$6 1/3lb burger is now $8.19. Still very good!
    Dana H.

I was dying for a burger locally and didn't want to make my own. I ordered a $6 1/3lb burger to go. Annette was the General Manager and was working the drive thru and walk in at the same time. It's no longer $6 but $8.19 plus tax. It is angus beef and with inflation, it's still way less expensive than a gourmet burger at a sit down restaurant. I got it home and was surprised it was really tasty with the right amount of lettuce and toppings. The flavor of the burger was excellent with the char. I don't understand the low Yelp ratings because my experience was a good one. I will definitely return.

Out of all the places we had dinner in wine country, I can definitely say this place was my…read morefavorite. We had reservations for lunch as we had a big group and a pup. First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. Not sure if menu if set or it changes seasonally. Regardless, whoever is in charge of menu, chefs kiss.

Figured it was about time to return to this local place. Walking in, the place was busy and had a…read moregreat vibe. Lotsa action inside, but with the summer eve we're headed to the patio. THE PATIO: Nicely shaded with mesh sail cloth, so no risk of sunburn and you won't need your sunglasses. Spacious seating. THE DRINKS: probably why "Bar" comes before "Kitchen" in the name - Gintonica - made with the bar's "featured gin" of the week (or maybe month, or until it's gone). Refreshing -- like it's supposed to be - Love Bizarre - The name certainly is. This mezcal-based cocktail with cucumber, mint, shiso and adornments is great for a summer eve. - Misspent Youth - another gin-based cocktail, but with a sweeter tilt offered up by the addition of galiano, pineapple, and coconut - think Hawaii sans rum. THE FOOD: a little hit or miss for us; maybe explore more of the menu next time - Griddled Crab Cakes* - were mushy and almost tartar-like, and the ham hock flavor overpowered the crab. Won't re-order - Mezze Plate - Best plate of the bunch; flavorful and spicy. Would do this one again - Beef Brisket Tacos* - Too salty and the brisket was tough and stringy. Fuggedaboutit. * like most of the offerings, plates were served up as two per order THE SERVICE: Great start, luke-warm finish Polite and friendly greeting at the door and seating by the hostess. 5 Stars. The server seemed like more of a canned act. Polite, but not too much in the welcoming category. Seemed a bit in a hurry. We've had worse experiences, but I was hoping for something more than functional. 2 1/2 stars for that. Better luck next time.

I am rating this based on an experience I had with their food truck at Gundlach Bundschu Winery for…read morea movie night. I think my son and I were second in line. Cutest little Pink Food truck with a hand written menu and a choice of varied options from grilled cheese with mushrooms to Kimchi fries, even Bacon Caramel corn. Individual taking our order was very kind and efficient. I had just enough time to go grab a spot on the grass for our movie and come back to pick up. First of all, burger was cooked to perfection for my foodie son. He enjoys a little pink and a moist burger. I don't know what sauce was on it but it was savory and rich. The bacon was super flavorful, my son allowed me to have one bite before he scarfed it down. Second was our share item, the Kimchi fries, my son is not a fan of kimchi but I really wanted to try them. I ran ofd and came back to an almost empty bowl, yes, they were that good! He ate all of the fries! I can't even tell you what flavors it had because I had not one bite. Lastly was a Caesar salad and for me I just wanted a lighter option. Portion was a good size, not overly dressed, lettuce was crisp, cheese had that nice tart bite and the dressing was probably one of the nicer lighter dressings I have had on a Caesar salad. Perfect for a summer day on the grass. Lastly the Bacon caramel corn, was okay, We are huge fans of sweet popcorn but with the Bacon addition it was worth trying for the savory/sweet aspect. It was good, I could see the bacon but I think it needed more bacon, for the bacon to make a bigger showing considering it was a Caramel *bacon* popcorn. All in all it was a great meal, fresh, savory, good selection and I enjoy the sourced meats and ingredients. The pink decoration on truck just reminded me of a Pig in the cutest way.

Ingredients were only semi fresh, and I've had burgers worlds better for half the price. Haven't tried other things on the menu but I would imagine the quality is not worth the 20+$ per menu item. I love a good local food truck but this one is definitely a let down. Hopefully they can lower prices or increase quality!

Highly recommend sharing the Goat Cheese Croquettes - bite sized balls of cheese goodness, drizzled with honey and lavender. Perfection! We always get at least one seasonal Garden Salad - light and fresh! And I tried a few different main courses over our visits - all inspired and delicious: +Bucatini Pasta with broccolini, sun-dried tomatoes, chanterelles, and pine nuts +Burger (it used to be a thick and rich burger with a bordelaise sauce, but over the summer it was more of a double smash burger with cheese...very Americana, and a little "lighter" than the previous option) +Roasted Mt Lassen Trout - light and clean +Tikka Masala - I ordered this comforting dish with tofu but friends ordered it with chicken. It's flavorful, and a beautiful, bountiful presentation. Barndiva is known for their cocktails. We like our go-to classic and mezcal margaritas, but have worked our way through some of their signature cocktails, always adorned with dried fruit and/or edible flowers! If you haven't visited recently, I do recommend giving them another try. If you can't get a reservation online, call - that's worked for us! Cheers.
