If you've never tried a Hot Bobbie then get yourself to Capriotti's and just do it. It's like heaven in a sandwich, and with turkey, stuffing and cranberry it's like being able to enjoy Thanksgiving left overs any day of the week. You can get it cold as s regular Bobbie too. They have a good selection of cheesesteaks too, my favorite being the classic cheesesteak. Steak is really tender with a great flavor, and I love to get extra pickles just to add some extra kick. There's plenty of more traditional sandwich options too, and also some specialty items that are uniquely Capriotti's. This store is conveniently located on Osa Blanco just off Durango. It's a decent size store with plenty of seating, though I generally just do take out. Service can occasionally be a little slow here, but I've found it to always be friendly. If you haven't tried Capriotti's, and especially if you've never experienced the joy of a Hot Bobbie, you should definitely give it a go, in my opinion it's one of the better sandwich chains around. read more

When I found out that I could order a hot bobbie, I had to order one from Capriotti's! For the past few years, I've always had a cold bobbie from Capriotti's! On a Tuesday around 11:00, I had ordered Capriotti's from Uber Eats mobile application. I was stuck in meetings all day, so I couldn't really leave my desk. I couldn't locate a "note" section on the Uber Eats Application, so immediately once I placed the order, I called into Capriotti's. I spoke to the team member and let them know that I wanted a hot bobbie instead of a cold bobbie for the order! He let me know that it would be no problem! The difference between the bobbie and a hot bobbie is that a hot bobbie is served warm! All of the ingredients are warmed up. It was originally a secret menu item for a few years. The uber eats delivery arrived on time. I ended up getting a medium hot bobbie. It was amazing! I will always order a hot bobbie instead now! The turkey was so flavorful and the stuffing was perfect addition warmed up! The bread was soft and scrumptious! I got a Bobbie, turkey sandwich with cheese, mayo and mustard, pastrami with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. 1. Bobbie- a) It was not hot......Cold. b) no gravy this time of year. I made my own c)THE TURKEY WAS DRY AS HELL!!!!!!! Terrible. Lacked enough DRY MEAT. I don't like shredded meat. The last time I had this sandwich, it's been at least 1 1/2 years, I don't remember it being shredded. 2. Turkey-AGAIN.....DRY AS HELL and lack of meat. Nor was I asked if I wanted any sandwiches toasted. 3. Pastrami- This was my son's sandwich. He said it was okay. The pastrami could have been more seasoned, kinda bland. It would have been better with pickles, which if they had them, I didn't see in the menu. Again, it was not toasted, nor were we asked if we wanted it. I went there on Saturday the food was great and the customer service was great too. I could tell they were really busy, but I still got my order pretty quick and it was delicious. The only problem is that it was really cold in the store and I wanted to enjoy my sandwich inside the store, but it was really cold I had to leave and just ate my food at home. I have been to this Sandwich Shop a number of times, but I will NEVER be gong back there. Today I ordered a Capstrami to go and explicitly asked for a side of brown mustard to be included in my order which I believe they charged extra for this condiment. Before I left the shop I had asked the manager to verify that the brown mustard was included in the to go bag, and she without hesitation that the brown mustard side was included. I only asked to verify this as several times before the brown mustard on the side was left out of my order. The inclusion for the brown mustard side was noted on my receipt. When I got home and noted my order was INCOMPLETE AGAIN & did not include the condiment requested on the side. I called the Manager and instead of owning the problem she was argumentative (worse thing to ever do is be argumentative with your customers); she did not provide an acceptable resolution and I certainly was not in the mood to drive all the way back to the shop. I love Capriotti's, I love how reliable they are and the quality of their ingredients. When I visited the other day, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I was being taken care of by a gentleman named Jystin who was extremely helpful with my order. He made sure my sandwiches were made with all the correct modifications. The staff here is fast, friendly, fun and courteous (The 3 F's and a C). The restaurant itself if always clean and well maintained. So I never have to doubt the quality of my food. I usually order the tuna here, which speaks volumes, because my thought on tuna sandwhiches is why bother when I can make it at home? Not as impressed as when they first opened up. They have added on some extra fee even though it's minimal to the receipt. If you ask to have it removed, they will remove it. Last couple times I had asked for no mushrooms on my cheesesteak because I'm highly allergic to it and there's been mushrooms on my cheesesteak by the time I get home, I realize it and I can't even eat it so I save it for my father for the next day and have to find something else to eat. Very disappointed have not been back since. I've actually switched and been going to Jersey Mike's subs and been having much better service and I only live right down the road.
