It comes with two sides, and this time we went with double salad, but the fries and plantains are also great options. The ceviche had wonderful flavor with fresh toppings and delicious house-made plantain chips. The green beans were cooked perfectly, still crisp and topped with garlic and ginger that added great flavor. I've tried all of the empanadas, but this time I went with the veggie truffle mushroom, and it was delicious. The dipping sauce that comes with both the empanadas and the chicken is so yummy! My absolute favorite dish is the truffle mac and cheese. It's rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful without feeling too heavy. The truffle is perfectly balanced and makes it one of the best! Limón continues to be one of my go-to spots because the food is consistently fresh and flavorful!

My husband and son were still eating when they took my plate and daughters when they were still eating their meal. Usually when people are all finished, then you clear the table. We were outside eating and it was fine. It was rather cold, the waiter could have asked if we wanted the heat lamp turned on. When we left, the staff kindly greeted us a warm goodbye, and thanked Elizabeth especially for helping us order these great assortments of dishes. If you're going to drive all the way down to Burlingame, it had better be for something good and something good this is not. I haven't been here in a while but I can't imagine that they have changed much. The main problems in this place are: 1. Too small of a dance floor. You don't need tons of room to get your groove on but you need enough so you and a half dozen other couples can all comfortably do your steps. 2. Ceiling makes you feel cramped and it gets hot fast. This really just feels like someone's garage. It is much better to have air over your head when you are dancing--it just makes things feel a lot less claustrophobic. 3. Uneven crowd. Sometimes you get a pretty good crowd that is into it and sometimes you get a strange crowd that stares at you when you pull your date out onto the floor. Just not a good vibe for dancing. If you are going to head south, just keep on going into San Jose where there are better choices, or stop at Rocco's in Bernal. I will give them one thing--it looks like they do salsa every night, which is a rarity in SF. (Most clubs only give you a Sunday night or sometimes a Wednesday.) read more

If you like Caribbean music and Latin ambiance, you will also give this place 5 stars. I especially liked the dj's, the lights and the dance floor. The dj's played awesome Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, and Reggaeton, and even some great hip hop! I am also an avid dj and love dancing to Latin music dj's. They can really get the ritmo loco going!
