My family and I eat here almost every week, usually on Sunday for lunch. They have a generous lunch deal that includes an egg roll, soup, an entree and your choice of rice. The food is served hot and delicious. I absolutely LOVE their egg rolls. I could eat a dozen of them. The family that owns this restaurant are great people and this is a family place. It isn't the fanciest Chines restaurant in town, but it is a great place to get a bite to eat. I highly recommend you give it a try. read more

I've ordered from this restaurant twice, both times to go. The first time, I had: - Broccoli Beef (2x), - House Special Fried Rice, - something I was pretty sure was called Veggie Delite but which I cannot find on any online menu, - and one more thing because my friend was there and said it looked good, but since I don't remember it, I guess that's verdict enough. The second time, I grabbed: - House Special Friend Rice and - Dried Fried Flat Noodles with Beef Both times, I thought the prices semi-excessive and the flavors a bit bland. I WILL SAY, though, that eating these as leftovers improves the taste dramatically to the point where if it tasted that good when fresh, I would be there for my comfort food fix all the time. 3 stars as it is, but 4 stars if the ingredients were given time to become friends. Horrible service. Because of the Cornavirus, you cannot eat in the restaurant so I got 2 lunch menu orders to go. I asked for the items with fried rice and wonton soup which is included on the lunch portion and they told me that I had to pay for the wonton soup. I asked why and they said you only get wonton soup if you eat in the restaurant. I said that should be included since I ordered off the lunch menu and at this time you cannot eat in. THEY SAID A FLAT NO. I spoke with the owner about it and she did not care at all. She was rude about it. When restaurants at this time are struggeling to keep open, she should of said no problem but she insisted a FLAT NO. I, we, will never be back. The owner needs to think about servicing the customer first and not her attitude. read more

Very disappointed in the food the order wasn't taken properly I didn't get my soup but they charged me for the crunchies and it was a total of $19.74 for what's supposedly is called peppered steak and there's more carrots and juice in it then there is steak and they use a fried rice they don't do fried rice properly they just put a little soy sauce on it so it's not really fried rice I would highly say do not order for them very disappointed they screwed the order up and the food doesn't look that great read more

We live in the neighborhood and have tried Canton Express several times previously with okay results. We also understand the pressures that Covid has brought upon small local businesses, so we do our best to support them. In the past we've felt the food here was rather bland, but tonight's order was based on convenience. We ordered for pickup, not delivery. It appeared that they rarely see pickup orders, since the place was a mess. Tables were stacked together, with all sorts of supplies scattered about. Worst of all, there were plates of half-eaten food sitting there, including below the counter where food is delivered from the kitchen. Was glad to see some fresh veggies in the wonton soup, but wontons were mushy, and the broth was like drinking water and salt. Our pork dish was also overwhelmingly salty, with only a mederate amount of meat in a mushy mix of onions and peppers. Seemed like warmed over leftovers - not fresh. We're sorry to see what's happened here. read more

Canon Express has great customer service, and are always fast when ordering takeout. I enjoy the shrimp or vegetable fried rice, and you get a large portion for about $9. I haven't explored much of the menu beyond the sweet and sour chicken, and the fried rice but I would assume everything is relatively good for the price! read more

Nothing fancy, but it's fresh and fast-food-ey. I've used delivery through their website, there was a 2 dollar delivery charge and a 10 dollar minimum, which is understandable. I did not receive a coke can I added to my order and it took 50 minutes to arrive, even though I live right around the corner (that's why I'm taking away a star), but it was a small lunch order and it was during lunch-rush, so it was not too bad. Have low expectations and be a little forgiving and this might be your go-to place, which tastes still a lot better than Panda Express. read more

Ordered takeout from Canton Express on a recent business trip to Dallas. The restaurant is a simple storefront with some tables but it seems the main business is takeout. I ordered online and the order went through fine with just one issue I'll describe shortly. When I got to the restaurant my order was ready and the cashier was friendly and efficient. Breakdown of my order and my thoughts: Pot Stickers: The menu said steamed or fried. I requested pan fried (because, of course) but they came deep fried. That aside, the filling was flavorful and they weren't bad. I couldn't tell if they were hand made but I suspect not, more likely of the frozen variety you can get at any good Asian market. Chicken & Broccoli: Traditional brown sauce, white meat chicken. Good flavor. There was an option to order extra chicken which I did but that was probably a mistake. There was plenty of chicken to be sure but not enough broccoli, but that's on me not the restaurant. Chicken Fried Rice: Decent. I always order my fried rice without peas and carrots (a sure sign of Americanized food) and then see what other vegetables might be present. There were none in this order, so peas and carrots must be all that they add typically. Still, the flavor was good and there was a decent amount of chicken present. WonTon Soup: This was a pleasant surprise versus most basic won ton soups you can get. There were different vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage in the soup and it was quite good. Spring Roll: Basic spring roll, good flavor. Nothing spectacular but it was tasty. All in all, I enjoyed my order from here and would probably go back the next time I'm in the area. read more

Placed an order for chicken and broccoli extra sauce and egg roll with extra soy on the side. Got no sauce, a spring roll and no soy. The soda is also disgusting. I just moved to this area, I am willing to try everything in town. So, I was doing my nails next to canton express and decided to give it a shot. First of all, the owner( I think he's owner) was really friendly and greeted me right after I walked in. I ordered salty crispy tofu to take out. I can accept the tofu is not crispy bc it's take out, but the tofu tasted so plain and they didn't give me dipping sauce or I thought it would come with spice salty pepper. I didn't have high expectations since I read the review before I eat, but fried tofu is such a basic dish, it shouldn't be this bad. read more

We stopped by on a Sat. around 1:30 and although there was only a couple of people dining, takeout was brisk. I had the Sechuan Shrimp and Chicken and hubby had the Kung Pao pork. We asked for both extra spicy and they delivered! The place is small and nicely furnished for such a tiny restaurant space. Service was terrific. By the way, I see that someone griped about the shrimp but mine were cooked perfectly and they were LARGE! Too bad we don't live anywhere near here 'cause it would be added to our Chinese food rotation. But in the future, if we're anywhere close to here we'l stop in! read more
