Great food and awesome staff! Lots of space to sit and hang out. The red velvet cupcake was amazing! Everyone who works here is super friendly. Will be back soon.

Remove the casing BEFORE slicing the salami...

First time here, and not a very auspicious introduction. Incredibly slow (was quoted 20 minutes for online order, and waited another 15) and inexperienced staff. Took one bite into my Oliver Twist and immediately knew something was off...or rather, not taken off. The sliced salami still had the casing on it. Once that was sorted, the sandwich was quite good. Seasoned fries were requested extra crispy, and may have been...before they were sealed up in a wax paper bag. Chances of a repeat visit are pretty slim.

Ordered 2 meat combo at the Thursday night market, the brisket was so chewy, I could even eat it. Fries were room temperature.

First of all it's totally cute inside with a retro feel! There is also an ice cream shop that is attached to the restaurant. Convenient and great treat after eating next door! Since we had already shared a breakfast earlier we got the biscuits and gravy. Very good with generous amount of gravy and not too peppery! Quick service in a busy atmosphere! Beer and wine available. DEBBIE was so sweet..she brought alittle bacon for Wilbur my dog! ( I only gave him a tiny bit...he's a puppy!). They had some delicious looking pies as well! It was a Great experience with friendly locals and travelers!

There were already two tables seated and a few tables filled right after us and we were greeted immediately, given menus and offered drinks. She was the only server and was super chill and efficient. This is straight up a road side diner. I ordered the I-5 traditional breakfast of two eggs (over medium - which is not always done right, sadly, but they were perfect here), 4 bacon (so good), hash browns (not salted...which is fine because then it's not over salty, but they really lacked any flavor), and wheat toast. Randy ordered the B. A. T. Benedict (bacon, avocado, tomato) that came with hash browns. Hollandaise was bland so that was a bummer. Randy felt the same about his hash browns. There are tables, booths and a couple tvs around an open space.

Their "croissant" sandwiches, however, were not really croissant and more like crescent dough. A bit too doughy at that; we thought the ratio of sandwich contents (ham and swiss) to dough was off. Since they make their items fresh daily maybe the consistency might change in the future? Don't think we'd get it again though. Other than that, their scones, cookies, and 7 layer bar were delicious. I can't wait to try more of their selection when I'm back!

Visited July 9 2026. See my receipt as always as proof!…read more I have been wanting to go here as one of 2 places ( The Hive) that My girlfriend recommended. First time in Orland. Its a casual yet classy place for lunch and dinner. They have a shaded patio in front as well ( dog friendly). I love smaller towns! Relatively no traffic or crime! My boyfriend and I ordered off the lunch specials menu. He ordered the smash burger and chose macaroni salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp on a skewer with brown rice and spicy coleslaw. We always try each other's food! The smash burger was juicy and the macaroni salad was good! My shrimp had a nice grill on it and the coleslaw was delicious. The brown rice was alittle dry for my taste buds. It has a full bar with tvs to watch sports. There is quieter seating on the other side of the bar area. Overall it was a good experience! Great menu with plenty of speciality cocktails along with some craft beers! Staff is professional!
