Really glad this Carl's jr. is close to my house, and didn't expect much, but the service SUCKS. Came here this morning because we wanted to try the new pretzel breakfast sandwich. Noticed she was on her phone, first off, and as we stood there she got off of her phone but gave us this look like, "hurry up and order". No greeting, no nothing. And worst off, she's a shift leader! Didn't catch her name because she kept moving around, but I know the difference in uniform color so I know what position she is in. I mean trust me, I don't expect much from fast food service, but I'd rather go to the McDonald's off the 111, because they know great service. read more

So I went here last Monday night after soccer practice just to get a famous star meal.. I get to window she tells me 4.70. I give her a 5. She comes to the window and gives me just a Hamburger says here you go, walks away. She comes back to window looks at me I said the fries and drink..she throws her hands up tells me I didnt order the combo I said you asked me med or large didnt you? She said well fries wont be done for 3 min and that comes to 4.75 I said ok. Laughing because I never even got change from the last 5 dollars or a receipt. In all I paid 10.00 for a famous star small fry and water. Did I say I never received change.. lol read more

The staff has a bad attitude the food was below Carl's usual standard it took 5 minutes to get a chicken sandwich which I don't mind if it's fresh I expect something being cooked fresh to take time but once I got my sandwich it was hard and cold so I basically waited 5 minutes for someone to put together a cold chicken sandwich it always surprises me about this location as it's never busy but I guess that shouldn't be no surprise given how it's run. read more

Freshest Carl's Jr. Ever. Service was ok. Nobody Hardly here at the moment but that was the hottest burger I've ever had from any Carl's Jr.

I walked into the store to order my food. I ordered a large strawberry lemonade, cheeseburger, and crisscut fries. The cashier was super nice (young Asian girl), and she offered that it was cheaper as a combo ($5) instead of the items individually ($7.50). The cashier brings the food to your table. I thought the order came out fairly quickly. The food tasted great too. The strawberry lemonade was excellent too (but unfortunately no free refills). Bathrooms were fairly clean too (but just needs updating, like newer sinks and floor tiles, which looked like they were made 30 years ago). Like other reviews stated, there is no wifi, and the cell phone signal is really weak (just like most places in Palm Desert). Anyways..., I will definitely come back to this Carl's Jr store. read more

This review is for the SERVICE only. The food is mediocre. Fish is always burned. Chicken strips are good though. The most unmotivated and miserable employees of any Carl's Jr. I've ever experienced. You never get a greeting, only "Can I help you?"... you never get a "THANK YOU", just a "here you go." What's up with the manager of this place? Is he/she that unconscious to not notice how the front-line people are interacting with customers? This isn't a one-time event... I've gone a number of times and the same treatment to me and other customers every time.They don't even smile. Luis and David both look like they'd rather be somewhere else. (If they do, at least PRETEND you care about your job and the people who are paying your salary--your customers.) And as much as I'd like to say they should know better, I must blame the manager. These people need basic customer-service training. Do YOUR job and give it to them. I go elsewhere now. It's not fine dining, for sure, but basic niceties go a long way to retain customers. read more

One star because the food was good. But that's about it. I pulled up and ordered and pulled up to pay. No one was there! For about 3 minutes! Which is the amount of time you should be able to order pay and get food at a FAST FOOD drive thru!! Someone finally took my card to pay. There was no greeting or apologies for the wait. 6 minutes later my food was brought to me. I asked the guy "are you guys busy tonight or what?" He looked around and said "no". Just went to the drive thru , they took my order , then at the window, as I await to pay for the meal , I start feeling as though I have been waiting a while. I look at the clock again , it has been 10 min and no one has even acknowledged me or the wait . At that point I pull over , noticing that the drive thru had 5 more cars waiting . I came into the restaurant only to experience the same service . People were walking out of line and leaving the establishment . At that point it had been 15 min , and no one even was at the cashier . It was horrible service , I received my order me the cashier did not even apologize . They only had two employees and probably could not accomplish the orders on time. I only mentioned that he should have simply acknowledged me , vs just acting like he forgot about the drive thru for 10 min . read more

This place served my son a raw hot dog. When we asked for a cooked one, they then served the replacement on a bun that was dry and stale. Really stale and hard. Burgers were dry and seemed like they'd been sitting around quite a while. Yuck. read more

I went to this location to order a breakfast sandwich combo, I was the only 1 in the drive through, the lady taking my order barely spoke English so i had a hard time understanding her, then she told me to drive around front by the stop sign to wait for my order when there was no 1 behind me, the stop sign was out far from the store so i parked by the front door, when she came out to give me my food she got mad at me that i didnt park far away by the stop sign and had an attitude telling me that there was no stop sign over here, I said ya this is closer and she rolled her eyes, wont be going back to this location, bad service and slow service read more

This was the worst Carl's I have ever been too. I ordered the $5 meal box which was advertised on their windows showing a wonderful presentation meal. But to my disappointment, my food was thrown into the box with my fries just scattered. On the picture, the fries are in the fries box while mine was just trashed. I also asked for Ketchup and I got salsa. Who wants salsa with fries? Are they literate? I do not recommend this venue or will I use Carls again. Thanks for the dissatisfied service! read more

Don't go here if you want any kind of quiet meal. The place is always noisy and uncomfortable. Ususally at least bearable, but this mroning they were drilling and jackhammering a table at unbeleivable volume. If you don't mind eating reheated food or in your car, this is the place for you. read more
