After speaking with the internet sales person and discussing pricing. I decided to drive to the dealership to close the deal. Once I arrived there the salesperson whom I had an appointment with was not available to assist me. I decided to wait, after waiting for about ten or fifteen minutes he showed up. I decided to purchase the car that we have been discussing for several weeks, suddenly, the price changed. Finally, after two and half an hour in the dealership, I was told that they made a $4000 mistake on the price. Then the sales manager came and told me we were close, how? He deducted my car as a trade in so we were right there with that price. WOW, I have one advice for you, if they give you a price, be sure to have a VIN number and the price all in writing before you drive to this dealership. read more

Updating to two stars because the engine error was due to my daughter not having the gas cap on right and they fixed the recall items. HOWEVER: (1) the new rearview mirror, which evidently is a known issue is not in stock and will take 2 weeks. We have to get a rental through them since its a safety issue and they can't give the car back until its fixed. (2) found out the auto light issue is a known issue, but with no fix at this time....? And (3) while I finally got a call back the next day from the service department, I wasn't home and they only left a message for me to call back with no indication of what was going on. By the time I got home, the service guy had left for the day and the person I spoke with took my number so another service person could call me. The call never came. read more

I'm not typically one to complain. I hate even writing a bad review for a business, but I do not recommend purchasing a used car here 1. I purchased a used car and It took about 3 hours to get the paperwork complete 2. We agreed some work needed to be done on the car (car pulled to the right), so they will deliver the car when it's complete. The first time they dropped it off, they did an alignment, but it didn't fix the problem. But I guess they might as well drop it off and see if I'll take it? I sent it back. 3. I called the next day and the sales person, AJ, assured me the car was driving straight now that they replaced the tire, so they'll send it to me again. The second time they dropped it off, they replaced one tire (not 3). Now it has 3 different tire brands on an AWD car and it still doesn't drive straight. I sent it back. 4. I call back and AJ says, sorry that's just the way the car is. You can return it for a $500 fee. Now I talk to the used car manager, Ken, who says let me call you back about the situation. Of course never does. 5. The next day I call the general manager, Eric, and of course he was very sorry and he wanted to fix the issue. He said if I still want the car he will get all 4 tires changed and personally make sure it drives straight. I agree that's fair. 6. A few days go by and he never calls. I call back and he says, "oh the car isn't done, I thought you had it? AJ must not have called you. Let me go drive the car make sure it drives straight and call you right back." Of course, never calls back. 7. The next day I call again and the finance manager answers. He says sorry about the problem, I thought you had the car already. I told him what was going on and he said sorry, my general manager gets busy with corporate meetings. At this point, I'm over it. I said keep the car. He said fine, but I have to charge you $300 for return. I told him, I'm not paying because we agreed the car would drive straight when I bought it and I still have no clue if it drives straight. He said let me see what I can do about waiving the fee. He was going on vacation (this was Friday) and said he would call me back next Thursday. Guess what? Never called me back. I call him back Friday. He says you don't have to pay and they'll refund me. Worst experience ever. They never once called me first. No one cares here. They just want your money. Buyer beware! Although I love the car, the experience was less than perfect and I can't help but feel a bit ripped off by the required Nitrofill in the tires and the security number etching. Be ready to fight to not have those (and good luck!). Also tried a bait and switch on the extended warranty - the paper work to purchase the car included the dealership's extended warranty (yeah, REALLY?!?) rather than Mazda's. They never even mentioned that they had a dealer warranty when we were discussing it and I assumed we were talking about an extended manufacturer's warranty. They agreed to switch that one when I spotted it, but check this carefully if you plan to purchase the extended warranty. read more

AJ and Paulina were spectacular! I came in looking for a new car after my Niassan Rogue's transmission went out. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door and helped immediately. AJ and Paulina listened to what I was going through and promised I was in good hands. They deserve a 0 star rating! I had set up over email exactly the car I wanted and negotiated the price. I told them I am coming from far and need to finish up the deal that day. I get a call one hour prior to our meeting asking what drink I wanted from Starbucks. I get there and The manager Ken and sales person AJ tell me they sold the car. Without even relaying this information to me via phone or email prior they still had the audacity to tell me oh lets start paperwork and by the time you are done we will get the same exact car here for you! So disrespectful customer service and honestly rude. Not one apology just "I have both good and bad news for you" How in the world can you start the paperwork for a car that you have no clue about and more importantly why would you expect a customer to have all the time to wait there for a car that they still trying to find! If I could give a ZERO rating, I would! AJ and Ken French are the ultimate scam artists. They called us, and I reiterate, THEY called us to turn in our lease early because we had such "equity" on the car, that they wanted it back to resale, and in turn would give us a great deal for another lease. Wow, talk about a switch-a-roo. We finalized everything on the term, signed the new lease and the lazy AJ and Ken didn't send in the paperwork in time, so we got charged double for the old lease and the new lease. My wife calls, AJ says it was a huge mistake and she will follow up...nothing!! The next month, we get charged AGAIN!! We call and they give us the run around. In short, STAY AWAY!! We are looking into legal action because this is a clear breach of contract...a contract is something that 2 parties agree to when making a transaction (thats for KEN who clearly doesn't know anything about contracts!) we will never do business with this dealer again. And since they breached the terms of the deal, we will seek to terminate this contract and get a different car. Again, AJ AND KEN FRENCH are terrible. read more

