Worst Service Experience Imaginable - Beware the Service Department!…read more​I purchased a used 2016 Silverado from Heidenbreicht Chevrolet and had a great experience with the sales team. However, the service department has been a complete nightmare, and I urge anyone considering buying a vehicle here, especially a used one, to proceed with extreme caution. ​Within one month of purchase, while the truck was under full warranty, I brought it in for issues with hard shifting and transmission hesitation. ​Initial Refusal: Over the course of three separate visits, the service department insisted there was "nothing wrong" with the truck, despite my clear and repeated concerns. The staff was rude, dismissive, and demeaning, making me feel like my concerns were invalid. ​Management Intervention: I had to escalate the issue to management before they finally agreed to investigate. They eventually replaced the transmission wiring harness, assuring me the problem was solved. I immediately informed them that the issue was not fixed, but they swore it was fine and sent me on my way. ​Now, shortly after the warranty has expired, my truck has major transmission failure. I am left with a large repair bill and several years of payments remaining on a defective vehicle. ​Had the Heidebreicht Chevrolet service department simply done their job and properly diagnosed and fixed the transmission when I first brought it in--repeatedly--the repair would have been 100% covered under warranty. ​Instead, the only "solution" offered by Marissa was a measly $1,000 off a repair that is now going to cost thousands out of my own pocket. This offer is insulting and shows a complete lack of accountability for their negligence. ​In summary: The sales process was fine, but the service department is dishonest, incompetent, and unprofessional. They actively ignored a major problem while the truck was under warranty, resulting in significant financial damage to me. Do not trust their service department.

Terrible experience, the service department rude and uncooperative…read more They sold me a truck that was pre-owned certified that had a transmission issue, then refused to repair telling me its suppose to be that way. A total joke of an experience, then offered to buy it back and sell me a new one for twice as much as I paid for the one I bought from them. They also had my truck for over a week and offered no loaner. Telling me the had none ! I had no choice to file a claim with GM Corp. which is still pending as of today. Please BEWARE of this dealership !

This is my 6th leased vehicle and I learned so much from my salesman, Dave Crowder. He was patient, informative and made sure he found the right buyer for my trade-in. I test drove 3 vehicles and he walked me through each one. With Dave's persistence I got the exact vehicle I was looking for with additional options, color, interior, etc. I never felt rushed and doing business at the end of the month is always tricky. It also doesn't hurt when your salesman has a sense of humor too! I highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a GMC or Buick walk in and ask for Dave Crowder.

I told this specific person, along with every other problem, I stated in that report that the car was overheating and leaking something. They checked it and they said, nope no leaks..? They knew this, but did not fix it. I went there three separate times because my service engine light came on. This all happened in seven days. Instead, I took it to Oreillys to get a second option on the scan. There it was- Lost Communication With Engine Coolant Pump Control Module and my emission status now says yellow, whereas before this accident, it was green. Of course they said it was my fault. No emission light came while they were running the codes. I find that extremely hard to believe. Take it or leave it as far the service center goes, I am just stating my own experience.

That said, the overall experience with the dealership And the other associate that helped Nick left a lot to be desired. I fully understand that this is an eight-year-old vehicle with approximately 120,000 miles, and I was never expecting a brand-new vehicle. However, there were several things that stood out immediately, including excessive scratches and imperfections on the exterior, along with cleanliness issues inside and outside the vehicle. For a vehicle being presented for roughly $24,818 having it properly detailed before showing it to a potential buyer should be the bare minimum. The pricing was another major concern. The photo shows a price of $24,502, less a $2,000 dealer discount, plus a $280 fee and $34 plate-transfer fee. Based on those numbers, my calculation came to approximately $22,816. However, the actual price presented to me was $24,818, which was higher than the suggested retail price. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told this was not a mistake. Instead, I was told the dealership uses something called a market-adjusted price" and then applies the $2,000 discount to that price. That explanation was never disclosed upfront. I was willing to accept that explanation, but I also explained that I had already visited another local dealership with a comparable Escalade. That vehicle had better interior and exterior condition, fewer miles--approximately 113,000 versus 120,000--and came with a Carfax and a written quote of $20,000 plus tax. The Nissan dealer quoted me a price After taxes and fees, of $27,000 out the door. I even offered to bring the Carfax and written quote from the other dealership so there would be no question about what I was comparing. I was told that proof wasn't necessary. Before I left, I was invited to come back and show the associate the other vehicle if I purchased it from them. But the conversation ended with a comment along the lines of, if I wanted a perfect car, they had another vehicle for $80,000 that was perfect. That comment was unnecessary and completely missed the point. I never asked for a perfect vehicle. I asked for a reasonably priced, properly presented used vehicle and a straightforward explanation of the pricing. I understand that dealerships don't have to match another dealer's price. That's business. What bothered me was the attitude I received during the process. In this economy, you would think every dealership would be fighting to earn every legitimate sale, especially when a customer is prepared to purchase a vehicle. I was specifically told that the fact I was paying cash had no bearing on how the dealership would price the vehicle. Maybe, that's their business, but the way it was communicated made me feel completely unappreciated as a potential customer. I'm giving 3 stars, and I'm honestly being generous. I'm not reviewing the dealership based on a purchase because I didn't buy the vehicle. I'm reviewing the experience I had as a potential customer, and based on that experience, I don't see myself becoming a customer in the future. That said, Nick keep doing what you're doing. You provided great customer service, and I appreciate the way you handled yourself. Don't let one bad interaction or dealership policy change the way you treat people. Good customer service will take you a long way. I simply believe the dealership could have handled this entire situation much better.

Rich C. ended up chatting with us towards the end of our visit. He's the same sales person that had dealt with my mom's last purchase many years ago. My mother was able to get an idea of size of an Escape (ICE) and a Bronco Sport. Rich and his team member were both friendly and helpful and made my mother feel quite comfortable and at ease too.
