Second time we've been here and this was a much different experience. We waited over an hour and a half for a pizza and an order of mozzarella sticks.. usually when there's a wait that long, you call to let the customer know rather than us coming and having to sit there for this long. I understand large orders can prevent others orders from being done on time, but just the courtesy of letting us know or even giving us something small while we sat there and waited for our order would've been nice. The pizza wasn't great and mozz sticks were cold -- they probably made these first.

Sliced meatball sub? No flavor and cold.

Oh boy. I once again hate the leave a bad review but the food was really bad. Edible but just plain awful. The perks were the service in the front of house and that pizza crust. The crust was great. Now if they just added a flavorful sauce to it and cheese that didn't taste like a grease bomb, they would be doing it right. That meat ball sub? Something out of a hospital cafeteria. Zero flavor and the government cheese didn't help. The wings just looked sad. Not crisp and a bit rubbery. Also bland. The ranch and bleu cheese did have some really good flavor though so win-win. If you've ever been to the NE side of the country you'd know that This unfortunately isn't a great place to get pizza. But it sure looks it from the pictures and reviews.

    Burnt pizza

Burnt pizza. Completely chard. Ronnie didn't take accountability. It wasn't his shift, he said. How could you allow any burnt item to leave your premises without catching it! How could the cook miss it? Ronnie sent me to complain to Uber eats, cause it was a delivery! The delivery was great. Your product was burnt. I sincere apology would have been appreciated!

    The specials.

New york style pizza. We stopped in for a slice of the Supreme and a drink. For 6 bucks and a nice table we sat and enjoyed a late lunch or an early dinner. The crust was perfect, the kind you can fold and still get a crunch. Wonderful toppings. Yum! Stop in. Park in front of the pawn shop for easy access.

The BEST Pizza I've had in San Antonio so far. Everyone was so nice, it was clean and my order was hot and ready when I got there. It's a little out of my way but I had to try it. I'm glad I did! It was also very affordable. The pictures don't do it justice. I'm not sure what seasonings they put on the pizza but it makes all the difference!! It was so tasty. I will be coming here again and telling all my friends and family about Capos!

This is awesome; I read about how they do single slices on FACE book. I read there were two on Babcock, I found out this one is at a busy intersection and was unsure when it opened. I got there early, I saw it was open by 11:45 so I hurried in. They took plenty of time, I don't complain about that because I don't enjoy my food just sloppy like many places. The salad/pizza/drink were awesome for under ten dollars. I told them I'd be back and I keep my word. They don't know I'm world class review writer but they'll be pleased upon seeing this. Here's your "call to action "; go to CAPo"s.

They have a lunch special. 2 slices of pizza and drink. The slices aren't skimpy. I would have had enough with one slice. Cheese pizza was really tasty. They have a good selection on menu items and a really nice atmosphere. Stop by for lunch and try a slice.

I ordered tonight for delivery by GrubHub. This is the only place I am aware of in the city that has "Buffalo, NY style" pizza. The pizza was huge. Think about this when you order because when I did the math of 17 inches in my head I didn't think it would be so big. I bought a 13-inch veggie and a 17-inch pepperoni. First thing is the crust, it is on the thinner, crusty side, perfect for folding. It has a char on it that I love. The sauce is not thick and sweet, it has a home made quality, on the thin, rustic side, like it is made from fresh squeezed tomato. I liked the pizza and it's a nice change from the usual chain pizzas.

The first night I was greeted by a friendly host and sat at the bar, where Billy took great care of me. He recommended the Cotto e Salsiccia, and I'm so glad he did. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had. While I was there, the cheesemaker let me try a bite of the fresh mozzarella they were making in-house. It was still warm and absolutely delicious. The next night I was feeling a little homesick after being away for work, and all I could think about was that pizza. I walked back in and the host greeted me by name. I sat at the bar again, where another bartender remembered me from the night before, and Billy came over just to say hi. It seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling alone, being welcomed back like that can completely change your evening. What really impressed me was seeing that it wasn't just me. The guy next to me ordered two pizzas to go, and when the chef brought them out he smiled and said, "Oh, Jose! I thought this order looked familiar!" You can tell they actually know their regulars and genuinely enjoy what they do. The second night I ordered the Fontina e Salsiccia, and somehow it was just as good as the first pizza. Everything is cooked in the wood-fired oven--even the wings--and you can taste the difference. The crust has that perfect char, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of authentic Neapolitan pizza that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants while traveling, but very few have made me feel as welcome as Dough did. Great food is one thing. Great people are what made me come back the very next day. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana truly lives up to its commitment to authenticity. Our waiter was…read moreincredibly attentive and took the time to explain the restaurant's philosophy: as many ingredients as possible are imported directly from Italy, and anything that can't be imported is thoughtfully sourced from local producers. That attention to detail definitely comes through in the food. I ordered the arugula salad with chicken, and it was outstanding. The combination of candied pumpkin seeds, creamy goat cheese, roasted beets, and balsamic vinaigrette was perfectly balanced, with every bite offering great texture and flavor. My friends ordered the pepperoni pizza and couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Then came dessert... and I completely lost all self-control--in the best way possible. We ordered the affogato, tiramisu, torta di polenta, and the Nutella torta. Every single dessert was beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. If I had to pick favorites, the affogato and the Nutella torta were the standouts, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Excellent service, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, and food that delivers from start to finish. I'll definitely be back!

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.
