Cortado was spot on! Food and pastries are also delicious. Everything is reasonably priced. Coming back for sure!

So sad to see the bakery close. While the bistro/restaurant will keep going and expand, the bakery…read morewas where it was at. Apparently, the owner wanted to re-focus on that part of the business. *shrug* I used to come here around opening and see a lengthy line. The croissants are some of the best in the area. The plain croissant is flaky and light. The ham & cheese croissant is more of a croque monsieur and it's a pretty substantial offering, full of cheese, ham, and béchamel sauce. The individual tarts (lemon, raspberry, etc.) and cakes are beautifully designed and are appropriately sweet. The tart crusts were legit. I'll miss coming here for pastries/desserts. Maybe I'll try the bistro when it opens, but now I've found a new spot on the Cape for French patisserie and viennoiserie items.

Along with a regular coffee that is bold & delicious. We split an almond croissant and we were moaning in delight!! I went back in to say thank you for the magnificent bites & the chef came out! It was a delight to meet, merci beaucoup & Au revoir! Also picked up an eclair filled with chocolate, rich and delicious. And the lemon tart which was sooo lemony tart indeed! Wow! Oh and a loaf of chocolate chip walnut holiday bread and a cheese batard oh and the pear tart!! We went nuts!! In heaven

It's taken me 10 years to discover the fine Beanstock Roastery in Eastham!! I came in during the…read moreweek, and I was the only one there. Wonderfully helped by Dez who got my one pound bag of the Nauset Blend freshly ground to take back home with me. The Nauset Blend is a light coffee and my favorite for breakfast, or just about any time. While at the Roastery, I looked at their various merch. They've got it all: from stickers, to shirts, to ceramic pour over cups, Beanstock logo mugs, Runamok syrups, and even cute coffee bean earrings. I was also able to taste one of their other coffee flavors, as they offer two complimentary coffees to try that were freshly brewed. The one that I flavored was the Honduran Marcala Organic, which I enjoyed very much. The other flavor of the day was the Dark Secret Organic. If you're on the Cape, and not far from Eastham, I highly recommend the Beanstock Roastery as a stop! They also offer local pick-up ordering. Size of coffee bags available for purchase are 12 oz and 1 pound bags. I'm just kicking myself for not knowing they were here all along. So grateful to have my freshly brewed Nauset Blend now at home.

We previewed their website and picked out the Cape Beach Blend which was in stock along with many other great selections. We were put off by some of the negative reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway. The sign for…read morethe restaurant is oddly placed so we didn't know which building it was in. But we finally found the right place, the orange door. This building has been a number of different restaurants which we've tried over the years. It has once again been redecorated with a small bakery area as you enter. We got there kind of late, spending time looking for the right building, and there weren't many people there. But we were quickly seated, and as it was a hot day, the hostess turned on an extra fan, even though the place is air-conditioned. Our server, Maria from Croatia, came quickly to take our order. She was terrific. She was helpful making suggestions giving us information and bringing our coffee and water very quickly. As the Place had cleared out, we also had a time to talk with her a bit which was a plus. We ordered the eggs Benedict and the Brekkes combo and the fresh squeezed orange juice. The fresh squeezed orange juice is really fresh and was excellent. The eggs Benedict were very good, but in an effort to get them out quickly, they came on a plate with nothing else, the hashbrowns came later. But they were a very decent eggs Benedict nonetheless. The Brekkes, which at Maria's suggestion I got on a croissant, was very good. It's really a breakfast sandwich with a very generous helping of sausage along with an egg and cheese and was quite tasty. As I said we were there kind of late and the hashbrowns were a bit warmed over but they were fine. All in all we very much enjoyed our breakfast and the service and plan to return.

Decent enough for us to make the mistake of going again. The second time, we waited over an hour for food, got no information from anyone and then suddenly were told food would be out soon. First came cold, poached eggs on biscuits, and a side of oily, burnt hashbrowns. Ten minutes later we were served inedible, burnt hash. It was horrible. Despite the obvious failure of theirs to deliver, they still expected us to pay for an inedible meal. So we did, and now here's the warning. The kind, inexperienced, younger staff should run elsewhere. The older, cantankerous staff, or maybe owners, should stop making excuses and operate a professional establishment or just stop. Don't waste your precious time or money.
