    Nasty

So workers wanna get paid 20 & up. But don't wanna put work in for paying customers I mentioned fresh burger of grill they gave me old meat .. pure laziness and disrespect because they wouldn't eat this for the manager and whole staff . Poor customer service and listening skills. Avoid this place will be contacting corporate support to really pay a visit to this location.

There's a difference between charbroiled and charcoal. U can believe it tasted like the charcoal it looks like it does

Spent extra to supersize my hubbies $6 burger combo so I could steal some fries to go with my "healthy" charbroiled fish sandwich. When I got home the charbroiled turned out to be charcoal and there were NO fries to mask the nastiness. If I hadn't arrived home to a hungry new born I'd be headed back to speak my mind and get my fries. I guess it's another granola bar for this new mommy :-( Dinning out is hard with kids but this wasn't worth the time it saved me! Strike 2 Carl's jr!

One is a kids menu burger the other is the California All Star burger.. can you tell which one is which

The worst place for dinner ever. The hamburgers are over priced, and child like. The kids menu has better hamburgers. Don't stop here when there's a McDonalds and a Burger King down the street. Cold french fries and the service sucks.

So this review will probably be updated in the next few months, once they have been opened for awhile and get the swing of things down. Carls Jr opened today 1/10/14 in the old Taco Bell spot on Patterson. It has decent parking but getting in and out can be a pain. This review is just on dining inside. Since today was the grand opening there were lots of folks going thru the drive thru and the inside wasn't to busy. But had more 'corporate folks' inside then customers. We ordered to meals for here and staff was pleasant and smiling. Inside was of course sparkly clean and the big wigs were making sure customers were enjoying the food. Now, we got our cups and number . Chose drinks and sat. We literally waited for our food for 8 minutes. Now for 'Fast Food' that was way to long of a wait. But hey, they just opened so it was understandable. Hubby ordered chicken sandwich and I tried out the new philly cheese steak burger. His was good, but mine... Let's just say I don't recommend. Food was hot when it arrived but the fries and zucchini not so much. All in all I'm happy with another choice of fast food in Riverbank, and even more so that it's 24 hours. Since jack in the box is the only other place open 24 hours. Breakfast served till 11am and next time will try the drive thru, but all in all. Carls Jr is a welcome to the City of Action!

Who knows what crema is ??? But it was ¢60 ?????

Carl's Jr. In riverbank strikes again. I had a bit of faith this time but holy cow it was complete shit! The lady were being rude ... the fries were soggy , the onion rings were gross, and she charged me for my ranch and honey mustard that I always get for free???????? The manager Claudia T was really bad! Never again!!!!!!! Get your service straight! As a manger it is really shitty . No wonder the Carl's Jr. Here has a low rating!

This is NOT a charbroiled chicken salad
    Valerie S.

I never eat at Carl's Jr. The menu usually looks too greasy for me, but my friend and coworker recommended the charbroiled chicken salad. At my lunch I ordered at the counter 2 charbroiled chicken salads, two medium drinks and an order of jalapeno poppers. I also order two packets of balsamic and two packets of house dressing. I saw two salads go into a bag, I never order here so I didn't know better. I left, drove back to work and settled into lunch. What I ended up with was two side salads, no balsamic for my coworker. I am not one to demean anyone in the job they have, if they are working then good job...but really. All you had to do was listen to your customer, provide customer service to that customer and give them a correct order. None of that happened today. THIS is another reason why NOT to eat at Carl's Jr.

Lower quality burgers, not hand breaded crispy chicken. Bring it back!!

My burger was absolutely juice, amazing A1 Mushroom Swiss Burger is I remember correctly. Upgraded to bottomless side of garlic Parmesan broccoli which was to die for. My wife had the Jalapeño Heatwave which was perfect with just enough spice. We shared a tower of onion rings and that campfire sauce is incredible, if they sell it in bottles I'll have to go back. Everything was perfect, thank you again!

