The coffee here is excellent, and I really enjoy not only the excellent service by the baristas, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the calm ambiance that the cafe offers, when you're waiting for your order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's always clean, quaint, and a nice place to catch up with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Gets packed because of all the WFH and students[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sometimes there's kids running around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Limited outlets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking: free 3 hour structure nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a lovely cafe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As a capital one venture X holder, I love that we get 50% off handcrafted drinks. I ordered a honey lavender latte, bowl of soul (jasmine tea + honey + soy milk), and a Honduras pour over, and all were delicious. They for some reason don't fill up the whole cup, but for 50% off, I can't complain. Upon walking in, there were only two people working, and they seemed a bit overwhelmed, so he didn't take my order for a few mins. However once he did, it was pretty fast that we got our drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is gorgeous, and there's an upstairs and downstairs area for people to converse, do work, or relax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish I lived closer so I could come back!

We needed to pass some time before dinner. My wife suggested the Capital One Cafe. I liked the idea, knowing we get a discount with my Capital One credit card. I ordered my usual latte, and my wife had a decaffeinated Americano. There was plenty of seating, so we went upstairs to enjoy our drinks. The cafe was full of students and people on business calls. It's a great place to relax while others work.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]actually found a cafe in this general area that's good to work/study in. large windows with lots of light, outlets scattered around, lots of people present if you like to people watch & a semi quieter area on the second floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] apparently discover also qualifies for the 50% off coupon alongside capital one cards, so that was a huge plus. my order came out to $8 for both items i purchased after the discount. i got a hot matcha latte and a blueberry muffin. my drink was lukewarm, like literally not hot at all. a little confused, but wrote it off as a fluke. the flavor of it though was fine. blueberry muffin is a little whack, but if you're in need of a small snack while studying, this isn't a bad option. [[HIGHLIGHT]]overall enjoyed hanging out here for a few hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Decided to stop by on my way to Sweetgreen on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. The baristas were friendly and I was able to purchase a Cortado with my Capital One card for 50% off. Very good coffee (I believe they partner with Verve)! They also still have a lot of the free Capital One MagSafe wallets that you can stick to the back of your phone. It fits around 2-3 cards. There's also a lot of places to sit. Upstairs has a few more couches and longer 4 seater tables. I don't see too many plugs in the seats, though. If I was more local, I could see myself coming here more often!

I am in love with the capital one ads on TV so I was so excited to try the capital one café today. It was such a great experience. The café is so beautiful and the people that work there are so nice. The guy at the counter was the best! I felt like the desserts were limited. Well they did have a lot of desserts, but none of them really looked that great. We got the orange scone and it was just OK and the guy gave us two little chocolate gingerbread man and candy cane and that was really sweet. We got the seasonal cinnamon maple latte and that was really good. It was just so fun to be there and they have the steel that if you're capital one customer that you get 50% off your handcrafted drink so that's really cool. I'm not a capital one customer, but it made me think about becoming one! I love the commercials so glad we went in and they serve Verve coffee which is the bomb.

my banking with capital one is my favorite when it comes to finances. their main office in walnut creek is the best: great customer service, great ambiance and even a cafe during regular hours although through the app you can do all things, you should check their café and talk about your personal finances with an advisor here! get a nice coffee while you're at it

Another great Capital One Cafe! They are still running the MLB promo (until the end of the season) for a free handcrafted beverage on Mondays. The avocado toast with egg is great. There are a lot of tables for places to work, and some of the tables are perfectly positioned near an outlet. I got here around 8:20 and the place was empty (and quiet). I will definitely consider working here on my telework days.

Ask the Community - Capital One Café

Do these Capital One Cafes actually have bank workers that can help with depositing and withdrawing funds from my Capital One checking and savings accounts?

Yes, from what I see they work off of IPads all have been very friendly. 1/2 off all Peets drinks

How many drinks can you get? Could it be very time you visit? Is there a limit?

Review #005 - 2020…read more I've been to this BofA on many occasions & service is usually pretty good. Although, a few times I've been stuck waiting in line with only one teller assisting everyone so that wasn't too fun. They do try to "encourage" you to sign up for "special" services if you have a business account with a certain amount of money just sitting there doing nothing. Unfortunately, I'm usually in a hurry whenever I'm here so I've never had a chance to talk to anyone about those services. It's usually best to come in earlier in the morning on weekdays as it gets pretty busy on Saturdays. They do have a free parking lot right behind the building, which is pretty uncommon in this area, since everybody's out to get your money. Yes, I do hate meter maids, as they've ticketed me twice! I understand it's their job to ticket you, but two minutes after you park & try to get change from a nearby shop is just unacceptable! Not that I was trying to be cheap, but they literally force you to pay for a full hour when you use your credit card, even when you only need to be there for less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I forgot about the free parking lot in the back and ended up parking in a private lot so that was my own mistake this time.

Since I no longer use paper checks--a common shift for many modern checking accounts--I was advised to have my bank complete and sign Section 2 of the CalPERS Direct Deposit form instead. I brought all necessary identification, including my passport, driver's license, birth certificate, and marriage certificate, to make the process as smooth as possible. Despite this, staff at the branch declined to sign or stamp the form, stating that Bank of America does not provide wet signature for external documents. I was surprised by this, especially given the bank's involvement in other verified transactions like mortgage processing; as my family has held three mortgages with Bank of America. As a result, I've experienced delays in receiving my funds and have had to request a physical check from the State Controller's Office instead. For those planning to retire using CalPERS or a 457(b), I recommend confirming your bank's willingness to support your financial transition--or consider a financial institution that can partner with you on long-term goals. I also did make note of this with the state of California.

It's reliable, until it isn't for all the wrong reasons. 1. At this branch, the ATM is almost always down. It's always no cash available currently (May and June 2024). 2. I tried to get ahold of its mortgage business - and the agent there are mostly not reachable. They also dissuade me from the best available options - which is availability and eligibility of 1st time home owner loans/alternatives. To be fair, maybe they're just not supposed to tell you what's right. 3. the ATM took my money and didn't send me a receipt. Nowadays, I have to always video myself putting in money for proof. It has come to that level of untrustworthiness. 4. I always need to watch out for the monthly fee that they charge onto my account and then spend time to call them to reverse it because I had sufficient amount in my account, or have enough direct deposit for the month, or whichever the reason it is that should have waived the monthly charge. 5. All the foreign money request is no longer available on site. You'll need to request well in advanced... but seriously, I thought at least they'll have the Euro's or something that is usually requested (since Euros cover lots of country... like almost a continent). 6. For this particular branch, they never have enough Lunar New Year envelopes - I have to go to branch nearby (Pleasant Hill for example). I hope it gets better.