Went to Cardinale Way-Mazda. I wanted to point out the professionalism and customer service that was provided by the Service advisor, Chris. He was awesome. He would get 5 stars in my opinion. I received a quote from another guy there for a wheel cover for my vehicle and it was priced at $75 for just one wheel cover. Yikes! That seems a bit on the high side and you would think they would provide a discount for something like that but oh well. Gotta find one somewhere else for a cheaper price. read more

6 months after we traded in our old SUV, we got a notice of toll evasion violation from that car. I talked to their finance manager, Ms. Rodriguez, and was told they already forwarded my request with their DMV clerk. They haven't updated me about anything, I actually thought they already settled it. I mean surely, a legit, big car dealership can take care of DMV registrations, right? Wrong, it's been 2 months after and we just got a notice of delinquent toll evasion violation from the mail. This is just wrong! read more

Purchased my sedan here a year ago. My internet consultant, Aster Whitfield, got me a deal I was happy with. Fair trade in price and easy to work with. No 4 hour song and dance (unlike the other Mazda dealer off the 91 fwy). Since then I've been coming here for service and I also bring my CUV here as well. I always get the same advisor, Chris Lopez. (He might be the only advisor for the morning?) He's very helpful and quite good with estimated wait times. He has yet to go over (yes, I know just jinxed it). Best of all, no hard sells for weird stuff. They have specials for services but their regular prices are pretty well in line with what you'd expect. The dealership down the 91 fwy might be a tiny bit cheaper (like 1% or so) but these guys are more personable. My only gripe (not a big deal really, lol) is that the coffee in the waiting area is awful. It's actually become a running joke with the folks there each visit. Great dealership. If I could rate this dealership zero stars, I would. It was the most unpleasant experience and so unprofessional, from the moment you are greeted to the moment you leave the deal ship. I decided to go and look at a few cars for my wife. I was approached by a sales man who didn't greet me an was so pushy about knowing if I WAS GOING TO BUY TODAY. I told him I was just looking. he said in such a rude way " how can you just look an not buy."Insulating my time. He then notice I was unpleasant of his comment. He started to act nice once I told him I wanted to test drive one of their vehicles. He didn't ask for my ID and just took me on the test drive. He wasn't taking me serious. He kept making remarks about his personal life. But what I couldn't believe was when he mentioned his fitness routine consisted of illegal substances. And questioned if I had done a cycle before. At that moment I came into a conclusion that I Did not want to do business with this dealership. I requested for his name he said "Gonzalo." Proceeded to be rude when he shook my hand goodbye. read more

Unfortunately, this place is full of liars, starting with Ken French who agrees on a deal with you but only to add, when the paper work is about to be completed, "after market" charges such as nitrogen-filled improvement for tires -- which is simply outrageous -- and then the pawns who work for him and the other finance managers, who tell you over the phone they have the specific car you want on the lot--- manual Mazda 3 hatchback in my case -- so you would drive there 40 minutes or so, only to be told it is still on its way from Japan and then trying to sell you a different car. When you insist this is the car you want, they promise to get it from another dealership but never deliver. When you finally agree to get a different car with an agreed upon price -- automatic mazda 3 hatchback in my case -- they do the after market nonsense and insist on your filling a credit application when you have your own bank financing. Mind you, this happens after assuring you, over the phone, before your second visit to the dealership, that you do not have to apply for credit with them if you have your own financing. I even volunteered not to pick up the car until I brought the check from my bank, which needed the purchase invoice from the dealership, but to no avail. Ken French looks me in the face and states that each dealerships asks for something extra -- whether it is clear or door guard, nitrogen in tires -- which is standard on all cars and you can get for free at Costco -- or something else. You get a nice discount through TrueCar but they get some of it back through after market or preinstalled items. When you ask why did they tell you on the one hand that you don't have to apply for credit when you have your own, only to request it when you are there, Ken French blames his pawns for the misunderstanding. The pawns are not innocent either-- whether it is Vicky or Jeannette -- since they play along and misinform you to get you there, hoping that when you are there you would not leave empty-handed. Well, the worse thing you can do to prospective customers is insult their intelligence with these maneuvers. I ended up leaving without a car as I refuse to play with the devil and his/her pawns. If you are wondering whether Browning Mazda or Spreen Mazda are better -- think again. They all play the same game. read more
