incredibly savory, and the overall dish was just a flavor bomb. Crafty. Good energy in the kitchen, service was rather on the slow side. The prices are actually reasonable considering you're inside a high-end venue like Red Rock. We were staying at Red Rock so decided to give this restaurant a try on Friday night. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated promptly. We ordered some bread and my partner ordered an old fashioned whilst we decided what we wanted from the menu. We were then left with quite a wait before someone came back to take our order (about 20 minutes) and actually wondered if we had been forgotten about entirely. Eventually our server took our order and our food came out about 20 minutes later. I had ordered the short rib doopio (a type of ravioli) and my husband ordered the veal Milanese with a side of the bucatini. My pasta dish was thoroughly underwhelming, with no real flavour at all. It seemed like the ravioli hadn't been sealed correctly and there was water inside the filling. My husbands veal was also a little disappointing, with the breading to veal ratio being way off (a lot of breading) and the meat not seeming great quality. The bucatini was the best dish, with the pasta being cooked well and the sauce having a nice flavour. We also weren't offered any black pepper or Parmesan when our food arrived, which we found strange for an Italian restaurant. Our bill came to around $140 (plus tip) which we thought was expensive for the quality of food. Although there was nothing fundamentally wrong with our dishes they were both underwhelming, and we both agreed it was one of the worst Italian restaurants we have been to. We may have just been on a bad night but we won't be returning, especially given Red Rock has so many excellent restaurants. read more

We went for the first time on a Thursday evening and were sat within 5 minutes. They took our drink order right away and gave a few minutes to peruse the menu before returning. The lasagna is the best I have ever had. The meatballs were amazing and the veggie antipasto was very good. The margarita pizza was delicious with so much flavor. Adrian came over and we told him we were going split dinner since it was late. He was awesome and said no problem and by the way made us perfect old fashioned too. The food was great the caesar salad was delicious and perfectly dressed and the star was the ricotta gnocchi! Adrian said it was rich but so good too! You can tell this is one of my favorite restaurants by the number of checkins I have. I came here last Wednesday for dinner. I noticed that their menu had some changes. They rarely do a complete redo, but instead, change out one or two of the mains with something new. One thing I really like is that you can order from the Happy Hour menu anywhere you sit in the restaurant. For a solo diner, this is great! The price is downsized and the portion is also. This is fine with me. Some dishes that I'd never order for myself, I can now order for starters because the amount of food is less. The drink prices are of no interest to me. Immediately after being seated, I was asked about water/drinks and then I was brought a basket of bread and a bowl with olive oil and balsamic. For a starter, I got the red pepper bruschetta. Bread topped with mascarpone, balsamic, and roasted red peppers and I was off to a great start. I have had their pappardelle there but there was a new version, saffron pappardelle with the saffron rolled into the dough. It was coated with beeef shank ragu and bone marrow soffritto. The saffron in the pappardelle gave the pasta a unique flavor. For dessert, something new was added. They have bamboloni and I had to give it a try. They were served with lemon curd and blueberry conserva. What a good ending to this meal. Service here is always top notch and this was no exception. Dan was attentive and answered questions I had. My iced tea was replaced with a fresh one without asking. It's just the way they do things. Another visit will be coming soon as the summer corn agnolotti is back on the menu. Such poor and out of touch service from the hostess stand. We're a party of 4, my wife and I and our 2 children in high chairs. I knew it wasn't a good sign when they said we'll bring you the high chairs after we seat you... and I thought hello?!?! how are you seating us without the high chairs? You know we can't seat our children or ourselves so we'll just have to stand there. Next up we walked into a basically empty restaurant, they brought us to our table we were seated in the far corner for no reason, we immediately requested one of the tables near the water or at least in the main area outside to keep the kids entertained and hey that's part of the ambiance. Annoyingly the hostess came over and said oh those are reserved. I'm thinking to myself we made a reservation (which I said) and the hostess told me no those specific tables are reserved. I thought give me a break... yeah I get it we have two in high chairs. But you know what, the place is empty, the food is average at best. We are local and WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS, who are you holding those for?!?! If it was date night, we wouldn't be here!!! We only come because there have been two waiters there whom are great, including the one we had again! He gets it, remembers us always and welcomes us like good friends - that's how you do it!!! I've been here on a few occasions, but I would say the best experience is when you get a chance to sit in the outdoor section of this restaurant when there's good weather. It makes you kind of forget you're in Vegas instead of just any regular fancy restaurant. I also feel like it's a bit more spacious outside as well. The food and service was excellent as they were able to recommend food and drinks as well as check on us enough where it doesn't seem like a bother. I've eaten their pasta and pizza here and they're both pretty good. I think it's more about what you're feeling. My easy go to is always their Clam Linguine, but on this occasion we wanted to try the Cacio e Pepe. So why not get both? Win win situation I'd say. They're both slightly different flavors which make's it fun to bounce between the two but I'd say the Linguine Clam is the winner. Oh my gosh we had the most delightful evening at Osteria Fiorella last night. Our lead waiter Adrian was a consummate professional the entire evening. He is polished and thorough and kind and funny. He was enpointe all night as was his support wait folks. All were right there at our table with any need we found we had. The bartender , is a young man , I don't know his name but his drinks and manor were so professional and tasty. He came right up to me as I sat down and greeted me like a gentleman. The hostess was so sweet to us. It was my birthday celebration, I had booked a table on the patio for 6. It was beyond perfect for us. The weather was lovely and the sights were beautiful last night. The patio is quiet which is what I wanted for us. The food was beautiful and delicious. I ordered the clams fettuccine and the taste was perfectly divine, fettuccine is just the right thickness and texture and taste, yummy. I want everyone to know that this restaurant and staff are brilliant in every way. The calamari is tasty. The Cacio a Pepe, was wonderful homemade pasta and a creamy velvety and silky and just enough spice and just enough cheese. We all found the pasta had perfect texture. I was hoping the owner was there last night but he had left, I want him to know we will be back, we live nearby.