But as he walked us over, I clearly saw an open booth and asked if we could sit there instead. He said it was closed and then suggested we just take the partial booth "to make it easy." A few minutes later, I watched him seat another guest--who had been waiting behind us--in the exact booth I had asked for. That didn't sit right. The food didn't improve things either. The onion ring tower came out warm, not fresh, and the "bottomless fries" were room temp. When my meal arrived, my burger was also just lukewarm, and the sweet potato fries tasted old. I had to ask for a fresh batch. To top it off, the manager checked in on the table next to us but completely skipped ours. Overall, it was really frustrating and disappointing service from start to finish. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

Bob ordered the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I had the salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. What really made the evening stand out was our server, Antonia. She was friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. She made us feel welcome as first-time guests, checked on us at just the right times, and helped ensure everything went smoothly throughout the meal. The service felt genuine and never rushed. Between the excellent food, the comfortable patio, and Antonia's outstanding service, we had a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back and would be happy to recommend Cool Hand Luke's to friends and family.

Not knowing if they do open seating at the bar, thinking it was possibly all one area for the restaurant. I walked to the front the hostess was some what helpful. I felt a little judged when she gave a little giggle when I asked questions of where the bar was, is it open sitting, etc. We went into the bar, sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful. We tried one of the spring drink specials. A Just Peachy Marg and Strawberry Marg I am sure mine would have so delicious, but it was a tad sweeter than I would have liked. The person I was with got the Strawberry Marg and she said it was a little too sweet too! We ordered an order of the potato skins... They were on a happy hour menu and it was a great portion for 5 bucks and pretty tasty. Wish ranch would have come with them as well as the sour cream. I finished off with a tall 805 and to be honest... I felt it was a great price... $8. I swear it's been more at other chains. Will be back before our movie again, but might just stick with the beer.

Inside room is ok, a bit cold feeling with concrete counters, floors, etc. There were several groups at the bar, 3-4 guys on one end, 2 guys at the other, so I sat in the middle. The first red flag was the female bartender, who was dressed in sweats and a ball cap, like she had just rolled out of bed. Very unprofessional, even for a beer/pub. She seemed disinterested in serving me and was more concerned about talking with the 4 guys. Then another guy & girl joined that group. They all knew one another, obviously regulars. The beer list was decent and well-balanced. 4 IPAs, a couple of Pils/Lager and Stout/Porters, Hazy IPAs, Cider/Selzer, and 4 grocery store beers: Coors Light, Modelo, Bud Light, and ? IPAs were from Henhouse, Drakes, Dust Bowl, and ? Large food menu for such a small place. From the bar, you can easily watch the cook on the flattop. After reading the list of sandwiches, I figured the turkey/ham/etc. was the Sysco-type, inexpensive kind, so I opted for a cheeseburger. Burger & fries arrived on a metal sheet pan. The burger looked good, and the fries looked a bit undercooked (not golden brown). Bun was toasted on the flattop and had a bit of mayo, no mustard, ketchup, etc. Fries came with a small 1oz thimble of ranch. As I suspected, the fries were undercooked. I cut the burger in half, and the center was undercooked. Then I noticed the burger patty was actually two thin patties pressed together. WTF? First bite was a warning- the meat had no seasoning and tasted like cardboard. Thankfully, I got a second beer and washed down the burger. Only ate half of the burger. I'm guessing they sell a lot of booze, because there is no way people are going for the food. I wouldn't be surprised if this place is closed by the end of 2026.

I would give it 5 stars for the friendly service! But I had to knock off 2 stars because what I ordered was not very good. I ordered the Thai tacos and they offered a low-carb version on a bed of lettuce instead of tortillas. The presentation was nice and I know they really tried, but it was pretty bad. The sauce tasted more like ketchup and did not taste like a Thai sauce at all. It was supposed to have chopped peanuts in it but it hardly had any. The chopped chicken pieces were drowned out by the ketchup tasting sauce. I thought there would be more avocado on it but there was only a tiny piece on each taco and they chose a bad avocado because the avocado was turning brown with stringy fiber in it. I couldn't eat it after a few bites. On the other hand hubby had fish and chips which he liked. The french fries were good. So my dish was a bomb while hubby's was decent and predictable. I would return if I'm in the area because the service is so friendly and nice, but I would not order that again. I would try something more mainstream that's hard to botch up like maybe a hamburger or a sandwich.
